Crimes of the Laiwu Iron and Steel Complex "610 Office": Mr. Shang Qingling Tortured to Death, Ms. Jiao Fangyu Forced to Have an Abortion

The "610 Office" in Laiwu City have committed many unspeakable crimes against Falun Dafa practitioners: Mr. Shang Qingling suffered barbaric force-feeding in a detention centre, which led to his lungs becoming infected. He died on February 1, 2001. He left behind a wife and a son, with no one to care for them. A six months pregnant lady was forced to have an abortion and then was thrown into a brainwashing centre and forced labour camp. -
Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners Permeates Every Aspect of Life in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2005-01-29The Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp provides a good example of the how the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners permeates every aspect of life in China's labour camps. The labour camp provided only two meals a day. Generally, nobody got enough to eat. Meals were made using coarse grain, which is actually animal fodder. For six months, one of the daily meals would be porridge made from the coarse grain. For another six months, both of the daily meals were steamed bread made from the coarse grain, along with frozen Chinese cabbage and salty rutabaga soup (which is served year-round). -
Corrupt Officials from the North China Oil Field Defame Falun Gong and Persecute Practitioners
2005-01-29Besides the fabricated story of the 1,400 death cases, which was broadcast after July 20, 1999 to defame Falun Gong, two additional fabricated news stories originated from the North China Oil Field. Case 1, "Ma Jianmin cut his belly open to look for a law wheel" Ma Jianmin and others in his family had a history of psychiatric problems. Upon his death, China Central Television produced the fraudulent story "belly cut open to look for a law wheel." Yet his son repeatedly declared that Ma Jianmin's death had nothing to do with Falun Gong. -
Mr. Cheng Jingshan, a 64-year-old Falun Dafa Practitioner from Hebei Province, Dies As a Result of Torture
2005-01-28Mr. Cheng Jingshan was a 64 year old farmer from Hebei Province. At the end of 2003, Cheng gained his release after 28 months of unlawful detention in a forced labour camp. In the autumn of 2004, he was arrested again. The police beat him cruelly and he thus became disfigured. Subsequently, Cheng was transferred to a brainwashing centre and then to a forced labour camp for a 3-year term. Mr. Cheng was tortured until he was in a critical condition. In May 2004, his family members carried him home. However, he was brain damaged and his mind was not clear. He died on January 11, 2005. -
Ms. Liu Baoying, A Guizhou Province Practitioner In Her Fifties, Died as a Result of Persecution in 2001
2005-01-2851 year old Guizhou Province practitioner Ms. Liu Baoying suffered tremendously both mentally and physically due to persecution inflicted by the neighbourhood committee. The neighbourhood committee also mentally isolated Ms. Liu Baoying. They didn't allow other people to talk with her, and threatened them if they tried. They slandered Ms. Liu, telling others that she was a bad person.Her suffering led to relapses of old illnesses. She gradually became very skinny, and died unjustly on February 23, 2001. -
A Death Due to Persecution: What I Learned at Beijing's Dongcheng Detention Centre
2005-01-28"I was arrested and sent to a Detention Centre in Beijing.Once I was shifted to another cell, and found my cellmate to be an elderly lady (a criminal) from Inner Mongolia Province. On October 21, 2001, a Falun Dafa practitioner was tortured to death. That practitioner had only been imprisoned for a few days and the elderly lady was imprisoned with her. The practitioner was on a hunger strike. Nobody knew her name or where she came from. On October 21, 2001, she was dragged out of the cell and force-fed by police at the detention centre. She never came back." -
Cruel Treatment of Practitioners at Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2005-01-28Because she persisted in practising Falun Gong, Ms Jia Quanmei was locked up in a solitary confinement cell over 40 days in early 2004. She was forced to stand and deprived of sleep. She was handcuffed extremely tight until her bones were nearly exposed. After she was released from the solitary confinement cell, Jia Quanmei became very weak. She was then locked separately in a room with two criminal prisoners, monitoring her. Under the instigation of a guard, a criminal pressed Jia Quanmei's head into a commode and forced her to drink urine. -
50 Something Mr. Hu Weiping from Hunan Province, Died Recently As a Result of State Security Police Brutality
