When the First Women’s Labour Camp in Shandong Province Failed to Destroy a Practitioner's Conscience, They Subjected Her to Severe Torture

The labour camp cruelly tortured a practitioner by locking her in a "small cell" and depriving her of sleep for 13 days. The cell was no more than one metre wide and four to five meters long. The cell never received any sunlight and was unheated. The cell was so cold that one could suffer frostbite in the feet despite wearing very thick shoes, and one would need to wear three winter coats to stay even somewhat warm. One had to defecate and urinate in the cell. This caused the air inside the cell to be extremely filthy and foul. This practitioner was tortured in the cell for 13 days during the coldest part of winter. -
The Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Dong Yanfa
2006-08-27Forty-eight-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Dong was detained by police three times. The third time two officers beat Mr. Dong on April 27th, 2001, until his face was covered in blood. They inserted a tube with unidentified drugs into Dong Yanfa’s nostrils. Mr. Dong felt general malaise afterwards and collapsed on the floor.. He was semi-paralysed, saw double, couldn’t speak, and drooled constantly. He could not eat or go to the toilet. The authorities took him to a detention centre even though he was in serious condition. Mr. Dong was again arrested in 2005. He collapsed on the floor. Then the officials ransacked his home, even having done so four times already. -
Officers in Huludao City Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners
2006-08-27Five police officers noticed practitioners Mr. Yang Jiangwei and Mr. Pei Zhihua speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa in Gaotai Township on the evening of August 6th, 2006. The officers chased the practitioners in their police car until the two fell into a roadside ditch. The fall severely injured practitioner Mr. Pei Zhihua. He could not move his legs and had a shattered jaw. The police sent Mr. Pei to a hospital, notified his family, and left. Mr. Pei’s family is poor, and it will be hard for them to pay the medical expenses. -
The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ruan Shufang
2006-08-27On October 15th, 2004, Dafa practitioner Ruan Shufang was arrested by police and sent to Fusong Detention Centre, where she was jailed for 45 days. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Heizuizi Labour Camp for a one-year term of labour education. While detained in the labour camp, Ms. Ruan shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." Because of this, her term was extended. After nearly two years of torture, the muscles on her hands have withered and her hands shake uncontrollably. She has lost the ability to work and cannot take care of herself. -
Mr. Lei Ming, Who Participated in Cable TV Tapping in Changchun in 2002, Dies from Torture Inflicted Wounds

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lei Ming was part of a group that tapped into Changchun City Cable TV to spread the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution in 2002. He was arrested and had been tortured to disability in the Changchun City Police Department and Jilin Prison. He was tortured with the tiger bench, electric baton shocks (on his face, mouth, neck, and anus), suffocation by plastic bags covering his head, hitting a metal bucket on his head, burning his neck with a red-hot screw driver, punching and kicking. He died on August 6th, 2006. -
The Persecution I Experienced and Witnessed at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-26The team leader bound my legs with a rope. Zhang Chunguang tried to hold me still by planting her feet on my legs and forcibly gave me an injection. Like a beast, she beat prisoners at will. In mid-winter, she stripped me of my insulated coat and hung it on a line, and for two days in a row forced me to stand in the cold outside the room. She humiliated me by taking pictures of me holding a black carton. One time my required fitness exercise movements were not quite up to par, so I was dragged into an open area and savagely beaten by police officers. -
Blood Forcibly Extracted from Practitioners in the Qianxi Detention Centre in Hebei Province
2006-08-26In the detention centre, five practitioners had blood forcibly drawn from them and were photographed. The following accounts reveal the persecution of the Falun Dafa practitioners. Chuai Cuijun was held down and had blood drawn. She was photographed in a handcuffed and shackled position. Chuai Cuijun went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. She was force-fed twice with dense brine, which the policemen said was soy milk. It is very agonising to be fed brine when on a hunger strike. She was handcuffed and shackled for two weeks (only criminals awaiting execution are treated in this manner). -
Recent Arrests and Extortion of Falun Gong Practitioners by Gucheng County Police in Hebei Province
2006-08-26In March 2006, the 610 Office started another round of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Police arrested practitioners, sent them to forced labour camps, and extorted money from them. According to an inside source: "The director of the police department assigned quotas to each subordinate section and police station. We dared not touch the real criminals, so we decided on Falun Gong practitioners to make up the numbers. It was easy to do and profitable, since we could hold them until they forked over the money. When the police department ran over budget, they would arrest 30-40 Falun Gong practitioners and get 200-300 thousand yuan." -
