UK: Several Stories from Activities in the City of Newcastle
2003-11-22On November the 15th and 16th, Dafa practitioners from Scotland and England held a weekend activity to spread Falun Gong and clarify the facts of the persecution in Middlesborough and Newcastle. During the activity, as well as letting more people know the truth about Falun Gong, practitioners made good use of the opportunity to study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts together. -

UK Member of Parliament Marris Writes to Wen Jiabao Urging Chinese Government to Release Falun Gong Practitioners
2003-11-21"On November 13 2003, UK Member of Parliament Marris wrote to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, urging the Chinese government to release Falun Gong practitioners unconditionally. Marris said in his letter, they are incarcerated solely because of their expression of their peacefully held belief. "I strongly urge the Chinese government to ensure that independent investigation is carried out into the allegations and released them unconditionally if the allegations are upheld." -
Several Scandinavian Newspapers Reprint and Cite News Issued by the Swedish Falun Gong Information Centre
2003-11-21In September and October, forty-four Falun Gong deaths from torture and abuse have occurred in China. A press release regarding this news was sent to the largest news agency in Sweden and Norway, via the Swedish Falun Gong Information Centre, which was reprinted by the agency. Several Scandinavian media oulets also reprinted or quoted the news that exposed the facts of the brutal persecution launched by Jiang and Luo. This aroused more condemnation for the persecution throughout Scandinavia. -

Germany: The People of Frankfurt Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang
2003-11-20Recently, practitioners from Frankfurt organised a photo exhibition to let people know the facts about the persecution and expose Jiang Zemin’s crimes of torture and genocide against Falun Gong. During the activity, pedestrians, tourists and Chinese citizens all carefully looked at the pictures and expressed their surprise at what is happening in China. Many passersby signed the petition to support the lawsuit. -
Sweden: Lerum City High School Students Learn Falun Gong
2003-11-20Two Swedish Falun Gong practitioners were invited by a high school in Lerum City to introduce Falun Gong. After the class, the students went to practitioners and asked for some truth clarifying materials. Many of them wanted to know about the free local classes where they could learn to practise Falun Gong. They left happily when practitioners promised to arrange a class for them. -
"Radio France Internationale" (RFI): Ten Thousand Falun Gong practitioners Assemble to Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin at the Taiwan Criminal Court
2003-11-20"According to a report from the Central News Agency in Taiwan, the Taiwanese Falun Dafa Association launched an assembly to support suing the Jiang regime for persecuting seven Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners. They will file a lawsuit charging the former Chinese president, Jiang Zemin, the former vice-Premier Li Lanqing and a member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Luo Gan, with the crime of genocide at the Taiwan High Court on the 17th of November." -

Sweden: Portraying the Evil Nature of the Persecution and Appealing for the Rescue of Charles Li and Other Practitioners
2003-11-19Recently, Swedish practitioners used their free time to peacefully appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Practitioners also expressed their support for the hundred Falun Gong practitioners who are on hunger strike in Jilin prison. -
Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Lerum
2003-11-19Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, distributed information about the practice and the persecution, and collected petition signatures calling for the rescue of American citizen Charles Li, who is currently being illegally detained and brainwashed in China. Many passers-by showed an interest in the activities. -
MEP Offers Help to Bring Chief Persecutor Luo Gan to Justice
2003-11-18This MEP reminded practitioners that action must be taken, justice will win and as a result the persecution of Falun Gong will come to an end. In conclusion, she stated "if there is an opportunity, I am willing to help you with the lawsuit against Luo Gan. With regards to this, please let us keep in contact." -
EFGIC: Chinese Gestapo-Like Agency Plays the Name Game

They change the façade of an agency or policy that violates domestic and international laws, deflecting investigations and muting criticism.
