My 80-year-old Mother Died of Grief after the Police Lied to Her and Refused to Let Her See Me in Detention Three Times

On February 4th, 2003, police burst into my home, raided it and sent me to a detention centre. I was imprisoned in this hell on earth for about half a year. During this period, my 80-year-old mother was left alone by herself without anyone to take care of her. My mother visited the police station to ask for my release. Police shouted insults at her and said "You have no hope of seeing your daughter, so there is no need for you to come back." On another occasion they said to her, ""Since your daughter practises Falun Gong, she refuses to acknowledge her family. She does not want you as her mother." After my mother returned home, she was so upset that she cried every day and became critically ill. She died soon after. -
Mr. Zhao Jucai, Disabled from Persecution, Sentenced to Seven Years of Imprisonment
2006-10-17Zhao Jucai was arrested in March 2006 at his home and was detained in Yidu City's No. 1 Detention Centre. In the beginning of July 2006, Zhao Jucai was sentenced to a five years of imprisonment. However, another court trial was held on August 31st, 2006, in which his term was extended for another two years. Before the second trial, Zhao Jucai was almost disabled. He had trouble walking because he was so weak as a result of severe persecution. -
Guizhou Province Women's Forced Labour Camp Refuses to Let Guards Go Home in Order to Cover Up News of Atrocities
2006-10-17Practitioners were frequently taken to isolated places, where selected individuals took turns driving them into the wall or iron beds by pulling their hands and deliberately tripping them. The perpetrators repeated this again and again for pleasure, while saying that they were 'giving lectures.' The practitioners were forced to stay longer if they did not cooperate. The brutal persecution of these female practitioners is constantly changing and it seems there is no end to the cruelty. Even a glance between practitioners incurs a beating. They also commonly rub an unknown drug on the practitioners at random. -
Persecution Evidence from Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained at Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-10-17In August 2001, guard Liu Hong brutally tortured practitioners Wang Jie and Li Cuifang. They were compelled to submit to the "forced backbend" position. [Note: This is a very painful form of torture in which one arm is reaching down the back behind the head and the other hand meets it from the lower back. The hands are handcuffed together to cause unbearable pain] They were handcuffed with their hands up, in front of their chests, for a month. Sleep was forbidden. The handcuffs remained, even when they were eating or using the toilet. -
The Bitter Experiences of Two Falun Dafa Practitioner Police Officers in Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province (Photos)
2006-10-16There are two police officers in my hometown, the chief and the deputy chief of the local police station, Officer Sun Jihong and Officer Shang Xiping. After they began practising Falun Gong, they got rid of much bad behaviour typically seen in today's police force in Mainland China and became honest and kind. Since the onset of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, both of them suffered severe persecution. Beijing police officers beat Sun Jihong to death. His wife, Yuan Hezhen, was tortured to death. It was recently learned that Shang Xiping has been sentenced to ten years in prison. -
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Officials Relentlessly Persecute a 60-year-old Kindergarten Teacher
2006-10-16Six of us were sent to a detention centre. We were detained for 30 more days. Every day, we were forced to do much labour. We were also forced to strip 5 kilos of thin copper wires. There were animal droppings in our food. The vicious guards also ordered us to recite the detention centre rules. We did not cooperate with them. A member of the organisation department, Chen Su, interrogated me twice. He tried to force me to stop practising. I answered him, "My determination in Dafa cultivation is unwavering." They asked me to write the three statements. I did not cooperate. -
The Persecution of Dafa Practitioners Mr. Sun Kuixun and Ms. Sun Huijun from Pingdu City in Shandong Province
2006-10-16On September 5th, 2006, authorities from a detention centre sent more than ten police officers to Sun Kuixun's house. He was arrested and to protest he went on a hunger strike. The police directed workers to force-feed him. First they used scissors to force open his mouth, stuck in some pliers to hold his mouth open, and a doctor inserted a tube. Even though he knew that inserting the hard tube would cause severe pain, he still inserted it and pulled it out, and re-inserted it. After they inserted the tube, he was fainting and on the verge of death, so the authorities sent him to the emergency room. When Sun Kuixin first awoke in the emergency room, a leader of the team said, "You should be grateful that I did not kill you!" -
Practitioner from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province Recalls Being Mistreated Five Years Ago
2006-10-16In late July 2000, I travelled to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. I was arrested while riding on the bus from Tianjin to Beijing, and was interrogated for an entire day. Inside the Tianjin Detention Centre, when we did do the exercises, the guards beat us. There was no bedding, only rough wooden boards for sleeping. We were forced to eat mouldy steamed corn bread and a piece of dried vegetable. We are kind people and yet we were treated worse than criminals. To protest our detention, we went on a hunger strike. The guards force-fed us, which caused my teeth to become loose due to my mouth being forced open. -
