European Practitioners Parade Through Central London: Exposing the Genocide Against Falun Gong in China
2005-01-26On January 15th 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from various European countries gathered in Whitehall, home of the British Prime Minister, to begin a parade through central London. Spain’s State Radio Station Interviews a Falun Gong Practitioner in their Peak-Time Show
2005-01-25Near the end of the interview, the famous presenter Andres Aberasturi said to the Falun Gong practitioner, “Thank you very much for letting us have a close look at Falun Gong. Eastern European Falun Gong Practitioners Join the Activities in London
2005-01-25During the 2005 European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in London, practitioners from Eastern Europe could be seen all over the place, no matter whether it was in the parade, along the Great Wall of Courage, at the various small information points in London or in the pouring rain in Chinatown. Many of them had to overcome economic or other difficulties before they were able to attend the activities in London.

2005-01-24Facing the street with bumper-to-bumper traffic or the pavement with bustling pedestrians, the practitioners held various posters and banners to quietly expose the facts about Falun Gong to passers-by. Some peacefully demonstrated the five sets of exercises, while others greeted passers-by with kind smiles and handed them flyers, as well as newspapers.

Media in Brno Continue to Report on the Persecution Against Falun Gong
2005-01-24In the centre of Brno, a several-hour-long activity was held to show the kind of torture being waged against people who practise Falun Gong in China. Organisers of this event wanted to raise awareness about the inhuman torture Falun Gong practitioners in China are exposed to and also introduce the Falun Gong practice to the public.

EFGIC: 140 Falun Gong Deaths in China Reported in Two Months despite On-going Cover-up
2005-01-23LONDON [EFGIC]– In November and December 2004, sources inside China confirmed the deaths of another 140 Falun Gong practitioners from state persecution. Former Chinese Communist leader Jiang Zemin initiated the campaign against the peaceful practice in 1999, declaring that, “The Communist Party must defeat Falun Gong.” The 140 cases collected during the two-month period are of Falun Gong practitioners who were killed over several years. Due to China’s information blockade, however, their stories were only revealed recently.

Finnish Practitioners Take Part in the Large scale Events in London to Raise Awareness about the Persecution
2005-01-23We participated in the waist drum practice ready for the parade. Some media reporters came to interview us during the practice; they took a lot of notes and some pictures of us for about an hour and a half. At the end of the large-scale parade through central London on January 15th, we sincerely gave our thanks to the policemen who directed the traffic.

EFGIC: Chinese Communist Propaganda Continues to Find an Unwitting Audience in the West

Beginning just hours after the incident and continuing to this day, China's Ministry of Propaganda has produced an onslaught of hate propaganda claiming the immolators were Falun Gong practitioners – all in an attempt to justify the violent suppression of the practice started in July 1999 by then-Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.

France: Teaching a Disabled Young Man the Falun Gong Exercises
2005-01-22We communicated very well. He fully learned and remembered the first exercise. At the end, I realised that his movements had improved a lot under the effect of good energy and compassion. Then I showed him the second exercise. He could hold every position for a good few minutes. When the exercises were about to finish, the sky was already fully light. We shook hands together. The atmosphere was very happy and peaceful.

Radio France Internationale: The Premier of Canada Asks the Chinese Government to Provide an Explanation for Revoked Visas
2005-01-22The Canadian Prime Minister demanded that China provides an explanation for the cancellation of two Canadian reporters’ visas. China approved the visas initially for the two journalists, but dismissed the applications later. Both journalists were reporters of New Tang Dynasty TV and were gearing up for joining the reporters group with Prime Minister Martin. In fact, they had received the approved visas, which were recalled later. Martin told a reporter, “It was a serious matter for us. Freedom of speech and journalism are our values and principles. We have been in negotiations regarding this incident with the Chinese Embassy in Canada.”

Spanish Newspaper "The State" Reports on Falun Gong Anti-Torture Exhibition
2005-01-21On January 9th, “The State” newspaper published a photo showing the anti-torture exhibition demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners. The report revealed the practitioners displayed and exposed the various torture methods inflicted on their fellow practitioners in China. According to their introduction, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have died of torture in Chinese prisons and labour camps.
