Ms. Wang Yaqing from Miyun County, Beijing, Dies at Home after Being Injected with Unknown Drugs in a Forced Labour Camp Hospital

On August 15th, 2006, seven or eight policemen from the Binhe Police Station and the National Protection Team in Miyun County came to her hair salon and lifted Ms. Wang Yaqing up and threw her into a police car and drove away. She was first detained in the detention centre and then she was sent to the hospital within the forced labour camp. The doctor withdrew one syringe of fluid from her lower back and injected some unknown drugs. After the injection she felt dizzy and drowsy. She lived in pain for seven months before she passed away on May 27th, 2007. -
Older Ms. Li Yulan from Jilin Province Dies after Twice Being Detained in Forced Labour Camps
2007-06-2760-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Yulan had been detained in a forced labour camps twice. During the detainments she was severely tortured both mentally and physically. Upon release, police officers often went to her home to harass her family. She was forced to leave home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution. She passed away on June 18th, 2007. -
An Account of the Persecution Suffered by Mr. Qin Weidian and His Wife, Li Meixin, from Shandong Province and His Family During the Past Eight Years
2007-06-27Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, however, Qin Weidian and his wife, Li Meixin, have suffered numerous inhumane tortures for their belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." When in detention in the town government building, guards poured four to five buckets of water into the cell before throwing ice blocks in as well. The detained practitioners could only sit in the ice-cold water with their clothing all wet. Then, the perpetrators brought out the practitioners one after another for beatings. In the dark corners of the garage about twenty government workers held the practitioners down on the floor and brutally beat them with wooden clubs and police batons. Guards beat Ms. Li Meixin in this way for more than twenty minutes. Ms. Li's entire body turned black and was totally unrecognisable. -
487 Villagers in Kangping County, Liaoning Province Appeal for the Release of Practitioners Sun Lianjiang and Jing Yong'an
2007-06-27Our father taught us how to become good people by his verbal instructions and his exemplary conduct. He always strictly required us to be kind to others, to be polite, to do more good deeds, and to refrain from doing bad deeds. Especially after our father started to practice Falun Gong he taught us to conduct ourselves according to Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. When our father not only recovered from his illness but opened an electronics repair shop to serve our neighbourhood, we were all very happy. All our fellow villagers liked his service, and our family started to have a steady income. In the past few days that our father has been detained, many people have come to request repair services. We cannot help crying when they come to ask for help, only to realise that our father, who presided over the repair shop, is not there. We miss our father dearly. -
Mr. Ma Zhonghe's Body Thrown Outside Detention Centre (Xinjiang Autonomous Region)
2007-06-26Because Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ma Zhonghe went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, he was detained from 2000 to October 2001, in the Changji Forced Labour Camp located in Wujiaqu City. He died of torture while detained in the Kuerle City Detention Centre some time between 2003 and 2005. His body was thrown outside the detention centre's gate, and no one claimed it. -
Mr. Liu Liang from Shandong Province Dies--Possibly Murdered by the Police
2007-06-26On June 5th, 2007, six policemen broke into 24-year-old Mr. Liu Liang's home. They raided the house without showing any documents. Mr. Liu was not at home at the time. On June 6th police continued to watch Mr. Liu's home. On July 7th, a villager discovered the body of Liu Liang in a well and his motorbike nearby. He reported it to the police and three police cars showed up. Many villagers surrounded the scene. The local 610 Office head, Wang Ronghai, went to Mr. Liu's home afterwards. They were trying to cover up their crimes and claimed that Mr. Liu committed suicide because of practising Falun Gong. They knew that they were the criminals and they tried to force Mr. Liu's family to not pursue the case. They told Mr. Liu's family members to come to Zhangying Town Police Station on June 13th to discuss compensation for Mr. Liu's death. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning and Shanxi Provinces Persecuted to Death

