Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Guangdong, Hebei, and Hubei Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution

Ms. Pang Xiulan, 61, suffered from diabetes. After cultivating Falun Dafa, all of her illnesses disappeared. She used her personal experiences and her health improvement to validate the miraculous healing effects of Falun Dafa. However, she was sentenced to two years of forced labour. She suffered severe and cruel persecution at the women's forced labour camp and had a relapse of her diabetes. On April 28th, 2006, she died as a result of the persecution. -
Ms. Zhang Yuzhen from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province Sentenced to Forced Labour After Six Years of Imprisonment
2006-11-29Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, 39, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was sentenced to six years of imprisonment. After she completed her term she was transferred to Jiangxi Women's Forced Labour Camp, where the authorities deployed all kinds of inhuman torture methods to try to force her to give up her practice of Falun Gong. The torture included locking her in a solitary cell, beating her while she was hung up, burning her with cigarettes, exposing her to the scorching sun for long periods of time, typing her up with rope for long periods of time, and keeping her in handcuffs and shackles for long periods. -
Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Centre
2006-11-29Policemen Lai Jianfeng and Yang Yongcheng directed guards to subject practitioners to various forms of abuse. At first, practitioners were only allowed to sleep for two or three hours a day. They were tied up with their feet crossed, and a rope looped around the neck tied to the rope binding their legs together. Soon the practitioners would feel terrible pain in their lower back, neck, legs, and feet. Screams of pain were frequently heard in the middle of the night. -
Urgent Rescue: New York Resident's Brother Hu Zhiming Is Very Weak After Seven Month Hunger Strike in Jinzhou Prison, Liaoning Province
2006-11-28My younger brother Hu Zhiming is a Falun Dafa practitioner, and he is now detained in the Nanshan Prison in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Several days ago, my older brother visited him and found that Hu Zhiming was very weak; both of his legs muscles had atrophied due to being unable to move for a long time, and he is in critical condition. Hu Zhiming started his hunger strike after being detained in Haidian District Detention Centre in Beijing in April 2006. He has been on hunger strike continuously for seven months. The Nanshan Prison Administration refuses to release him, and they conduct brutal force-feeding. -
Dr. Shao Hui Tortured to Death Leaving a Young Son Behind, His Wife Mu Ping Arrested Again by Jilin City Police (Photos)

On October 24th, 2006, police from the National Security Team of the Jilin City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Mu Ping. Mrs. Mu Ping's husband, Mr. Shao Hui, was a doctor. Because he practised Falun Gong and spoke to people about the facts of Falun Dafa, he was monitored and arrested by police. In August 2002, he was tortured to death. He was only 31 years old. -
Facts about the Persecution and Death of Practitioner Mr. Li Zetao from Chongqing City in 2001
2006-11-28Mr. Li Zetao was arrested in June 2000 after being reported for speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa. He was sent to Xishanping Forced Labour Camp. Because Li Zetao publicly resisted the overtime hard labour, requested the right to write a letter to sue because of the persecution, and demanded the right to practise the Falun Gong exercises, he was considered a real thorn in the Camp's side. Guard Du Jun claimed: "(I) wanted to beat him to death a long time ago." he was frequently viciously tortured until finally he died on June 2nd 2001. Mr. Li Zetao was about 24 years old. -
Police Assault an Elderly Couple Protesting Their Son's Arrest
2006-11-28On the night of November 11th, 2006, about eight policemen stopped an older couple that were protesting their son's arrest. The police officers took away a banner (with words of protest) from them. They pushed the elderly lady down on the ground and put the older man into the police vehicle, pulling him just by his hair. They drove away quickly. When the older lady went to the police station to appeal for her husband's release she saw a police officer chasing her husband. Her husband stumbled and the larger policeman tackled him. -
Her Three Daughters Persecuted--One to Death--Ms. Yu Xiulan Dies in Despair and Fear
2006-11-28Ms. Yu Xiulan, 80 years old, lived in Hegang City in Heilongjiang Province. She started practising Falun Gong in 1998. Three of her daughters also practise Falun Gong. Her second daughter, Du Guilan, was persecuted to death in 2004. Her fifth daughter, Du Guijie, has been detained in Harbin Women's Prison. The third daughter, Du Guihua, was arrested and persecuted several times. Even her grandson, who does not practise Falun Gong, was also arrested and tortured. Ms. Yu Xiulan became more fearful with each passing day day. She died in August 2006. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Die Due to Persecution in Liaoning, Gansu, and Jilin Provinces
