Ms. Yao Guizhi Sent to Forced Labour for Telling People About the Facts and Wonderfulness of Dafa

Before practising Falun Dafa, Ms. Yao Guizhi's health had deteriorated. One day in 2003, a Falun Dafa practitioner told her, "If you recite 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forberance is good' and 'Falun Dafa is good 'you will receive blessings, and your health will recover." Ms. Yao followed the advice, and her health truly recovered. It was then that she began to cultivate Dafa. Because of the benefits Falun Dafa brought to her, Ms. Yao told many people about the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa. Ms. Yao was arrested while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution at the beginning of 2006. She was sentenced to 18 months of forced labour and sent to Kaiping Forced Labour Camp. -
Former Senior Police Officer Zhang Yun Brutally Tortured in Luquan City Prison in Hebei Province
2006-12-31Ms. Zhang Yun, a 51-year-old senior police officer, has been put in Luquan City Prison because of her steadfast belief in Falun Dafa. The guards tied her up and forced her to kneel on the floor. They twisted her arms and pulled them straight back, forcing them up towards her head. The pain almost caused Zhang Yun to pass out. Then as they continued to wrap the rope around and around from her shoulders down, they kept tightening the rope and asking her if she would sign the guarantee statement to renounce Falun Dafa. Zhang Yun refused to give in while enduring the excruciating pain. Those who have been in labour camps have heard about how terrible this rope binding could be. When the rope is loosened, circulation can return so rapidly that weaker hearts are unable to take and this can cause death. -
Ms. Sun Yanfang, a Teacher in Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, Imprisoned
2006-12-31Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Yanfang, a teacher, has been imprisoned many times for practising Falun Dafa. In September 2006, when she went to the 610 Office to file a complaint, she was arrested and detained in Acheng City's First Detention Centre, where she was terribly tortured and placed in handcuffs and shackles. Therefore, she went on a hunger strike shouting, "Falun Dafa is good!" Acheng City Hospital sent over a team of medical personnel and monitors to force-feed Ms. Sun Yanfang causing her to become extremely skinny. On November 21st, Sun Yanfang received the Court's judgement: a three-year term of imprisonment. -
Older Ms. Xiao Huiqing Taken to a Brainwashing Session After Three Years in a Forced Labour Camp
2006-12-31Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Huiqing, in her fifties, is an elementary school teacher. On November 28th, 2003, she gave one of her students a leaflet exposing the persecution. She was reported and sentenced to three years of forced labour. Her term ended on November 28th, 2006, but officials to the Erequan Brainwashing Session. -
Party Officials in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, Followed Ms. Wen Huiying for a Long Time
2006-12-31Party officials followed practitioner Ms. Wen Huiying between the end of 2001 and November 2006. Officials ordered Ms. Wen’s workplace to send her to a brainwashing centre in the autumn of 2003 but this never happened. One day in early December 2005, police officers went to Wen Huiying’s home. They knocked on her door, but she refused to open. The next day three people from the factory's Security Section again harassed her at home. -
Retired Geologist Persecuted for Practising Falun Gong
2006-12-30Ms. Geng Liang, 67 years old, is retired from the Prospecting Research Institute of China Coal Field Geology Bureau. Prospecting Research Institute Security Section Chief came to Ms. Geng's father's home and arrested her, and then she was detained in a special prison set up just for brainwashing Falun Gong practitioners. She suffered from brainwashing and mental torture. Police also forced the top officials of the Prospecting Research Institute to write guarantee letters to prevent Ms. Geng from appealing, and if they refused to do so, the officials were threatened with fines and the loss of their jobs. -
What Ms. Li Kemei Encountered in Linyi City, Shandong Province
2006-12-30Practitioner Ms. Li Kemei, 51 years old, was very weak with many illnesses before she learned Falun Gong. Since she started practising Falun Gong in 2002, she miraculously became healthy. Ms. Li explained the truth of Falun Dafa through her own, personal experience. She told everyone that, "Falun Dafa saved me." Because of this, she was arrested in 2004 and sentenced to three years of forced labour. She was persecuted until she became mentally disordered, so she had to be released in September 2005. She was arrested again in October 2006 for posting leaflets exposing the persecution. -
