The Persecution I Experienced in Yang'ai Forced Labour Camp

In August, 2001, I was detained for what turned out to be four years at Yang'ai Forced Labour Camp in China, for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. In the beginning, I worked more than twelve hours every day wearing a prison uniform. I was then transferred to the Eighth Branch in 2005. For every practitioner there were two inmates assigned to monitor them closely. The group of three stayed in a single room with the windows tightly shut. Practitioners were watched around the clock. We were not allowed to leave the room, even for meals. -
Torture Deaths of 2,932 Falun Gong Practitioners in the Past Seven Years Confirmed
2006-08-30The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang's regime has resorted to the most wicked and barbaric methods in the history of mankind to abuse Falun Gong practitioners, both physically and mentally. They use over 40 different methods of torture including long-term sleep deprivation; electric shocks to the mouth, chest, armpits, breasts, and private parts with multiple high-voltage electric batons; basement detention; water dungeon; handcuffing behind the back; hanging up by hands cuffed behind the back; the Tiger Bench; Stretching Bed; sexual assault; whipping with leather belts and copper wire; beating with steel bars, spiked rods, and bamboo sticks; force-feeding with pepper water, concentrated salt water, and human faeces through industrial plastic tubes; and injection and forced ingestion of nerve-damaging drugs. -
Practitioner Mr. Liu Shijun Died as a Result of Being Tortured in Heilongjiang Province

In 1994, Mr. Liu Shijun suffered from cirrhosis of the liver. His liver cirrhosis gradually healed after 15 days of first practising Falun Dafa, and he became a healthy person again. In August 1999, he went to Beijing in order to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. Policemen arrested and tortured him. In the detention centre, policemen took Mr. Liu to a special disciplinary unit and forced him to do hard labour. After his release, local police often harassed him by phone or went to his home and threatened him. On March 3rd, 2005, Mr.. Liu suddenly began throwing up blood. He passed away three days later on March 6th. -
An Appeal Letter from Wang Bo's Grandmother: Look for My Daughter, Liu Shuqin, and Her Family
2006-08-30My granddaughter, Wang Bo, was sent to various labour camps for three years just because she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Her bright future was ruined. After my granddaughter was released, she looked very different. She was depressed and unhappy. She was not willing to see people. That bubbly, vibrant and lovely Wang Bo disappeared. At such a young age, she was arrested, interrogated, tortured and "transformed" forcibly. She suffered a lot. She was detained in several places and terribly upset. In labour camps, Wang Bo's mind collapsed a couple of times. One time, she attempted suicide by cutting her wrist. Fortunately, she was found in time. -
Details of the Brutal Torture I Received at Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou
2006-08-30I was detained at Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou from January 9th, 2003, to July 14th, 2005. During that time, I was brutally tortured by the camp guards. Their methods of torturing are extremely brutal. The following are examples: They kicked my face with the bottoms of their shoes; they hit me until I fell to the ground and then stepped on me. After I got up, they hit and kicked me until I fell again; they twisted my hands backward. Two persons, one at each side, blocked my feet with theirs. Then, they suddenly pressed on my back and pushed me to the ground. My head hit the ground and bled; they used cigarette butts to burn my palms, creating blisters. -
Exposing the Jiangbei Brainwashing Centre in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-08-30This brainwashing centre was built with the hard-earned money collected from the general population by the Chinese Communist Party. It is used to persecute practitioners who follow the principles of "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance." On June 12th, 2006, Luo Gan, Zeng Qinghong, and other perpetrators came to Harbin. Since that time, the 610 Office in Harbin has escalated the torture against practitioners and held many brainwashing sessions. They take turns holding the brainwashing in different regions of the city. Each region assigns the task of arresting practitioners to street committees, which in turn assigns the task to local communities. They first deceive the practitioner, saying that he needs to come for a meeting. If he refuses, they will drag him to the Jiangbei brainwashing centre. -