2006-11-27Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cao Fengying, 62, lived in Gansu Province. She went to Beijing twice to appeal, was detained twice in the Jinchang City Drug Rehabilitation Centre, and was later transferred to the Jinchang City Detention Centre. She went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. Her family paid two thousands yuan to bail her out, but policemen often came to her door to harass and threaten her. She had been forced to put her fingerprint on a guarantee statement promising to stop Falun Gong practice. She died six months later on January 28th, 2004. -
Practitioners Zhao Fuguang, Zhang Cuijuan and Diao Yuqing Tortured in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-11-27Ms. Zhao Fuguang was arrested on September 12th. She has been on a hunger strike up ever since. On September 14th, Ms. Zhao was sent to the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, where she was forced to write the three statements to renounce and denounce Falun Gong. She refused, for which she was cruelly beaten and kicked by prison guards. Then she was tortured with "sitting on an iron chair". In the meantime, she was injected with drugs and was not allowed to go to toilet for long time. -
Crimes Committed by Wang Shouliang in Fusong County, Jilin Province
2006-11-27Wang Shouliang is an agent of the Quanyang Forestry Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Political and Security Office in Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. In the past seven years, he has sent 23 innocent Falun Dafa practitioners to forced labour and detained countless other practitioners. Many families of Falun Dafa practitioners are suffering financial hardship because Wang Shouliang caused them to lose their jobs. Wang also is involved in pocketing money from practitioners' "security deposits," which many practitioners' family members had to go into debt to provide. -
The Situation of Practitioners Mr. Zhao Longzhi and His Wife Ms. Luo Na in Tibet Remains Unknown After Eight Months in Police Custody
2006-11-27Tibetan Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhao Longzhi and his wife Ms. Luo Na were arrested by local police officers and members of the 610 Office on January 31, 2006. Local police officers and members of the 610 Office became suspicious that Mr. Zhao and Ms. Luo were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The officers searched the couple's home and took them into custody. No family visit has been granted. It has been reported that Mr. Zhao Longzhi and Ms. Luo Na were unlawfully held in the Lhasa City Detention Centre. -
Practitioners Being Tortured in Hongzehu Prison in Jiangsu Province
2006-11-26Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zang Shuqin previously had atrophied muscles, but quickly recovered after Falun Dafa practice. He was detained multiple times and tortured at the Hongze Farm. On September 18th, 2006, he was detained again. He is being watched by more than ten guards. Prison 610 Office agents are brainwashing him every day. Mr. Zang Shuqin is resisting the brainwashing completely, and holding onto the truth. It has now been more then twenty days since he was detained. -
Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui from Anhui Province Sentenced to Long Prison Terms in a Secret Trial
2006-11-26Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui were arrested on March 2nd, 2006, in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. They were detained in Huaibei Second Detention Centre. On September 29th, the Xiangshan District Court of Huaibei City held a secret trial without notifying their relatives. At the trial Mr. Dai and Mr. Zhou shouted "Falun Dafa is Good! Falun Dafa is Righteous! Please learn the truth about Falun Dafa." They were beaten by court officials. On October 24th, the Xiangshan District Court sentenced Mr. Dai Zhifeng to six years in prison and sentenced Mr. Zhou Hui to seven years in prison--in their absence--and did not notify their families. -
Practitioner Mr. Xie Mingyi from Liaoning Province Arrested; His Whereabouts Unknown
2006-11-26Dafa practitioner Mr. Xie Mingyi was arrested and his whereabouts remain unknown. At first, Miao Zhensheng, the political instructor in Domestic Security Brigade in Liaoyang County, said that Mr. Xie was detained at Liaoyang County Detention Centre. No one was allowed to visit him and nothing could be forwarded to him except cash. A month later, Miao said that Mr. Xie was transferred to Liaoyang City Detention Centre. Mr. Xie's family immediately went to Liaoyang City Detention Centre. The guard said that Mr. Xie had been transferred elsewhere.