Husband and Wife Close to Death in Forced Labour Camps in Shaanxi Province
2006-08-26Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Cao Huashan and his wife Li Shulian of Yanan City, Shaanxi Province, have been persecuted many times. When unlawfully detained at a forced labour camp, Mr. and Mrs. Cao protested by hunger striking for 40 days and 90 days respectively. During brutal forced feedings, the camp personnel have knocked out several of Ms. Li's front teeth. She is skeletal. Her family is not allowed to visit her. Now they are both critically ill and near death. It is urgent that they be released from detention. -
Ms. Wang Shibi, an Elementary School Teacher from Chongqi City, Passes Away After Suffering Five Years of Persecution in a Labour Camp
2006-08-25On August 17th, 2000, Ms. Wang Shibi, 54, was arrested when she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution in Chongqi City. Later she was sentenced to five years of forced labour and detained in the labour camp of Yongchuan Women's Prison. There, she was tortured and persecuted. Later she showed symptoms of severe illness. On January 19th, 2005, she was released on parole for medical treatment. After Ms. Wang came back home, she was constantly harassed by the police. Under tremendous mental and physical pressure, Ms. Wang passed away in March 2006. -
Brutal Persecutions in Kaiping Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-25A building in the camp was built for the purpose of jailing Falun Gong practitioners. On one occasion, camp director, about twenty male guards, and the female guards in charge of practitioners brought a bag of "constraining belts," a bag of handcuffs, and electric batons to the building. They rushed into several rooms, tried to pull practitioners out of their rooms, and beat and cursed them. When we heard the sounds of beating, cursing, and electric shocks from other rooms, we understood that the practitioners in the other rooms were being seriously beaten again. The sounds of crying, screaming and cursing all mixed together. Practitioners were beaten so that their heads were cut and bloody. Blood splattered all over the hallway and in the rooms. -
Persecution in a Beijing Prison is Life-Threatening for Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Huang Yongzhong
2006-08-25A seriously injured patient was admitted to the emergency room of Jieyang City People’s Hospital in Guangdong Province at 5:00 a.m. on July 7th, 2006. One of the persons who brought in the patient told the doctor, "This is a criminal. Do what you can do. If its not curable, let it be." This kind of speech startled everyone present. What kind of criminal could encounter such indifferent treatment? The patient was Falun Dafa practitioner Huang Yongzhong. -
Persecution of Retired Teacher, Practitioner Ms. Yang Baoying, and Her Family from Fuxin City
2006-08-2561-year-old Ms Yang Baoying was cruelly tortured at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. She was subjected to cruelties including brainwashing and having to listen to and watch radio messages and videos slandering Falun Dafa. She was deprived of sleep for refusing to "reform." She was compelled to do slave labour until her arms hurt and she could not raise them. Her fingers turned numb and she could not bend them. Ms. Yang developed rheumatoid arthritis in her back and legs. Her sentence was extended by two months. The police would not release her until her family paid them 1,750 yuan. Her family, stating they really did not have that much money, gave the police 800 yuan. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Wen Qingfang from Qianan City is Handicapped Due to Persecution
2006-08-25On February 25th, 2006, National Security Team officers broke into Ms. Wen Qingfang’s home and took her to a detention centre. During the detention, Ms. Wen carried out a hunger strike to protest the persecution. On the eighth or ninth day, the deputy director of the detention centre, and the detention centre doctor, led four to five inmates to hold down Ms. Wen, and forcibly injected her with an unknown drug using an IV. Twenty minutes later, Ms. Wen started to show adverse reactions to the drug. Her internal organs, as well as her arms and legs, all became extremely painful. Ten minutes after the bottle of IV was injected, Ms. Wen couldn’t move her right leg, and had pain so extreme that she could not speak coherently. Seven or eight days later, her right leg atrophied and she had no feeling in her right foot. -
Dead from Police Torture and Abuse: Mr. Guo Juting of Sichuan Province
2006-08-24Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Juting was detained in Lingqunsi Detention Centre. He went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution, and then suffered force-feeding and poisonous injections. Regardless how he was persecuted, he did not cooperate with the authorities. He always held in his mind "Falun Dafa is good." The police turned furious and tortured him cruelly. Guo Juting was tortured and abused until he was near death. The police released him on December 3rd, 2004. He died on January 24th, 2005.