Ms. Song Ping from Shenzhen Imprisoned Again After Serving Unjust Five-year Sentence
2006-12-30On October 30th, in order to find a job in Shenzhen, practitioner Ms. Song Ping, who had been imprisoned for five years went to the local police station to obtain an ID. The police arrested her. It is believed that Ms. Song is now being held in the Shenzhen Brainwashing Centre. In June 2001, because Ms. Song distributed leaflets exposing the persecution in Nanjing, she had been arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. She was released in July 2006. -
Elderly Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Longying's Hand Fractured by Policemen
2006-12-30On November 5th, 2006, policemen barged into the home of Dafa practitioner Ms Gao Longying. A policeman slapped Gao Longying in the face and ransacked her home. At the police station they interrogated her about the whereabouts of the machine for making leaflets exposing the persecution. Since she refused to answer they hung Gao Longying up from a window. They fractured the bones in her hand. One policeman said, "We will hang you up again if you do not give us answers." -
Practitioner Lin Shixiong from Yanji City, Jilin Province Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-12-29Lin Shixiong was a manager of the Mitsubishi Repair Division in Yanji City, Jilin Province. He had a happy family and a career many people admired. However, during the seven-year persecution, he almost lost everything he owned. The CCP regime sentenced him to thirteen years in prison with fabricated charges. When he was confined in the Jilin Prison, he was forced to give up the management rights of the factory he had built from scratch, was made to divorce his wife and gave up custody of his child. Mr. Lin was sent to the Jilin Prison. He passed away around November 20th, 2006 as a result of persecution. -
Persecuted in Beijing, Practitioner Mr. Yang Guangyu Fled to Thailand
2006-12-29Practitioner Mr. Yang Guangyu, 50 years old, lived in Beijing. He was brutally persecuted for a long time for practising Falun Gong. His family has been living in constant fear since the persecution began on July 20th, 1999. His wife subsequently divorced him, and his teenage son suffered a heavy mental blow. Yang Guangyu fled to Thailand on April 2nd, 2006, and sought help from the United Nations Refugee Agency. -
Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Wang Bing at Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City
2006-12-29Seven police people broke into Ms. Wang Bing’s home and ransacked it. They took mobile phones, computers and other things worth about 10,000 yuan. They sent both practitioners to Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp on April 30th, 2006. Ms. Wang went on a hunger strike to protest the detention and was force-fed many times, which caused severe stomach injury and profuse bleeding. Her life was in danger, and she was sent to the Jilin Province Prison Hospital. -
Practitioner Ms. Chen Yachun Arrested by Public Security Bureau in Beizhen, Liaoning Province
2006-12-29On the evening of October 25th, 2006, Ms. Chen was suddenly arrested for practising Falun Dafa by local police. Later, Ms. Chen's family repeatedly went to the local police station to request her release but they were not allowed to even visit her. On November 2nd, Ms. Chen Yachun's mother went to the police station to speak out for justice. Not only did the police refuse to listen to her, they also locked her in a room, forbade her from speaking, and kicked and punched her. -
Ms. Lu Zhongqin, 56, from Heilongjiang Province Recounts the Persecution She Suffered
2006-12-28In order to awaken the local police and officials, I wrote and mailed letters to explain the facts about Falun Dafa to them. Police came to my family-run restaurant to check my handwriting to determine if the letters sent to them were from me. My home phone was tapped and I was monitored. I was asked to sign in with them every day. I refused, and the local police rushed to my restaurant to harass me. One policeman said, "If you don't listen to me, we'll arrest you." My whole family was made to live in fear and couldn't even sleep well. -
Huang Jingxian and His Wife Are Persecuted in Guangdong Province
2006-12-28Practitioner Mr. Huang Jiangxian and his wife have been persecuted since July 1999. His wife has been forced into homelessness, while Mr. Huang has been imprisoned in a forced labour camp. He once tried to escape on the way to a hospital. Policemen caught him and beat him severely. They stepped on his face and pressed it against the cement floor, which caused a cut of four centimetres.
