Ms. Shen Ju Died from the CCP's Unremitting Persecution

34-year-old Ms. Shen Ju, a Falun Gong practitioner was persecuted repeatedly by the 610 Office. She was arrested in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, in 2005 and taken to a detention centre, where she contracted scabies. In early January 2006, the illness became more much serious, and she fell into a deep coma before she was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away. She is survived by her six-year-old son. -
Practitioners from Tianjin City Cruelly Tortured; Several Died
2006-02-04Mr. Tang Jian was an excellent teacher. Because he refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong, he was sent to a forced labour camp. His face was covered with injuries caused by burning cigarettes. Each time before he had a bath, the prison guards beat him brutally so that his skin was broken and his muscles were smashed. Then they filled the bath tub with salty hot water and ordered criminal prisoners to hold him in the water so that he could not stand up. Mr. Tang still refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong. As a result, he died of the long term torture when he was only 39 years old, leaving his young wife and a young child. -
Officials in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hold a Brainwashing Session to Persecute Practitioners
2006-02-04Communist regime agents are still persecuting Dafa practitioners. On May 20th, 2005, they held another brainwashing session and arrested nearly 200 practitioners. They physically tortured and mentally tormented them. These corrupt officials forced the practitioners to read articles that slander Dafa and also to watch videos of the same slanderous content. They threatened and intimidated the practitioners that they would only be released if they write guarantee statements to renounce Falun Dafa. If the refused, they would be directly sent to labour camps or prisons. -
Two Elderly Practitioners from Henan Province and Hebei Province Passed Away Due to Repeated Persecution
2006-02-04Mr. Yan Yong'an, 70 years old, had been repeatedly harassed, threatened, fined, and had his home ransacked by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials from the district, township and village and also by police officers that went to his house. His wife was also arrested and tortured for exposing the persecution of Falun Dafa. The psychological torture he suffered cannot be put into words. He gradually developed illness symptoms. Sadly, Mr. Yan passed away on December 10th, 2005. -
Details of the Persecution of Several Practitioners in Hubei Province
2006-02-04Ms. Wang Kailan, over 40 years old, was formerly a senior nurse at a hospital. She was dismissed from her job in 2000 because she was a Falun Gong practitioner. In 2001, Ms. Wang was sent to forced labour for one year, which was later extended to another year. While in the Shayang Forced Labour Camp, all ten of her fingers were nailed to the wall. Her whole body turned black and blue. She regained consciousness after they poured cold water on her body. As a result of the abuse she experienced at the labour camp, Ms. Wang could not sleep while lying on her back and had to sleep on her stomach. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mrs. Wang Jifeng from Chongqing City Passed Away in 2003 Due to Persecution
2006-02-03Falun Dafa practitioner Mrs. Wang Jifeng passed away on August 13th, 2003 as a result of cruel persecution by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials. She was 26 years old. Her husband Gu Shengxue was sentenced to two years of forced labour and was actually held in a labour camp for five years. Her sister Wang Jiqin died in September 2002 after being savagely tortured at the Maojiashan Women's Labour Camp in Chongqing City. She was 29 years old. This is yet another tragedy in one of the many families hit hard by the unjust persecution. -
Mr. Liao Shikai from Chongqing City Tortured to Death in 2001
2006-02-03One day at the end of 2001, the police took practitioner Mr. Liao Shikai, in his 40s, to the police station. By the next day, he had been tortured to death. (Note: Mr. Liao was very healthy when he was taken away.) The police were afraid to bear the responsibility for this crime so they did not allow Mr. Liao's family to see his body or take pictures. They directly cremated Mr. Liao's body. The local residents protested the injustice inflicted upon Mr. Liao Shikai. The police dispatched many police vehicles to disperse the protesters in the name of "maintaining public order." -
Three Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Liaoning, Sichuan and Heilongjiang Provinces
