  • Media in Brno Continue to Report on the Persecution Against Falun Gong

    In the centre of Brno, a several-hour-long activity was held to show the kind of torture being waged against people who practise Falun Gong in China. Organisers of this event wanted to raise awareness about the inhuman torture Falun Gong practitioners in China are exposed to and also introduce the Falun Gong practice to the public.
  • European Practitioners Parade Through Central London: Falun Gong is Spreading All Over the World

    The parade was based on three themes. The first theme signified the spread of Falun Gong throughout the world, the second depicted the persecution which is happening in China and the third brought to the public notice the lawsuits launched against Jiang Zemin and his accomplices.
  • EFGIC: 140 Falun Gong Deaths in China Reported in Two Months despite On-going Cover-up

    LONDON [EFGIC]– In November and December 2004, sources inside China confirmed the deaths of another 140 Falun Gong practitioners from state persecution. Former Chinese Communist leader Jiang Zemin initiated the campaign against the peaceful practice in 1999, declaring that, “The Communist Party must defeat Falun Gong.” The 140 cases collected during the two-month period are of Falun Gong practitioners who were killed over several years. Due to China’s information blockade, however, their stories were only revealed recently.
  • Finnish Practitioners Take Part in the Large scale Events in London to Raise Awareness about the Persecution

    We participated in the waist drum practice ready for the parade. Some media reporters came to interview us during the practice; they took a lot of notes and some pictures of us for about an hour and a half. At the end of the large-scale parade through central London on January 15th, we sincerely gave our thanks to the policemen who directed the traffic.

    LONDON– This Sunday, January 23, 2005, will mark four years since five individuals allegedly set themselves on fire in Beijing's Tiananmen Square. Beginning just hours after the incident and continuing to this day, China's Ministry of Propaganda has produced an onslaught of hate propaganda claiming the immolators were Falun Gong practitioners – all in an attempt to justify the violent suppression of the practice started in July 1999 by then-Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to hold a Seminar at Southampton University

    In the afternoon of the 12th of January 2005, after receiving an invitation from Amnesty International of Southampton University (AISU), Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held a seminar dedicated to the subject of Falun Gong for members of AISU. Using videos as an introduction, practitioners explained to the audience what exactly Falun Gong is.
  • France: Teaching a Disabled Young Man the Falun Gong Exercises

    We communicated very well. He fully learned and remembered the first exercise. At the end, I realised that his movements had improved a lot under the effect of good energy and compassion. Then I showed him the second exercise. He could hold every position for a good few minutes. When the exercises were about to finish, the sky was already fully light. We shook hands together. The atmosphere was very happy and peaceful.
  • Radio France Internationale: The Premier of Canada Asks the Chinese Government to Provide an Explanation for Revoked Visas

    The Canadian Prime Minister demanded that China provides an explanation for the cancellation of two Canadian reporters’ visas. China approved the visas initially for the two journalists, but dismissed the applications later. Both journalists were reporters of New Tang Dynasty TV and were gearing up for joining the reporters group with Prime Minister Martin. In fact, they had received the approved visas, which were recalled later. Martin told a reporter, “It was a serious matter for us. Freedom of speech and journalism are our values and principles. We have been in negotiations regarding this incident with the Chinese Embassy in Canada.”

    On January 15th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from various places in Europe came to Chinatown to expose the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to overseas Chinese and tourists from all over the world.

  • Spanish Newspaper "The State" Reports on Falun Gong Anti-Torture Exhibition

    On January 9th, “The State” newspaper published a photo showing the anti-torture exhibition demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners. The report revealed the practitioners displayed and exposed the various torture methods inflicted on their fellow practitioners in China. According to their introduction, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have died of torture in Chinese prisons and labour camps.
  • Russia: Gathering in Moscow to Appeal for an End the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Russian practitioners gathered in the plaza next to the ITAR-TASS building to appeal to the Chinese Government to end the persecution of Falun Gong. They hung banners reading “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” and “Falun Dafa is Good” and displayed some huge posters showing that Falun Dafa is practised in more than sixty countries.
  • European Falun Gong Practitioners form a Great Wall of Courage at Leicester Square

    On Saturday 15th January, several hundred Falun Gong practitioners from about 20 european countries held a parade in central London to show how Falun Gong is practised in over 60 countries worldwide and to expose the human rights abuses against Chinese practitioners carried out by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and his wicked regime.

    On January 15th, Falun Dafa practitioners from Europe and all over the world gathered in London to take part in various activities organised to give the people of London a chance to find out about Falun Dafa and the horrific persecution taking place in China. One such activity was to stage a peaceful appeal across the road from the Chinese Embassy in London.
  • Spanish Newspaper "Europa Press" Reports on an Anti-torture Exhibition in Madrid

    On the morning of January the 8th, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners at Puerto del Sol in the centre of Madrid acted out the torture methods which have been commonly employed by the Chinese Jiang group to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in prisons and forced labour camps since it started to implement its policy of genocide against Falun Gong in 1999.