2005-01-27Mr. Hu Weiping, an employee of Hengyang City Petroleum Company in Hunan Province, was a kindhearted person. On the afternoon of April 16, 2004, officers from the Hengyang City State Security Unit broke into his home and abducted him. He was handcuffed and hung up, viciously beaten, and force-fed unknown toxic substances as the officers tried to pressure him to give up his belief. On December 27, 2004, he died from complications of injuries he sustained during a beating by the state security police. -
Dalian City Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province -- Deceptive, Wicked and Violent
2005-01-27The new regulations for the officials that were formulated in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp in July, 2003 state that, "No one is allowed to beat, swear, physically punish, or insult at will the people who are being reeducated through forced labour in the camp." However, the opposite is in fact enforced. The guards regard the practitioners' lives as worthless while they pursue their bonuses, reputations, and benefits. -
Torture Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Shijiazhang City's Beijiao Prison
2005-01-27Mr. Shi Yan was unjustly sentenced to 11 years and detained in Shijiazhuang City's Beijiao Prison. In order to extort a confession from him, the police violently beat him. He was locked onto a metal chair for over 40 days. One a day in October 2003, a prisoner beat him on the chest, which caused him serious internal injuries. The prison guards witnessed him vomiting blood. This is one case from a long list of victims tortured in the prison because they practise Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. -
Middle-Aged and Elderly Falun Gong Practitioners Ms Xu Xiuzhi, MsCui Xueyi and Ms Wang Zongrong from Hebei Province Died in 2004 as a Result of Persecution
2005-01-2648 year old Ms. Xu Xiuzhi, 50 something Mr. Cui Xueyi and 66 year old Ms. Wang Zongrong were all Falun Dafa practitioners from Hebei Province. They all believed in following the principles of Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance and were arrested, detained without lawful process and persecuted and harassed relentlessly, even after they were released. The tremendous pressure led to their unjust deaths. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Dr. Li Huiyun Suffers a Mental Disorder from Being Tortured
2005-01-26Dr. Li Huiyun, 41 years old, was an assistant professor at the Hebei Technology University in Hebei Province. Officials from the "610 Office" and her employer forced her into the "Hebei Law Education Training Centre" to be brainwashed because she practised Falun Gong . At the centre, Dr. Li was severely persecuted until she developed symptoms of a mental disorder. She was then illegally sent to a forced labour camp where she was involuntarily hospitalized. In November of 2004, while Dr. Li was still detained in the hospital, her workplace fired her. -
The Guards of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp are Losing Hope and the Evil Persecution is Coming to an End
2005-01-26Practitioners who have just been released from Masanjia Forced Labour Camp brought us the latest news about the camp situation. Within the short time between December of 2004 and the beginning of 2005, more than two hundred practitioners wrote a "solemn declaration" and announced that the "transformation" forced upon them through brainwashing was invalid, and began to practise Falun Gong again. These huge changes in Masanjia demonstrate a new trend in the persecution. -
The Brutality of Wangcun Forced Labour Camp
2005-01-26From September to October 2000, Jiang Zemin's regime sent many Falun Gong practitioners from Shandong Province to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp for persecution. In a meeting with practitioners, a police leader said openly, "It is our job to persecute you. You are the subjects of our dictatorship." There is a room in the camp is a room for electric shock torture, equipped with many electric batons. When nine practitioners were brought there for torture, the police stripped off their clothes. Then they handcuffed them to a steel pole that was fixed to the floor. More than a dozen policemen took turns to shock them. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Yu Shufen from Hebei Province, Passed Away in 2002 due to Harassment and Abuse
2005-01-25Ms. Yu Shufen lived in Hebei Province. She was in good mental and physical health ever since she began practising Falun Gong. Authorities targeted her after the national persecution began on July 20, 1999 and they persecuted her severely for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2001. The 610 Office destroyed her home, breaking all the windows in all five rooms. The relentless harassment and abuse caused Ms. Yu Shufen to suffer a mental collapse and pass away in 2002.
