Sweden: Falun Gong Participates in the Alternative Health Fair in Strömstad
2004-08-08On Saturday 10th, and Sunday 11th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden and Norway took part in the Alternative Health Fair in Strömstad.On both days, practitioners held a one hour introduction course. On the second day, the course had to be extended for an extra hour, because of the amount of people who were eager to learn the exercises. -
EFGIC: State Councillor Could Face Criminal Trial for Using China’s School System as Indoctrination and Persecution Centres
2004-08-07'LONDON [EFGIC]– State Councillor and former Minister of Education Ms. Chen Zhili will face criminal proceedings before a Tanzanian High Court where she has been sued for torture and extra judicial killings. The suit was filed on July 19 2004 against Chen while she was visiting several African nations. On Aug. 3, a Tanzanian judge gave the green light for a criminal trial to proceed against her.' -
Slovenian Ministry of Defence: "China should stop the senseless persecution of members of the Falun Gong movement"

United Kingdom: Anti-Torture Exhibition during Edinburgh Tattoo Draws Lots of Media and Public Attention
2004-08-07On the afternoon and evening of Friday the 6th of August, an anti-torture exhibition was held by Falun Gong practitioners in Edinburgh. This coincided with the world-renowned Edinburgh Military Tattoo event. The exhibition focused on a few of the hundreds of brutal torture methods used by the Jiang Regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Spain: Peaceful Appeal and Candlelight Vigil at the Chinese Embassy

Falun Gong Practitioner Jiang Xiao Feng who Studied in Ireland is Illegally Arrested in China and Sent to Zhangshi Forced Labour Camp
2004-08-07Jiang Xiao Feng is a practitioner from Shenyang. He studied in Ireland from 1998 to 2000. In May 2000, he went back to China. Recently we heard that he has been arrested and sent to Shenyang Zhangsi labour camp. Zhangsi labour camp is a very evil place and just as bad as Masanjia labour camp, Longshan labour camp, Guanshan labour camp and Dabei prison. They persecute practitioners in an extremely evil way. To this date, at least eleven practitioners have been persecuted to death there. -
Epoch Times: Trial of China's Former Education Minister Can Go Forward, Tanzanian Judge Rules
2004-08-07On August 3, 2004, a preliminary judgement by a judge in Tanzania's capital, Dar Es Salaam, cleared the way for a criminal trial of Chen Zhili, China's former Minister of Education. The affidavit, brought forward by Falun Gong practitioners in Ethiopia and supported by practitioners in many other countries, charges Chen Zhili with murder and torture of Chinese teachers and students who practice Falun Gong. -
Greece : Lawsuit Filed Against Chief Persecutors of Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-08-06At approximately 11am on August the 5th 2004, a criminal lawsuit was filed in Greece against Jiang Zemin, Li Lanqing and Luo Gan for their Crimes of Torture. This was followed by a press conference in Athens to let the public know about this step towards bringing the chief persecutors of Falun Gong to justice. The press conference was attended by both Greek and international media, and featured 3 plaintiffs from this lawsuit as well as several experts in the field of law and human rights. -

Why is my Passport Application Denied Because I want to be a Good Person?
2004-08-06Since I began practising Falun Dafa, I have received many physical and spiritual benefits. However, because I practise Falun Dafa and want to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance in my daily life, the Chinese Embassy in Hungary refuse to extend my passport application, making living and working very hard for me and my daughter. I hope they can stop following Jiang's orders to persecute innocent Falun Gong practitioners and stand up for what is right. -
Belgium: New Practitioners Meet in the Park to Practise Falun Gong Exercises and Study the Teachings Together
2004-08-06On July the 31st 2004, a meeting was organized for new practitioners in the city of Ghent. Over 20 practitioners, who all started Falun Gong recently, gathered in the park in the morning to practise the Falun Gong exercises together. After the practice, the group started reading the introductory text Falun Gong and discussed questions that came up during the reading. -
EFGIC: Tanzania - Judge Gives Green Light to Criminal Trial of Chinese State Councillor
2004-08-05'LONDON [EFGIC] – The historic legal action against Chen Zhili, a Member of the Chinese State Council, has taken a major step forward. The preliminary judgement in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, on August 3 was in favour of the Falun Gong practitioners in Ethiopia, on whose behalf attorneys brought the case. With the judge’s decision, the civil action has been concluded, clearing the way for a criminal trial. The case is now in the process of being moved to the Chief State Prosecutor’s office.' -
