French Officials Send Messages of Support for a Falun Gong Parade in Paris: "We fully support your actions for freedom."
2005-02-14On the weekend of the 12th and 13th of February, European Falun Gong practitioners held a large-scale parades in Paris. These parades celebrated traditional Chinese culture and Chinese New Year, as well as helping people to learn more about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution that is taking place in China at the moment. European and U.S. Governments Take Notice of Harassing Phone Calls Made to Falun Gong Practitioners
2005-02-14During the time of the 2005 Chinese New Year, many Falun Gong practitioners in Asia, Europe, the United States, Australia and other parts of the world received anonymous phone calls. Most of the phone calls could not be traced, but some practitioners' caller ID programs showed the calls originating in Mainland China. At present, police authorities in many countries have commenced an investigation. -
Czech Newspapers Report on a Falun Gong Activity in Zlin
2005-02-14On the 1st of February, Falun Gong practitioners from the Czech Republic visited the city of Zlin and held an activity in the Square of Peace. Many people in Zlin were interested in learning to practise Falun Gong. Journalists from three newspapers attended the appeal and interviewed practitioners. United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution by the River Thames in London

Sweden: Stories from the Appeal at the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg
2005-02-13Over the last five years, since Jiang Zemin launched the persecution against Falun Gong, practitioners have been at the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg appealing for an end to the suffering of the innocent people who practise Falun Gong in China. In an attempt to conceal their violations of human rights and of China’s own constitution, the consulate has now taken action to limit the peaceful appeals. Practitioners received support from politicians and the media, who published several supportive articles exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s attempts to deny people their fundamental human rights. -

German Practitioners Received Pre-recorded Harassing Phone Calls from the Chinese Communist Party in an Attempt to Incite Hatred Against Falun Gong
2005-02-12Falun Gong practitioners in Germany received pre-recorded phone calls in Chinese and English on February 6th 2005. The content was fake news concocted by the Chinese Communist Government about the Tiananmen self-immolation intending to spread propaganda about Falun Gong. Both German and Chinese practitioners have received the phone calls and others of a similar nature. -
Sweden: Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm to Draw Attention to the Escalated Persecution in China
2005-02-12Practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm to draw attention to the escalating persecution in China. More than 170 deaths have been reported since the beginning of this year. It is now more than a month since the 200 Falun Gong practitioners in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province started their hunger strike and they are now in danger. -
Germany: First Anti-Torture Exhibition in Heidelberg Demonstrates the Persecution Against Chinese Falun Gong Practitioners

This is the latest tactic in the campaign of the Chinese authorities to extend its persecution of the peaceful and popular Chinese practice of Falun Gong abroad and is aimed at intimidating overseas practitioners and their families. Homes across Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia and even Sri Lanka have been targeted. -

Sweden: Celebrating Falun Dafa Day in Lerum
2005-02-10Sunday 30th of January was the third annual Falun Dafa Day in Lerum. A lot of shops close on Sundays so the practitioners met outside the Water Palace where there is a big swimming pool, gym and healthcare facilities. Lots of people passed by this area, took leaflets and waited in a queue to sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution. -
Latvia: Appealing for an Immediate End to the Persecution at the Chinese Embassy
2005-02-09Latvian Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy to appeal for an immediate end to the inhumane persecution happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China. Between 200,000 and 1 million have been illegally sent to forced labour camps without trials where human rights workers have documented over 38,000 specific cases of torture or severe abuse. -
Czech Newspaper Rovnost: Falun Gong Practitioners in Znojmo Inform the Public about the Violent Persecution
2005-02-09People who were passing through the centre of Znojmo today witnessed an uncommon scene. Three men in meditation positions were performing the Chinese practice of Falun Gong. This silent protest was to raise awareness about the brutal persecution of practitioners of this method in distant China. Their fellow practitioners were distributing material informing the public about and describing the shocking methods of torture that the Chinese police utilise against Falun Gong practitioners.