Niu Jinping told them, "You are the ones murdering people, and you are asking me to sign something?" He refused to sign. -
A Young Woman Endures Severe Torture to Protect Her Fellow Practitioners from Persecution
2006-08-29"They stopped the beating and tried to coerce me to speak. I did not say anything. Another man came and punched me and kicked me. I fell down to the ground. Four or five persons attacked me at once. They stomped on my face and hands, and beat me. I rolled on the ground, writhing in pain. They stopped when they felt tired. By then my face and eyes were swollen. I was in pain all over my body. But I did not betray my fellow practitioners because I understood that if I told the authorities their names, the practitioners would be arrested and persecuted, maybe even to death (at that time hundreds of deaths had already been confirmed)." -
Detailed Report on the Persecution and Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Bai Lixia in 2002
2006-08-29Ms Bai Lixia was arrested in Beijing with eleven other practitioners in September 1999 when she was appealing for Dafa. They sent her to the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Twenty-eight Dafa practitioners from Jixi were sent to labour camp(s) and were brutally tortured. They slept on the concrete floor. They found water each morning upon awakening under the plastic sheets they slept on. The Wanjia Forced Labour Camp forbade Dafa practitioners to meet each other and detained the practitioners individually, in order to "reform" them. Female guard Meng Xiangzhi forced Bai Lixia to do heavy slave labour when Bai Lixia was suffering from ulcerated scabies all over her body. -
Practitioner Shao Qiang's Mother Calls for His Release After He Became Mentally Unstable from a Police Beating
2006-08-29Since July 24th, Ms Zhang Huizhu has been holding a sign outside the Shandong Provincial Prison to protest the police's beating of her son Shao Qiang. She is urging the prison to unconditionally release him. Shao Qiang went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa was subsequently sentenced by the Beijing Judiciary Department to ten years in prison. While Shao was detained in Beijing and Jinan City, he was often brutally beaten by the police, and this caused him to become mentally unstable. -
Six Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang and Hubei Province Die as a Result of the Persecution
2006-08-29Mr. Hu Shaohui, 74 years old, was arrested when he spoke about the facts of Falun Dafa to a student in a park. One police officer shouted at him, "I will kick you till you die!" The policemen pushed him to the ground and forcefully took him to the local residential committee office. At that time, he was gasping for breath. They threatened Mr. Hu by threatening to fire his son from his job if he refused to go to a brainwashing session. Under all kinds of pressure, Mr. Hu developed symptoms of cerebral thrombus. After he was out of the hospital, because his family members continued to monitor and pressure him. Mr. Hu's condition worsened, and he died on July 8th, 2006. -
Jiang Yuejun Sent to a Forced Labour Camp with Fractures After Being Beaten by Agents from the National Protection Team – His Mother Suffers From Depression
2006-08-28Mr. Jiang Yuejun was brought to the Public Security Bureau, where he was interrogated for two days. He was tortured with all sorts of methods and equipment and not a single part of his body was without wounds from the beatings he received. It was only because of a fractured rib that he was sent to the Nanshan Detention Centre. Even then, however, not only did the policemen refuse to give him medical attention, they also announced to the public that they had not beaten him at all. -
Mr. Chen Chunlin from Anda City Tortured in Daqing City Prison
2006-08-28On September 20th, 2002, prison guards ordered two criminals to beat and curse Mr. Chen Chunlin. They humiliated him, deprived him of sleep, and poured cold water on him. On March 15th, 2004, a guard locked Mr. Chen in solitary confinement and deprived him of sleep. He also arranged prisoners to watch him and insult him. The second night, prisoners put Mr. Chen on a large bed, where Mr. Chen was excruciatingly tortured. On March 17th after Mr. Chen had a physical test and was sent back to the sickroom, prisoners ordered by the guards stripped his clothes, poured cold water on him, and opened the window to let him freeze. They also beat and kicked him for three to four hours. He was then put on the bed and tortured more brutally. They gripped his testicles and pressured his eyeballs with their fingers. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lan Hongying is Imprisoned in Helongjiang Women’s Prison
2006-08-28In the autumn of 2002, Ms. Lan Hongying was arrested by police in Jilin Province. She was sentenced to an eight-year imprisonment in Helongjiang Women’s Prison. Ms. Lan’s whole family was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Her elder sister and father passed away one after the other. Her mother is in serious condition with no one to take care of her. However, Ms. Lan knew nothing about what had happened to her family. -
Ms. Zheng Yingchun Tortured by Warden Liu Yadong in Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-28On June 17th, 2002, practitioner Ms. Zheng Yingchun was sentenced to two years in the Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp. A warden, Liu, lectured Ms. Zheng many times trying to make her "renounce" her belief. She explained to Liu the beauty of Falun Dafa, but he refused to listen and cruelly pinched Ms. Zheng’s arm. The bruise remained for more than two weeks. Liu also pinched Ms. Zheng’s thighs. Liu often subjected Zheng Yingchun to the sitting board torture, which requires the victim to put her hands on her lap, keep the back straight, and sit still on a wooden bench for up to 18 hours a day. Liu tortured Zheng Yingchun for over fifty days.
