    Many people surrounded the small table on which practitioners folded paper lotus flowers. Practitioners folded lotus flowers as they explained how innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China were persecuted. A little girl would not leave until her mother signed the petition supporting an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

    On May 10th, local media in Furth im Wald, a small city in Bavaria, reported a photographic exhibition depicting the phenomenon of Falun Gong.Koetzting Daily published a story entitled "Pictures make people think about the dark side of China. Falun Gong photo exhibition at municipal hall touches the people; Go see it."

    After meeting with Falun Gong practitioners during a three-day investigatory trip to Beijing, McMillan-Scott was convinced that, despite a huge increase of foreign trade relations, the human rights situation in China - and particularly the repression of religious and spiritual groups including Falun Gong, haven't changed in the least, and expressed his admiration for them. "Today in China religious movements demonstrate [...] courage, they are giving the lead [in the quest for freedom], they inspire those hundreds of millions enslaved by the CCP".
  • Czech Republic: Seminar on Human Rights in China

    Since 1999, people practising Falun Gong have been detained in forced labour camps and concentration camps where they are inhumanly tortured. According to witnesses who decided to talk openly to the public and gave interviews to the Epoch Times newspaper, in these camps, the organs from living practitioners are being harvested for transplants. Practitioners are then thrown directly into the incinerator to cover all the evidence. All the detained people are marked with numbers, just as the Jews in the Nazi concentration camps.

    In the noisy crowd, our stand was a peaceful area; practitioners demonstrated the five exercises to people. Many people stopped and watched, and asked for information about exercise classes. When some people received flyers about the persecution of the practitioners in China, they said they would like do their best to help stop this persecution.

  • The “Tagesspiegel” (Germany): Death and Games

    Berlin: An Olympic medallist participated recently in a hunger strike, because of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Martin Rubenis, who was awarded the bronze metal in Turin Italy for his figure skating performance, joined a protest event outside the Chinese Consulate in Riga Latvia three weeks ago. This was a short-term hunger strike by the spiritual group Falun Gong because their members are suffering cruel repression in China.
  • France: The French People Strongly Condemn CCP Organ Harvesting

    French Falun Gong practitioners went to Convention metro station in Paris and revealed the evil deeds taking place in Chinese Communist Party labour camps. Many French citizens signed the petition to the French president, urging the French government to make an effort to rescue those Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted.
  • Italy: Exposing CCP Atrocities to Delegates at the International Conference on Liver Transplant Technology

    From May 4th - 6th, 2006, an international liver transplant technology exchange meeting was held in Milan. The participants were famous surgeons and professors from countries all over the world. Falun Gong practitioners in Italy revealed to the participants the Chinese Communist Party's act of stealing and selling Falun Gong practitioners' organs.

    Falun Gong practitioners in Germany’s Bayern State took advantage of warm weather to expose the inside stories of the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution against Falun Gong and the atrocities of harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs.
  • Turkey: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose CCP Atrocities at an Agriculture and Livestock Fair

    On May 18th, an Agriculture and Livestock Fair was held in Mersin, in the south of Turkey, which was organised by the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Nearly a hundred companies and enterprises from all over the country attended this fair. At the fair, Falun Gong practitioners visited each participating unit and gave them leaflets.
  • Russia: Press conference in St. Petersburg Exposes the CCP Crimes in Concentration Camps

    Those present at the news conference included St. Petersburg human rights activists, representatives of the city government, historians, and representatives of social groups. Reporters of Summit Hours, a well-known newspaper in Russia, and a local newspaper also attended the news conference.
  • Germany: People in Ulm Sign a Petition Condemning CCP Brutality

    Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in downtown Ulm to expose the CCP's harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. It was a weekend, so a lot of citizens and tourists passed by. Practitioners displayed banners and photos, which exposed the truth of the CCP's persecution.
  • Czech Republic: The CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong Shocks Teachers and Students

    On April the 9th 2006, Czech Falun Gong practitioners were invited again by Balon Normal College to introduce the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to students who are going to graduate soon. In this class, students understood that Falun Gong is an ancient cultivation method originating from China, based on the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance”, and benefits people’s health in body and mind. As a result a great number of Chinese people practise Falun Gong. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has brutally persecuted Falun Gong since 1999 and over 2,800 practitioners have lost their lives.
