Illegally Detained Mother Appeals for Her Daughter, Who Was Tortured to Death

"In 1999, my daughter, Chen Ying, went to Beijing to appeal for fair treatment of Falun Dafa and was arrested. She died on the way back to Jiamusi City while being escorted under police custody from Beijing. On August 19, 1999, in a TV programme, CCTV 1 (the Chinese Central Television Station) framed my daughter as having committed suicide. The Chinese Constitution clearly defines a citizen's right to appeal. Chen Ying appealed in accordance with the law, but she was arrested." -
Mr. Zhao Guoan From Henan Province, Is Killed in Detention; His Wife's Testimony
2004-12-13"My husband, Zhao Guoan, was a strong man when he was arrested. It took only four months in the Xuchang Third Forced Labour Camp for the police there to brutally torture him to death. He had injuries all over his body at the time of his death, as witnessed by all of our relatives who had gone with me to the hospital. Anybody who was released from the forced labour camp could testify to the fact that prisoners there are subjected to torture. Even the people who work in the labour camp would have to admit it." -
Ms. Li Mei Dies as a Result of Persecution, Her Two Daughters Left in Care of 95-Year-Old Mother-in-Law
2004-12-13Ms. Li Mei from Guangdong Province, became a Falun Dafa practitioner in late 1997 and tragically died from torture-related injuries at age 48. On January 24, 2001, Ms. Li was again detained. At the brainwashing centre, Li Mei suffered brutal torture, and was injected with drugs that damaged her nervous system and left her disoriented and confused. Consequently, she was no longer able to take care of herself after her release on August 2, 2003. Li Mei passed away on June 24, 2004. Her two daughters aged 14 and 10 years old are now left in the care of Li Mei's 95-year-old mother-in-law. -
Mr. Peng Derong Suffers Mental Collapse Due to Injection of Drugs at Forced Labour Camp
2004-12-13Mr. Peng Derong, about 30 years old, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Hunan Province. Police abducted Mr. Peng from his home for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in town. He was sent to a Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province for one year. On his release Mr. Peng suddenly and unexpectedly suffered a mental collapse. At home, he laughed one moment and cried the next. He wandered around on the streets all day long. Two months ago, he left home again but has not returned since. -
Ms. Li Ling Dies as a Result of Persecution by Shenyang City's Dabei Prison

Recently, during a new round of persecution of practitioners who refused to give up practising "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," practitioner Ms Li Ling died on November 17, 2004 as a result of torture. It was said that when her family visited her around October 20, no abnormal symptoms were found about her health. But within a span of 20 days, she was killed. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Gao Deyan from Shandong Province Tortured to Death in 2001, Body Thrown in a Pond
2004-12-12Ms. Gao Deyan was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Longkou City, Shandong Province. She was arrested by police on June 29, 2001. Police tortured her to death and then threw her body in a pond. A farmer found her body 10 days later. Her neighbours recognized her as Gao Deyan and buried her. Police from Longkou City have been withholding the facts about her death. -
Several Practitioners Die from Persecution in Hebei Province
2004-12-12Five Langfang City Falun Gong practitioners all died from persecution by Jiang's regime, between the years 1999 and 2004. Amongst them, 50 year old Mr. Ma Zhenting, was detained by police six times and brainwashed because he refused to give up Falun Gong. Because his wife and child also practised Falun Gong, his wife was sentenced to three years in a forced labour camp. The police, the detention centres, and his own employer took all of his family's savings. On July 10, 2003, Mr. Ma died at home in despair. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Boren from Jilin Province Dies Due to Persecution
2004-12-12Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Boren, 36, from Jilin Province, was illegally sent to a forced labour camp twice for practising Falun Gong. In the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp, her body and spirit suffered greatly. By her release date of June 28, 2003, she had become extremely weak. She succumbed to the suffering and passed away on March 19, 2004. -
Investigative Report on the 2002 Death of Practitioner Zhang Dabi from Chongqing City

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Dabi was 60 years old and lived in Chongqing City. She was sentenced to one year of forced labour, suffered inhuman abuses in a local detention centre and in the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Zhang passed away in August 2002 at a hospital in Chengdu City. -
Practitioner Yang Yongjiu from Sichuan Province, Died in 2002 as a Result of the Persecution
2004-12-12Mr. Yang Yongjiu, in his sixties, was a farmer in the Yanjiang District of Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. He began practising Falun Dafa in 1995. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he was arrested and detained several times because of his peaceful appeals on behalf of Falun Gong. He and his wife were subjected to severe persecution. Yang Yongjiu was deeply grieved and indignant because he and his wife had been persecuted so terribly just for being good people. He died at the end of 2002. -
Retired Teacher Ms. Yang Shuying Near Mental Collapse After Being Injected with Toxic Drugs for Three Years
2004-12-11Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Shuying is a retired teacher from a children's school in Chongqing City. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2001 and was arrested. She was sent to a Mental Hospital where she was injected with nerve-damaging drugs. After the injections she moved very slowly and her limbs became rigid. The forced injections of toxic drugs has lasted for three years and is still ongoing. According to her relatives, Yang Shuying is now incontinent and near a mental collapse. -
Ms. Shi Suqin from Hebei Province Dies After Long Term Persecution
2004-12-11In April 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Suqin, a resident of Baoding City, Hebei Province, passed away after going through several months of pain and suffering. Shi Suqin's husband violently opposed Shi Suqin's practising Falun Dafa and frequently beat her. She was arrested and tortured and upon her release her husband still would not allow her to practise. Early in 2004, Shi Suqin was hit by a car and she finally passed away after several months of pain and suffering. -
How I Was Tortured by the Police in Heilongjiang Province (Re-enactment Photo)
2004-12-11"From October 3 to October 18, 2000, the head of the Police Department in Yichun City, ordered police and others to brutally torture me several times. One of the tortures involved having hot water poured on my head for four hours until they ran out of hot water. They then beat me with a wooden stick. One time they incessantly beat me for more than six hours. They also whipped me on the back with belts and stabbed me on the neck and back with cactus thorns." -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mei Jianqi of Shanghai is Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison

Mr. Mei Jianqi, in his late twenties, entered Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a student in the School of Mechanical Engineering. University authorities expelled him from school in October 1999 because he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was then not willing to write the "Guarantee Statement" to give up the practice. -
Practitioners Who Have Being Tortured to Death in Mudanjiang City's Jianshanzi Prison in 2003
2004-12-10Mr. Yu Junxiu was tortured to death in July of 2003 at Jianshanzi Prison in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. Before his death, he had been tortured for over three months. When Yu Junxiu's health condition was extremely precarious, they sent him to the hospital. He died several days after he was released from solitary confinement. However, the prison blamed Falun Gong and claimed that he died because he refused medical treatment after he had become ill in solitary confinement.
