Sweden: Nordic Dafa Practitioners Appeal in Malmo City to End the Persecution and Stop the Article 23 Legislation
2003-07-10To further expose the evil of the Jiang regimes persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and to stop the Article 23 legislation, Swedish and Danish Dafa practitioners collected petition signatures in the Swedish city of Malmo on July 5th 2003. Many passers-by asked for more information from the practitioners and signed their names in the petition book. -

Haiying Xiao, 31, was detained at Beijing airport on July 2 shortly after returning to the Chinese capital after a four-day trip to Hong Kong. -

2003-07-07Last Friday, a Quebec Court of Appeal overturned a decision of the lower court and reinstated the Falun Gong practitioner's prosecution for Contempt of Court Charges. The Montreal Chinese Newspaper "Les Presses Chinoises" and the author Bing He now face two lawsuits for ignoring a safeguard order of the Quebec Superior Court and for their hate propaganda against Falun Gong.
