Falun Dafa Practitioner Yan Xiling is on Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution at the Shandong Province Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp; Her Life is in Danger

Ms. Yan Xiling, 48, is from Shandong Province. Since July 20th, 1999 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution, local police had arrested her several times. She left home in 2000, unable to lead a normal life, and has since wandered about. She was sentenced to forced labour again in June 2006. Her life at the Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp is endangered. We recently received urgent information from the labour camp. Since Yan Xiling went on a hunger strike to protest the detention, she has been in solitary confinement and is now in critical condition. -
The Humiliation and Suffering I Endured During My Detention in Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp
2006-08-24I started practising Falun Dafa in 1996, and benefited physically and mentally from the practice. I held the position of manager at a well-known foreign company in Beijing prior to the regime's ban of Falun Dafa. I worked hard and my achievements were outstanding. My superiors had great trust in me. Later, during the persecution against Dafa practitioners, my company forced me to resign due to pressure from the Communist regime. The police arrested me five times because I appealed for Dafa, did the Falun Gong exercises in public and exposed the persecution. My most traumatic incidents took place after the last arrest. My experiences are a demonstration of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) fanatic wickedness and evilness. -
55-Year-Old Ms. Pei Shuhua from Changchun City Severely Emaciated Due to Persecution

Before being persecuted, 55-year-old Ms. Pei Shuhua was a tall lady at approximately 1.7 metres, with a healthy build and a weight of 160 pounds. After her release Ms. Pei's skin was bruised and purple, her hair greyish white, and she was severely emaciated. There was barely any flesh on her, and even her veins appeared to be shrivelled. She could not urinate properly, nor could she sit or stand properly. She has lost all ability to move and needs help to turn, to sit up, and to eat. -
Mr. Fu Xuedan Passed Away in Grief after his Mother was Sentenced to Forced Labour
2006-08-24On April 24th, 2002, when Mr. Fu Xuedan was only 17, police from the Security Bureau of Bin County in Heilongjiang Province broke into his home and arrested his mother for practising Falun Gong. She was sentenced to three years at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. He never saw his mother again, which was devastating for him. Not long after his mother was arrested, he began to yearn for her affection and missed her tender care. He became so despondent that he ate only instant noodles every day. Mr. Fu was left at home alone, and his agony was indescribable. In August 2004, just as he was entering his junior year, he collapsed. He was diagnosed with a terminal case of throat cancer. On September 26th, 2005, he passed away. Fu Xuedan was only 21 when he died. -
The Cruel Torture and Agonising Death of Hao Yingqiang (Photos)