Sanshui Forced Labour Camp Refuses Relatives' Request for the Release of Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-10-16Ms. Jiang Jiayin, Ms. Jiang Lanlan, and Mr. Wu Xiyuan, practitioners in their fifties, were arrested and detained in Sanshui Forced Labour Camp for four months. Ms. Jiang's mother went to Sanshui Labour Camp to request the release of their relatives. She wore a T-shirt to the camp with these words written in large letters: "Wronged" and "Give me back my daughters Jiang Jiayin and Jiang Lanlan." On the back it said: "There is no crime in having a faith, stop the persecution." The T-shirt was violently stripped off Ms. Jiang's mother by labour camp guards. They then threatened her, "If you do this in any other place, you will be sentenced to several years in prison." -
Mr. Li Yuzhang from Heilongjiang Province, 58, Dies as a Result of Persecution
2006-10-15On September 23rd, 2005, more than ten policemen surrounded 58-year-old Mr. Li Yuzhang's home, ransacked it, arrested him, and took him to the police station and not given anything to eat for four days.. He was sent to a detention centre and was not able to walk steadily. His condition worsened when he was sent to the Suihua Labour Camp in March 2006. He had difficulty walking, and his abdomen was swollen. He told the camp administration that he could not work, but guards said that he had to provide doctor's orders to be excused from labour. He was dying by August 2006 so he was allowed to go to hospital. Only He died on October 5th, 2006. -
Mr. Lu Tong Recounts the Torture He Suffered at Fangqiang Forced Labour Camp in Jiangsu Province
2006-10-15Practitioners who refused to renounce Falun Gong were forced to stand in the corner facing the wall from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. the next morning. Sometimes practitioners were forced to stand all night. Inmates took turns to monitor us around the clock. In this vicious environment, physically abused and injured practitioners were forced to clean the floor on their knees [because they no longer could stand after standing for long hours.] Fifty-eight-year-old Zhao Jinquan's ankles were so swollen that they became as thick as his calves. Some practitioners had been forced to stand daily for five months or a year. I was forced to stand still daily for over three months. -
Mr. Wu Liantie Dies after being Brutally Force-Fed - Torture in Panjin Prison Continues
2006-10-15Practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie was held in Panjin Prison. He began a hunger strike between April and May 2006, protesting the abuse he received from the guard Wang Kuizhong, who brutally beat him. Wang Kuizhong ordered inmates to force-feed Mr. Wu, causing massive bleeding in the upper and lower intestines and a high fever. He was sent to the prison hospital seven days later. Mr. Wu was dead on arrival at the hospital. On May 24th 2006, the Panjin Prison notified Mr. Wu's family. -
The Suffering of Practitioner Mr. Cheng Huazheng in His 60s at Bazhong Labour Camp in Guizhou Province
2006-10-15Three years ago, Cheng Huazheng, was perfectly healthy. But now, due to the tortures he experienced in a labour camp, he is skinny and weak, his body is covered with wounds and his previously black hair is grey. He cannot walk normally and his mental health has been damaged too. Before the persecution, he had perfect teeth, but in the labour camp, most of his teeth were knocked out. Now, he cannot chew anything, and his gums bleed whenever he tries to eat something. He is out of the labour camp now, but he is very weak. He vomits blood daily due to internal injuries and he is in a very dangerous situation. -
610 Office Tries to Coerce a Practitioner to Be Their Spy: the Story of Mr. Huang Yuxuan in Baise City, Guangxi Autonomous Region
2006-10-15On September 13th, 2006, police arrested me and interrogated me. I was only allowed to sleep one hour every day. After several days, I was traumatised and exhausted. I could see no hope of getting out. I wanted the persecution to end, so I made up a false oral confession. After that I just fabricated things as I thought of them and gave the police several other false oral confessions. I wrote that after I was released I would mobilise other Falun Gong partitioners to hand in Falun Gong materials and would secretly investigate those who made Falun Gong materials. Now I solemnly declare that the two guarantee statements I wrote in September 2006 are null and void. -
Four Practitioners Die as a Result of Persecution in Hunan, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Hebei Provinces
2006-10-14On October 25th, 2000, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Ping, 60, went to Beijing to appeal, and was arrested on Tiananmen Square. She was picked up by local police, detained in Deshan Detention Centre for 24 days, and had 3,000 yuan extorted from her. She was closely monitored, threatened, and her home was ransacked. Her husband (also a practitioner) has been detained four times, and is now serving a three year term in Jin City Prison. After December 2005, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials kept coming to her door to harass her, hiding nearby day and night, and causing her liver and gallbladder disease to worsen. She died on July 4th, 2006.
