Falun Gong Appeal Headlines Czech TV News

On the 5th of February, an appeal in Hradec Kralove was visited by regional TV reporters, who came to shoot some footage and interview the practitioners. The report was broadcast that same evening in all three of the station’s news broadcasts and in a repeat the next day. The report on the Falun Gong activity was actually the first feature in that day’s news programme, so hundreds of thousands people who tuned in to watch the news got to learn about Falun Gong‘s appeal to stop the persecution in China. -

Hundreds of practitioners from all over Europe held a parade through Paris. The parade featured a waist drum formation, fan dancing, lotus flower dancing, practitioners dressed in the costumes of celestial beings such as heavenly warriors and beauties scattering flowers, a float with costumes from China’s most prosperous Tang Dynasty period and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration. -
Holland: Practitioners were Invited to Demonstrate Falun Gong Exercises to a Church Congregation

A priest invited Dutch Falun Gong practitioners to introduce the practice and demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises in an Amsterdam church. After listening to the practitioners’ talk, one lady stated that she would never believe the lies of the Chinese Communist regime again. Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong at Helsjön College
2005-02-22I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I’m studying Music in Helsjön College, 70km southwest of Gothenburg. There are about 120 students in the school and lots of them are Christian, so I had the chance to talk about spiritual issues with them. They were curious about Falun Gong. I provided them with some information and now I run an exercise class every Thursday before lunch. Students come to learn the exercises, and also hear about the persecution. -

The re-enactments of the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs helped many people see the terrible crimes committed under orders from the former Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin. -
Germany: Western Practitioners in Passau City continued to Raise Awareness about the Persecution, Despite the Rain

On the afternoon of the 11th of February 2005, on behalf of Falun Gong practitioners, Lawyer Fabrice Orlandi filed a legal petition to the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris. The petition requested a comprehensive investigation into the incident on January 2004, in which, bowing to the pressure from the Chinese communist regime, French police harassed Falun Gong practitioners. -

Finnish Newspaper Kaleva: Hundreds of Harassing Phone Calls Target Finnish Falun Gong Practitioners
2005-02-20Starting from February 6, Falun Gong practitioners from countries all over the world became the target of a Chinese Government phone harassment campaign. In Finland and other countries of Europe, as well as in the United States and Canada, practitioners’ home, work and mobile phones received continuous pre-recorded phone calls. The content of the recordings was identical to the propaganda that Jiang Zemin and his cohorts have used as a part of their persecution campaign against Falun Gong. -
Ukrainian People’s Messages of Support from a Falun Dafa Painting Exhibition
2005-02-19On January 22nd, Ukrainian Falun Dafa practitioners held a very successful painting exhibition entitled “The Journey of Compassion”. Many people learned the truth about Falun Dafa through attending this exhibition; they offered support by signing their names on a petition to support Falun Dafa and leaving a message in the guest book. This guest book will carry the blessings of the Ukrainian people and travel with the painting exhibition throughout the entire country. This article features some of the messages that were left by the Ukraine people.