In 1999, 52-year-old Mr. Zhao Xingquan went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was arrested and sent to a detention centre for forced "transformation" and brainwashing. He was only released after having 2,000 yuan of so-called "earnest money" extorted from him. In 2000 he was reported for practising Falun Gong, detained again and released after police extorted 1,700 yuan from Zhao's family. Because of the long term mental and physical torture, Zhao Xingquan's physical condition deteriorated, and he passed away on May 28th, 2006. -
Practitioner Qu Guangyi Subjected to Brutal Torture in Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province
2007-06-26Practitioner Mr. Qu Guangyi was arrested by local police officers during the autumn of 2006. They sent him to Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp, where he was subjected to brainwashing tactics. While in the camp, he was brutally tortured. The guards hung him up, deprived him of sleep, and burned his skin. As a result, he was in very poor condition both physically and mentally. In May 2007, Mr. Qu was sent to a forced labour factory where he had to work long hours. The food provided there was worse than what they fed animals. He suffered mentally and was diagnosed with nephritis (inflammation of the kidney). Guards from the labour camp forced Mr. Qu to continue working after giving him very poor medical treatment. -
"Drill Practice" Was Used to Persecute Dafa Practitioners in Harbin City Women's Jail
2007-06-25Practitioners were dragged outside by guards and forced to squat in the freezing cold every morning from 5:30 to 6 a.m. After breakfast every practitioner was dragged to the top floor of the main jail. There they were subjected to many torture methods for extended periods of time. Practitioners were handcuffed to a steel column and shocked with electric batons set to maximum voltage. Tao Shuping cuffed and kicked Lu Yingchun. They commanded prisoner Wang Yubo to shave the practitioners' hair in what they called the "ghost hair style." -
The Persecution of Two Falun Dafa Practitioners in Shashi District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province
2007-06-25Wang Qiong, a teacher, was also imprisoned several times for practising Falun Gong. She was sentenced to forced labour twice and sent to a brainwashing centre three times. In 2001 she was tortured for four whole days and nights. Li Zhigang, an officer from Section One at the Shashi District Police Department, along with others committed the crimes against Ms. Wang. She was forced to stand still continuously and was forbidden to sit. They abused her with electric batons and later imprisoned her in the Shashi Detention Centre for 14 months. The torture and abuse caused this formerly healthy woman to develop heart disease. The school is currently deducting more than 7,000 yuan from Ms. Wang's salary. Ms. Wang Qiong has not yet been reinstated in her original position as a teacher. -
Facts of the Persecution of Ms. Peng Shuhua from Xinjin County in Sichuan Province
2007-06-25Ms. Peng Shuhua is 66 years old. She went to Beijing in mid-December of 2000 to appeal for Falun Dafa. Police arrested her at a Beijing train station and took her to the Chengdu Beijing office. She was searched and 900 yuan in cash was taken from her. The third day she was escorted back to Xinjin County of Sichuan Province. The local police extorted 10,000 yuan from her family. One month later, police arrested Peng Shuhua and put her in the Detention Centre. She went on a hunger strike against the persecution, but the prison guards force-fed her. She was detained there for 8 months before she was released. -
Ms. Jiang Hong Released from Unlawful Detention in Heilongjiang Province Only When Her Life Was in Danger

On April 29th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Hong was visiting her neighbour when police arrested her. Her family went to the police department to request her release, but her father (in his 70s) was chased out by Zhou Tiegang. After being detained for 35 days, Ms. Jiang Hong became dangerously emaciated. She had to be placed under intensive care constantly, and she was dying because she could not eat for ten days. -
Falun Gong Practitioners in Inner Mongolia Subjected to Intense Persecution (Part 2)
2007-06-24Li Yumei was sentenced to two years in Tumuji Forced Labour Camp. She was beaten many times, shocked with electric batons, force fed, hung up by her handcuffed wrists for a long time, exposed to cold conditions, and forced to do slave labour. Later, in a detention centred, guards handcuffed her wrists to a pipe on the ceiling and she could barely touch the ground with her toes and hung her like that for seven hours straight every day for eight days. They also shocked her with electric batons. Her whole body weight fell on her wrists and she suffered excruciating pain. -
Many Practitioners Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Centre in Huaihua City, Hunan Province
2007-06-24Recently the Chinese Communist Party has assigned quotas for practitioners to be brainwashed to each employer in Huaihua City, Hunan Province. As a result, many Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested and taken to a brainwashing centre by local agents. Ms. Dai Dingcui, 60 years old and a retired employee of Huitong County Water Supply Co. in Huaihua City, was tricked into getting on a bus. She was directly taken to the Huaihua Brainwashing Centre at around 8:00 a.m. on May 17th. -
Accounts of Persecution at Sanshui Forced Labour Camp in Guangdong Province
2007-06-24The camp guards put all the practitioners under strict control together and called in collaborators to torture them. They called it the "Demons' Intensive Training Group" and corporal punishment continued endlessly against the practitioners. They physically tortured practitioners all day long, yelling things like, "I will make you die!" They forced the practitioners to recite poems in the evenings. It was an excuse to keep the practitioners from going to bed. Some would have to recite the poems until early morning.