2006-02-03Mr. Li Hongliang, about thirty years old, was a doctor. After the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal many times. Consequently, the 610 Office, the public security agents, people from his workplace repeatedly arrested, detained and persecuted him at a detention centre and at a mental hospital. The authorities released him only after he suffered a mental collapse. Due to his mental trauma which resulted from the torture, he jumped off of a tall building and died. -
Five Dafa Practitioners from Sichuan, Jilin, Liaoning and Hebei Provinces Die from Persecution
2006-02-03Because she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution in October 2001, 57-year-old Ms. Chen Guohua was sentenced to a year and a half in a forced labour camp, and was detained at a detention centre for seven months. When she distributed leaflets in 2004, she was arrested and taken back to the detention centre for more torture. A few days after her return home, she was once again arrested and taken to the detention centre. After continuous torture and long-term persecution, Ms. Chen Guohua died on December 18th, 2005. -
The True Face of the Hebei Rape "Special Case Team"
2006-02-02In Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, policeman He Xuijian of the Dongchenfang Police Department raped two women Falun Gong practitioners who were in police custody. It has been 56 days since the Zhuozhou rapes. Yet this matter still has not been satisfactorily resolved. Subjected to public pressure worldwide, a proper resolution of the case once seemed quite possible. There are victims, witnesses and physical evidence in this case. Is it so difficult to solve this case? -
Beijing Women's Prison Resorts to "Public Bidding" to Brainwash Practitioner Ms. Xu Na
2006-02-02Ms Xu Na, a practitioner from Beijing, has been detained in Beijing Women's Prison for more than 4 years, where she has suffered all kinds of torture. She refused to renounce her belief, despite being brutally beaten, locked in small cells, forced to sit in lotus position with both legs crossed for long periods of time, tied up, deprived of sleep, left in the snow and many other gruesome tortures. Over the past 4 years the authorities at Beijing Women's Prison failed to force Xu Na to renounce Falun Gong. -
Practitioner Mr. Liu Changling from Shandong Province Died Due to Persecution
2006-02-02Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Changling, an engineer from the Qiuji Coal Mine of Qihe County in Shandong Province, was arrested and detained numerous times after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Dafa in July 1999. Mr. Liu passed away on July 22nd, 2005, at the age of 56. Just over a month before he passed away, Mr. Liu was still under surveillance and was almost arrested. -
Five Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning, Inner Mongolia Provinces and Chongqing City Died As A Result of Persecution
2006-02-02After the persecution began in 1999, 34-year-old Mr. Li Baoqing went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was detained many times. Once an engineer, he was demoted and worked in a factory. In October 1999, he was sentenced to two years in a forced-labour camp, where he suffered all sorts of torture. His company fired him while he was incarcerated. They confiscated his house, and his wife divorced him and took all the money they had saved together. The long-term persecution destroyed his health, affected his spirit and cut off his income. On July 3rd, 2005, he died on the way to the hospital. -
Mr. Yu Huinan Dies from Torture at Suzhou Prison; Mr. Chen Guang in Coma for Six Months
2006-02-0160-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Huinan was tortured at the Suzhou Prison for five years. He died on January 4th, 2006. His wife and two daughters are incarcerated. Practitioner Chen Guang was sentenced to eight years in prison for practising Falun Gong. Mr. Chen suffered severe brain damage from torture on July 29th, 2005 and has already been in a deep coma for six months. -
Four Falun Dafa Practitioners from Shandong, Shanxi and Heilongjiang Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2006-02-01Ms. Wang Chongxia, in her 60's, went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Dafa on December 22nd, 2000. The police from the Qianmen Substation arrested her. Later on the Shanxi Government Office in Beijing detained her. The police also raided her home. In April 2001, she was sent to a brainwashing session located in the Zhenchen Male Labour Camp in Taiyuan City. She did not get home until July. Policeman Gao Feng continued to harass her by visiting her home frequently. Serious symptoms redeveloped and she passed away in June 2005.
