    On Dec. 12th 2005, during the visit of Luo Gan, former Secretary of Political and Legal Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, Coordinator of the Office for the Control of Falun Gong (6/10 Office), to Argentina, the Association of Falun Dafa in Argentina filed a lawsuit against Luo Gan for torture and genocide of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
  • Ireland: Protest at the Chinese Embassy in Dublin

    On Saturday 27th March, Falun Gong practitioners from Ireland were joined by practitioners from UK to peacefully protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Dublin. A poster board informed passers by about the human rights abuses that are inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

    Former Danish MP Mr. Ole Gerström went to see Shen Yun in Aarhus on April 2, 2010, and took some time to discuss his impressions about the show and share some thoughts about traditional Chinese culture. Mr. Gerström said he was happy to see so many Danes present to witness what he called "a message" from traditional Chinese culture.
  • France: Rally to Support Seventy Million People Quitting the Chinese Communist Party

    On March 28, 2010, the French Global Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) held a rally at Human Rights Square (Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme) at Palais de Chaillot in Paris. The rally called on people from around the world to support the seventy million brave Chinese people who have chosen to quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations.

  • Shen Yun Moves Ireland with Its Cultural Depth

    Senator Norris said he found a positive message in the show, in particular, "about spiritual values and against the sort of complete materialism that affects not just communist China and atheist regimes like that, but fully materialistic regimes like we have here in Europe. All we think about is money... maybe we will find a few spiritual values again."
  • Mayor of South Dublin: "I recommend this show universally"

    The Mayor of South Dublin, District Councillor Mick Duff was amazed with what he saw the evening of March 28 at Dublin's Grand Canal Theatre. "I have never had the privilege of seeing Chinese traditional music and dance as we have seen tonight. It was beyond words, really incredible." Mr Duff was hopeful that Shen Yun will return to Ireland next year.

    Jutta Lenz, a psychiatrist and sports scientist, owner of a management-consulting firm, had bought a ticket to the show after seeing the beautifully dressed dancers in the advertisements. "The show is superb. I am thrilled to be here. I have never seen such perfection. Excellent," she said. "The dances were very impressive."

    Antonia Frick, President of the Foundation Liechtenstein, and her sister attended Shen Yun's opening Austria performance on March 23. "I loved the show. What impressed me most was the depiction of heavens and the worldly realm. It was absolutely fantastic... I was amazed by everything I saw," said Ms. Frick.

  • France: Chinese Tourist Appears in Court for Assaulting a "Quit the CCP Service Center" Volunteer

    At one point, a group of Chinese tourists verbally abused Mr Cheng. One of them assaulted Mr. Cheng with a large stone, hitting Mr Cheng on the head and leaving him with a five-centimetre-long wound that came close to his eye. The assailant then overturned the table with materials and speakers on it before being arrested.
