  TheYingcheng "610 Office"** and Langjun police station searched everywhere for Mr. Wan and created conflicts among his relatives. They claimed that Mr. Wan's mother-in-law helped hide him and that there would be "no big deal" as to their asking Mr. Wan's to come for "study" 20 days at the police station. If the mother-in-law would not cooperate to turn in Mr. Wan, then his wife's uncle would be thrown behind bars. Mr. Wan's mum, aunt, brother, and sister-in-law listened to the police and so forced his mother-in-law to turn him in.

• Dark Den of Evil at Qinhuangdao City Police Department

  The police arrested everybody whose names were given, tortured them, and deprived them of sleep until they talked. If no information was given, the Dafa practitioners were detained or sent to a forced labour camp. A total of 70 practitioners were arrested, and quite a few Dafa materials production sites were destroyed, and tens of thousands of Yuan worth of equipment was lost. Almost every arrested practitioner was brutally beaten and tortured, and their bodies were covered with wounds.

• Cruel Torture of Dafa Practitioners at Changchun City Detention Centre

  Using a kind of stink "bomb" to assist in the forced feeding: If the practitioners refused to open their mouths, detention centre doctors would make use of a drug called a "bomb"(We don't know the nature of this drug) that emits a very strong odour. The smell is so strong that the hunger strikers had to open their mouths to breathe, allowing the police to force-feed them. Some practitioner's noses were badly injured by this "bomb".

• Additional Facts Regarding the Murder Of Dafa Practitioner Li Shumin by the Banqiao Women's Prison in Tianjin City

  Ms. Li Shumin was about 30 years old and she worked as the head nurse at the Medical Centre of the Second Medical College in Tianjin City. She was illegally detained at the 5th Brigade in Banqiao Women's Prison in Dagang. The prison guards constantly tortured her because she refused to give up her faith in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. She was only allowed to sleep for one hour each day, and was forced to do hard labour day and night while being subjected to beating and torture.

The police was afraid to be held accountable for her condition and released her. They attempted to force her to give them 10,000 Yuan, and eventually extorted 2000 Yuan from her family.   The responsible government branches and officials have done nothing to punish the murderers. On the contrary, they threatened and harassed Chen's family members by admitting, "Your husband was killed by us for practising Falun Gong. We have gone to a lot of trouble in meeting quota [the given quota of killing Falun Gong practitioners]. How dare you speak out?! You want to be killed!?" It caused medical "food poisoning." In addition, during the ruthless and unprofessional force-feeding they poured the mixture into his trachea causing him to suffocate and die. The directors of the detention centre, Zhu and Ma, are responsible for his death.

  Under the leadership of Mr. He Po and Mr. Wei Dong, the police tied Li Wenming to an iron chair and put a special helmet on his head. They knew that the terrible effect of this torture method would make anyone desire death over life; the helmet was to prevent the victim from committing suicide. The police applied custom-made handcuffs to Li Wenming's wrists. The handcuffs were actually two iron rings that could be tightened by twisting the screws.

  Beaten unconscious by the police, they poured cold water over him to revive him so that they could continue their brutality. They tried to force him to renounce his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance using extreme torture methods. He was beaten severely, such that his body was covered in bruises and lacerations. Even so, police extorted 12,300 Yuan from his family before agreeing to release him. Within half a month after Mr. Dong was released, he still could not take care of himself due to the physical injuries he received.