"When I was taken from the interrogation room, I saw that a large patch on the cement floor was stained with my blood. My blood had spilled onto the floor, splattered the wall, the desk and the chairs. My clothes were glued to my entire body because of the bleeding. I was injured and blood was everywhere..." -- Hao Yingqiang, a Falun Gong practitioner from Yanji City, Jilin Province. Mr. Hao was tortured to death and died in excruciating pain on June 8, 2006. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner from Chengdu City Recounts Being Tortured to Disability and Near Blindness
2006-08-23In September 2002, prison officers hung up exhibits that defamed Falun Dafa and forced us to read them. If we refused to read them, we would be severely beaten. Bai Lirong beat me so hard that I nearly became blind. As of now, I am still unable to see clearly. My face was bruised and swollen. My upper teeth were smashed and I lost three of them. After the beating, the guards forced me to stand outside until 7:00 p.m., and then locked me up in a cell, which was small, dark, damp, without ventilation, and smelled of mildew. It was the worst cell, and five to eight Falun Dafa practitioners were locked in it. We were all subjected to multiple forms of cruel torture. I gradually lost my ability to walk, had oedema and scabies all over my body, my hands and feet were cold, and I had difficulty relieving myself. -
Ms. Li Wenzhen Dies After Suffering a Mental Collapse in a Brainwashing Centre
2006-08-23Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Wenzhen lived in Guangdong Province. She suffered a mental collapse and her life was in danger because of being tortured in a brainwashing class. In this brainwashing centre, all sorts of torture means have been used on Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners were forced to do "military training" outside, and were beaten if they failed to follow each command. Almost all of the practitioners in the class have been tortured by being hung up by their handcuffs. Ms. Li died in June 2006, when she fell into water. -
Elderly Ms. Shen Chengxin from Jilin Province Persecuted To Death
2006-08-23Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shen Chengxin was 66 years old. In 2000, police detained her in a brainwashing centre because she had participated in group study of the teachings of Falun Dafa. In 2003, whilst walking on the street police searched her handbag and discovered Falun Gong-related materials. She was sentenced to forced labour. Because the police constantly persecuted and harassed her, all of Ms. Shen's family's savings were exhausted, and her body and mind were devastated. She was forced to scrape out a living by cultivating some unused land in the mountains. On June 15th, 2005, Ms. Shen Chengxin suddenly lost consciousness and died. -
Practitioner Yang Zhanjiu Disabled from Persecution at Shilingzi Prison in Siping City
2006-08-23Mr. Yang Zhanjiu, a Falun Dafa practitioner detained in Shilingzi Prison is now disabled from the tortures. The bones in his heels were smashed and he was sent to a hospital for treatment. In order to shift the responsibility, the prison repeatedly told Mr. Yang's family members that they would release Yang Zhanjiu right after his recovery from the operation. However, he was sent back to the prison again. The bones in Yang Zhanjiu’s heels were removed. The nerves in his legs are dead. As a result, he can’t walk, nor can he take care of himself. His family members requested many times that he be released on bail to get medical treatment. The prison, however, refuses without reason. -
Beijing Falun Gong Practitioners Call for the Rescue of Cao Dong and Niu Jinping
2006-08-22We are Falun Gong practitioners and friends of Mr. Cao Dong and Mr. Niu Jinping. Cao Dong went missing after he met with the Vice President of the European Parliament, Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott. His family members are terribly worried for his safety. Many of us have had similar experiences. Suddenly, one day our relatives disappeared and no one knew where they were. After a long time, we learned that they were imprisoned somewhere, or perhaps even something worse happened to them. -
Older Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liang Shufan Passed Away Due to the Persecution
2006-08-22Ms. Liang Shufan, 59 years old, went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong, and was arrested. She was tortured twice in a brainwashing centre and had one thousand yuan extorted from her. In November 2000, Ms. Liang Shufan went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa again. Policemen beat her in Beijing, broke her nose, knocked out two of her front teeth, and took her back to be detained for more than a month in the Jilin City Detention Centre. She was then sentenced to three years of forced labour, but she was released because of her high blood pressure (230 mm). Because of her long-term mistreatment under the persecution, Ms. Liang was under huge mental pressure. She was often harassed by police. In May 2005 she had a stroke. Ms. Liang Shufan died in November 2005, after police had harassed her twice during that time period. -
Ganjingzi District Court in Dalian City, Liaoning Province Plans Show-Trial for Mr. Xue Xinkai and His Mother
2006-08-22According to an accurate source, Ganjingzi District Court of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, recently made plans to bring Dafa practitioners Mr. Xue Xinkai and his mother Sun Shuyun to trial at 9:00 a.m. on July 18th, 2006. This source disclosed that all arrested Falun Gong practitioners are given so-called "court hearings," but it is well known that these hearings are only superficial. The prison terms given to Falun Gong practitioners have been already decided, but simply not yet announced at the time of the hearing, so in reality the judge merely plays out the procedure. So long as a hearing is held, the judge's duty is completed. -
Qingqing Hopes Her Mother and Uncle Will Return Soon
2006-08-22My uncle (my mum's brother) and mum were arrested and have been held by the Chinese Communist Party for more than five months. My grandma and granddad take care of me now. Do you know how my uncle and mother were arrested? The police handcuffed them while they were at work, then they ransacked our whole house. I can't see my mother or uncle at all now. Later on I heard my mum yelling down the staircase, "Why are you arresting me? Release me!" Four people carried her down the stairs. When they reached the first floor, they dropped her. Then they carried her outside. My eyes were full of tears that started to quickly fall. I kept calling, "Mum, Mum!" -
A Fourteen-year-old Practitioner's Difficult Life
2006-08-22This year, I am fourteen years old. I have practised Falun Gong for nine years. It was through practising Falun Gong that I obtained a healthy body. After the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, the police persecuted my family and broke us apart. My mother and aunt were not only detained, but also sent to a forced labour camp for one year. Facing the brutal fact of my mother's year in forced labour, I felt that the sky had collapsed. Every minute and every second I longed for mother's return. Every night I went to sleep with tears in my eyes. Mother told me that while at the forced labour camp, the brutality had taken a toll on her body both spiritually and mentally. Every day she was subjected to hard labour for seventeen to eighteen hours. She witnessed fellow practitioners enduring electric shock torture, their faces disfigured by the charring from the constant electric baton shocks. -
The Persecution of a Family: Husband Tortured to Death, Wife Forced Into Homelessness and Imprisoned, Children Harassed (Photo)
2006-08-21Ms. Liu Yumin's husband Mr. Wu Yanshui died on May 20th, 2001 as a result of persecution. Immediately after his death, authorities from the Laishui county government demolished her house to widen the street. With the house demolished, Ms. Liu Yumin and her two young children became homeless, having to go from one place to another. During these desperate times, police hunted for Ms. Liu and her two children everywhere. One night in 2002, the police climbed the wall, crossed the courtyard, pried a window open and broke into the temporary housing of Ms. Liu and the children. Ms. Liu Yumin didn't even have time to put on her shoes when the police broke in and arrested her. Her little girl wailed and screamed in protest, but the police grabbed her and shouted, "If you scream one more time, we will take you too!"
