Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Shandong, Liaoning and Jilin Provinces
2006-05-12
Ms. Yang Qingyu was a fifty-two-year-old practitioner living in Liaoning Province. She was arrested at home in 2002 and taken to a brainwashing class because she practised Falun Gong. The police beat her for not cooperating, resulting in several injuries. The authorities continued to monitor her at home after being released. It affected her so severely mentally that she suffered convulsions at the sight of a police officer. Long-term persecution by the Chinese Communist Party contributed to her death on March 4th, 2006. -
Family Doubts Ashes Released by Police Are Those of Missing Practitioner Wu Minghzhong
2006-05-11On February 11th, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Mingzhong was arrested by police in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On February 18th, police notified Mr. Wu's family that he had committed suicide, but his family did not see his body, only what were supposed to be his ashes. [Note: When practitioners in China are tortured to death, the authorities commonly list the cause of death as "suicide"] His father said he does not believe it since he did not see the body. A box of ashes cannot prove his identity. -
Details of the Persecution that Caused the Death of Mr Li Boping, from Hubei Province
2006-05-11Dafa practitioner Li Boping continued to practise Falun Gong after the persecution started on July 20th, 1999. At that time, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officers arrested him. They threatened him, monitored him, sent him to brainwashing classes, and to mental hospitals. Due to relentless persecution, he went from being a person who was completely healthy and full of energy to suffering a mental collapse. He died in March 2002 after falling off of a building. -
Two Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hebei Province Died under Persecution
2006-05-11Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Xiu, 39, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000, and was arrested by the 610 Office Liaison Office in Beijing. Ms. Liang was tortured after being sent back to the Town Government Compound, and her family was extorted out of five thousand yuan. Ms. Liang was arrested again in July 2003, detained in the Zhuozhou City Detention Centre, forced to go through brainwashing for three months, and extorted out of another 6,500 yuan. Under financial, mental and physical tortures, Ms. Liang became sick, and she died on March 27th, 2006. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Heilongjiang, Henan and Guangdong Provinces
2006-05-11Ms. Yang Lihua was a retired teacher. In 2002, she was arrested by police because she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution in Harbin City. The police tried to send her to a detention centre, but she escaped. She was forced to leave her home for more than a year. In this period the police issued an arrest warrant for her, and her income was cut off. The 610 Office and her school forced her to write a "Promise to Stop Practising Falun Gong". Afterwards, the police continuously went to her home and harassed her. She was badly harmed both mentally and physically, and she passed away on December 20th, 2005. -
Shen Jianli, a Teacher at Jilin University, Is Reported to Have Been Killed and Her Body Disposed Of
2006-05-10Shen Jianli was a Dafa practitioner from Changchun. At the end of April 2002, a police officer unintentionally released information that Shen Jianli had been killed as a result of persecution. So far, her body has not been found. When she was arrested, Shen Jianli was only 33. Her health was perfect, but now we have reason to believe that she is deceased, possibly as a result of organ harvesting. -
Elderly Mr. Pan Xuecheng Died under Persecution in 2005
2006-05-10Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Pan Xuecheng, 70 years old, was reported and arrested and detained for 45 days in the Wujin Police Station. Upon being released, he was arrested and taken to the Township Government to be interrogated. Under long-term persecution, the elderly Mr. Pan's mental and physical health was severely damaged. His sicknesses came back that he had had prior to practising, causing his lung to fester and he was vomiting blood. He died on September 27th, 2005. -
Four Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Henan, Shandong, and Hebei Provinces
2006-05-10Ms. Dong Fuyun was approximately 60 years old. According to her family, Ms. Dong had gone to hand out materials exposing the persecution at about 8 p.m. on February 17th. Around 9 p.m., her family received a call and then hurried to the emergency ward of the Chinese Traditional Medical Hospital. They were informed that she had a severe cerebral hemorrhage. When doctors examined her, they found Falun Dafa materials on her. Her family said her health had been good and that she did not have any illnesses. Her body was immediately cremated, so we could not examine it. -
