  • UK MP Supports the Rescue of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners

    Mr. Robinson said: “They are put in jail only for their belief, which is harmless to others. It is wrong to persecute them. This is actually not just an issue of Falun Gong practitioner’s rights. It’s about everybody’s rights. Everyone has the right to seek justice and impartiality. From this point on, I’m glad to be taking part in this. I feel that I must do something about this. Today, the signature collecting for this petition is completed. However, we will never stop calling on the public to condemn this brutal persecution.”
  • Sweden: Taking Part in Iranian New Year Celebrations

    In order to promote Falun Gong and expose the persecution against the practice in Mainland China, practitioners in Gothenburg took part in celebration activities for the Iranian New Year on March 15th. Practitioners distributed brochures and beautiful paper lotus flowers. Owing to many people coming from the Iranian community, they also gave out brochures in Iranian.
  • Western Media Pay Attention to the Contract Renewal between NTDTV and the French Satellite Communication Company

    Dynasty TV and the French satellite communication Company Eutelsat is now a point of concern for the western media. The Wall Street Journal Europe featured an editorial article with the title “New Tang Dynasty TV Station causes a commotion” on 16th March, criticising the French company for stopping the broadcast of NTDTV to Asian areas and pointing out that the Eutelsat Satellite Company, which has always boasted itself as upholding freedom of speech, is displaying double-standards
  • Eutelsat’s Termination of NTDTV's Transmission to China causes Public Outcry

    New York-based New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) and Reporters Without Borders held a joint press conference in Brussels on the afternoon of the 15th of March, condemning the European satellite operator Eutelsat’s decision not to renew the contract under which independent, Chinese-language broadcaster NTDTV uses Eutelsat satellites to broadcast to Asia and China.
  • Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition held outside the United Nations Building during the UN Human Rights Commission

    On the 14th of March, the annual United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) opened in Geneva. Dafa practitioners in Switzerland applied to hold an anti-torture exhibition in the afternoon of the 16th of March. They exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to the people taking part in the UNHRC.
  • Ukraine: “The Journey of Compassion” Exhibition receives Public Support

    Ukrainian practitioners held a painting exhibition in the Slavic City Library. Visitors took a deep interest in Falun Gong and asked questions to find out more about the persecution against practitioners in China. Those who came to understand the facts were shocked by the severity of the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party.
  • United Kingdom: Media and Public Support for the First Anti-Torture Exhibition in Belfast

    On March 4th and 5th, Falun Gong practitioners from Scotland, England and Ireland held an anti-torture exhibition in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. Before holding the exhibition, practitioners sent out an invitation letter to all UK MPs, MEPs, libraries, police stations, city councillors and some other non-governmental organisations.
  • Sweden: Activities in Mora in during a World Famous Ski Race

    Mora is home to the Vasaloppet, a famous annual ski race that attracts more than 400,000 spectators. Practitioners held activities to let people know more about Falun Gong and the persecution. They were shocked to know that in China today there are millions who are being persecuted just because they are trying to live by Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.
  • Bulgaria: Libraries in the City of Sofia got 139 Copies of “Falun Gong”

    Bulgarian practitioners gave 139 copies of the introductory book Falun Gong in Bulgarian language to the Central Library in Sofia. The library will distribute the books to 121 community centre libraries in the capital city of Bulgaria, as well as in 18 libraries in the surrounding district.
  • NTDTV Launches Legal Action Against the Eutelsat Satellite Company for cancelling their China Broadcast Contract

    The Epoch Times reported on March 16th that media lobbyists and European Union MEPs supported the independent station New Tang Dynasty TV in launching legal action against the Eutelsat satellite company, because Eutelsat was going to stop broadcasting NTDTV programmes to China. The International Journalists Union said Eutelsat has bowed to pressure from Beijing and was going to refuse the renewal of the contract to broadcast NTDTV’s programmes to China.
  • Sweden: Photo Report - A Weekend of Studying the Fa and Practising the Exercises Together

    Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden gathered in Gothenburg and spent a pleasant weekend together. They practised the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and studied the teachings of Falun Dafa. They shared their understandings of cultivating their hearts and minds through practising Falun Dafa and also talked about the efforts they have been making to expose and end the persecution.
  • Statement by International Educational Development (IED) to the UN Commission on Human Rights Regarding Human Rights in China

    "IED urges all States to take far more decisive action to protect Falun Gong practitioners in their own countries from direct or indirect persecution and to stop the intimidation by Chinese authorities or their agents of Falun Gong practitioners, media outlets, commercial enterprises, schools and universities or any another facility. Diplomats who participate should be required to leave their posts. States should make all aspects of their bi-lateral relationships with China contingent on stopping the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and on an over-all significant improvement in human rights."
  • Denmark: Promoting Falun Gong at the Aarhus Health Expo

    Practitioners from Denmark went to Aarhus to take part in the expo and help people learn more about Falun Gong. This was the third time that practitioners have joined this expo. They prepared materials in Danish, English and Chinese, such as leaflets and video-CDs. They were surprised by the keen interest of the public, as many people came to find out more about Falun Gong.

  • I Wish More People would Discover the Benefits of Falun Gong Practice

    I was lucky to find Falun Gong. Within a month of learning the exercises, my condition began to improve. I felt that my uncomfortable body recovered a little after every practice session. The effect was even better each time I could follow Falun Gong’s principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance through handling conflicts with others well.