Two Elderly Practitioners Die Due to Persecution in Anhui and Hebei Provinces
2006-05-1088-year-old Ms. Han Houzhen. She started practising Falun Gong in 1996. Prior to that, she had serious hypertension, heart disease, a gastric ulcer, gall-stones, and other diseases. After the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, she was subjected to harassment and threats from the resident committee and police department, and her house was searched four times. Her daughter was detained three times, was injected with unknown drugs and lost consciousness, which left serious after-effects. Even like this, she was sent to serve three years in a forced labour camp. Due to the immense stress and persecution, this elderly woman passed away on March 26th, 2006. -
Xu Chengben Persecuted For a Long Time; His Wife Tortured to Death in 2004
2006-05-09I have been jailed in detention centres seven times, jailed in a labour camp once and in brainwashing classes three times. In December 2000, at Haidian Detention Centre in Beijing, the police incited inmates to pour cold water on my naked body for an hour. Then they hung a bottle of water from my private part and swung it. My wife He Xiuling was jailed in detention centres five times. In 2003, because she produced some material exposing the persecution she was jailed in a detention centre. On March 11th, 2004, she was very weak and was dying from the torture. The 610 Office and the hospital sent her to the morgue when she was still alive. She was tortured to death. -
Mr. Wang Jianguo Persecuted to Death; the No. 1 Custodial Station in Jilin City Couldn't Get Away with Shirking the Responsibility
2006-05-09Today, as the behind-the-scenes crimes of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp are being exposed to the public and shocking the whole world, Mr. Wang Jianguo, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was persecuted to death by the Nanjing Police Station and the No. 1 Custodial Station, both in Jilin City. On April 12th, 2006 Mr. Wang's family members were told that he had died from a hunger strike and malnutrition. When the family went to the postmortem they found that the back of Mr. Wang's head was covered with pits and bumps, there were scars on his left arm, and there were bruises and a bloody wound on the right side of his face. It is far more likely that Mr. Wang Jianguo was beaten to death. -
Wang Jianguo Tortured to Death; Jilin Detention Centre Authorities Try to Shirk Responsibility

When Wang Jianguo's over 80-year-old grandmother heard of her grandson's death, she took a taxi on the morning of April 11th and went to the Nanjing Local Police Station. She saw a few of the police officers inside the station and started to cry and said, "How did my grandson, Wang Jianguo, pass away?" Police Liu Qun said, "He practised Falun Gong, and he died from a hunger strike." Grandma shouted in tears, "It was you who beat him to death. You tortured him to death! The chief of police said, "Wang Jianguo held a hunger strike and he died from lack of nutrition..." -
Mr. Cao Baoyu Persecuted to Death, Local "610 Office" Denies Family's Right to Claim the Body
2006-05-09Mr. Cao Baoyu was a 56-year-old practitioner from Hebei Province. After being persecuted until he was in a life-threatening condition, he was sent by the Guangyang District 610 Office to Guangyang People's Hospital for further persecution. Mr. Cao died in the hospital on April 27th, 2006. The Guangyang "610 Office" has not allowed family members to claim his body. -
Mr. Zhang Anpu Tortured to Death
2006-05-0838-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Anpu was arrested on April 6th, 2006. Inside the detention centre, Mr. Zhang Anpu was cruelly beaten by guards, causing his whole body to swell, and he appeared to have heart disease. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials extorted four thousand yuan from his family, and released him at 11:00 a.m. on April 29th. He died as a result of torture on April 30th, 2006. The right side of his lower back had a red mark that covered a large area, and there was swollen tissue behind his neck. -
Two Practitioners from Sichuan and Liaoning Provinces Died from Persecution
2006-05-08Ms. He Kechun, 60 years old, was arrested by the police from the National Security and was "unlawfully sentenced". Later, she was harassed many times by police. Consequently, she passed away on March 25th, 2006. Ms. Zhen Xueru was arrested when she went to Beijing to appeal. She was returned to her hometown and fined 2,300 yuan. Police officers often went her house to harass, intimidate, and threaten her which made her ill. Because she could not practise Falun Dafa her illness became worse. She could not walk or take care of herself. She died on January 11th, 2005.
