Wuhan Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Jinchun Missing For Several Years, Possibly Murdered

Because Chen Jinchun firmly practised Dafa, the Wuhan police department issued a warrant for her arrest. In order to avoid immediate arrest, she did not return home. One day police came to Chen Jinchun's mother's home and told her that Chen Jinchun had been caught at a supermarket and she jumped from a high place, suffering broken bones. She had been taken to a hospital. Chen's mother searched every big hospital in Wuhan looking for her daughter, but wherever she went, she was told there was no person named Chen Jinchun there. -

2006-06-09On May 21st, Cao Dong met with Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice-President of the European Parliament, who was in China to investigate first hand the human rights situation there. Cao Dong disappeared shortly after the meeting. He was arrested by the authorities and his whereabouts remain unknown. On May 26th, 2006, six people from the National Security Bureau opened the door of Mr. Cao Dong's home with a master key and arrested practitioner Gao Fengqiang who was staying there and ransacked the property -
Mr. Shao Mingzhu Dies Due to Torture at Forced Labour Camp
2006-06-09Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Shao Mingzhu was sent to one year of forced labour in 2002 because he handed out leaflets exposing the persecution. In 2004, he was sentenced to another two years of forced labour and a one month extension. During this term, he was so brutally tortured that he became very emaciated, and he could not take care of his daily needs. Finally, his lungs became severely infected, and his family picked him up in mid March 2006. He went to hospital but died two months later on May 30th, 2006. -
Imprisoned Falun Dafa Practitioner Liang Zhenxing, who was Involved in TV Truth-broadcasting, Is in Critical Condition from Persecution

It was just learned that practitioner Liang Zhenxing is in critical condition from persecution in the Siping Prison, Jilin Province. Liang Zhenxing has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison after he participated in broadcasting a programme on TV in 2002 to expose the persecution. -
Two Practitioners from Hubei and Heilongjiang Provinces Die From Persecution
2006-06-09Ms. Liu Kexi, in her 50s started practising Falun Dafa in 1998. Her son, Deng Yong also practises Falun Dafa. In May 2004, agents from the National Security Brigade stormed into Deng Yong's home, arrested him, and searched for Falun Dafa materials. Shortly after, they also searched the home of his mother. Then the National Security Brigade agents put Deng Yong on trial. The court sentenced him to three to four years of imprisonment. When she heard her son sentenced at the courthouse, Ms. Liu Kexi fainted and died three days later. -
Open Letter: Please Help Rescue My Wife Wang Xiaoyan

On May 27th, officers from the Chunhai Police Department arrested my wife as she left home for work. Officers had been waiting outside the building. They broke into my wife's residence and took a computer, two printers, Falun Gong books and leaflets exposing the persecution my wife had made. She was sent to Yaojia Detention Centre. -
Shenyang City Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie Has Died Under Suspicious Circumstances in the Panjin City Prison
2006-06-08Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie was sentenced to an eleven year prison term. Since he persisted in explaining the true situation of Falun Dafa, he was fatally tortured at the Panjin City Prison in Liaoning Province in May 2006. On May 24th, 2006, the Panjin City Prison told Mr. Wu's family members to come to the prison. When they arrived, they found that the body of Wu Liantie had already been placed in the freezer of the Panjin City funeral service centre. The cause and time of his death was unknown. The person who saw Wu Liantie said that Wu had been sent to hospital for rescue. However, upon investigation, the hospital said that Wu Liantie had already died before arriving at the hospital. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Missing After Meeting With VP of European Parliament

One of the two Falun Dafa practitioners, Mr. Cao Dong, 36, who met with Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice President of the European Parliament, on May 21st, 2006 in Beijing, is missing. It is believed he has been arrested by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. Although Cao Dong has been married for many years, the couple has been together for only a few weeks because of the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. -
Calling for Urgent Rescue of Eight Dafa Practitioners in Changde City, Hunan Province Unjustly Sentenced to Prison
2006-06-08On December 20th, 2005, 29 Dafa practitioners were arrested in Changde City and a site producing leaflets exposing the persecution was destroyed. Officers from the Wuling District Police Department in Changde City arrested the practitioners and held them at several detention centres. The persecutors tried to obtain more "evidence" through interrogation. On April 21st, 2006, the Wuling District Procuratorate in Changde City issued a citation statement. In this statement the officials falsely accused Dafa practitioners, who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, of being "members of a criminal gang." -
Watch Out for New Techniques that the Chinese Communist Party Uses to Persecute Dafa Practitioners
2006-06-08A little while ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) declared that they have developed some kind of system that can recognise peoples' voice during phone communications. Through this system, they can recognise the identity of the speakers in communication. At present, this system has gradually been promoted for wider use. If they want to track and recognise a specific person's voice, they first of all need to get a sample of this person's voice on the phone, so they first need to record some section of this person's voice over the phone. As long as your voice on the phone is recorded, then no matter where, when or through what communication device you are making a phone call, this system can recognise you. -
Accounts of Two Practitioners Denied Medical Treatment by the Prisons in Which They Are Being Persecuted
2006-06-08Mr. Bai Shijun and his wife were arrested when they were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. In October 2005, Mr. and Mrs. Bai were each sentenced to four years in prison. On April 24th, 2006, Mr. Bai Shijun's son, received a phone call from Tailai Prison. He was told that his father's health was very precarious and that he should be prepared to take his father home for medical treatment. When his son came to the prison, the head of the No. 3 Squad told him that he needed to submit a 1,000 yuan medical examination fee and also a 2,500-yuan guarantee that his father would return to the prison. The prison has still not released Bai Shijun for medical treatment. -
Sudden Death of Li Deyin in the Hunan Women's Prison
2006-06-07Ms. Li Deyin, 55, was detained in Changsha Women's Prison because she went to Beijing to appeal in 2002. Li Deyin's husband came to the prison to visit her the morning of May 16th, 2006. When he left Li Deyin at 10:00 a.m., Li looked good and told her husband that her prison term would end soon, and she would go home then. At 1:00 p.m. Li's family was informed she was in critical condition in the Changsha Centre Hospital. When they arrived at the hospital to see her, she was unable to speak and was semi-conscious. She died the afternoon of May 25th, 2006. -
Letter from a Practitioner in China to the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong
2006-06-07The persecution of Falun Gong has lasted for seven years. During the seven-year period, I have been driven into exile for four years while my husband has been imprisoned for four years. My underage daughter has been living a very hard life on her own for all these years. In order to try to arrest me, the 610 office often harasses my mother and my mother-in-law. On June 2, 2003, a group of people who claimed to be policemen raided my mother's home one more time. My mother, who is over 70 years old, was living by herself. The policemen asked my mother to surrender me and threatened to arrest her if she refused. She was so worked up and frightened that she suffered a mental collapse. -
Practitioners Forced to Use Contaminated Materials to Manufacture Safety Gloves at Zhongba Women's Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province
2006-06-07In 2001 I was sentenced to three year's forced labour for spreading Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution and was detained in the Zhongba Women's Forced Labour Camp. The No. 2 Division had a workshop that specialised in making safety gloves. The contaminated used fabric was terribly filthy and full of blood stains, dirt, and mildew. The smell was awful. It was common to assign the new arrivals in Division 2 to collect and sort the used cloth. The peculiar smell of decay, mildew, and rot made the sorter sick enough to vomit. -
Tang Jianguo Family of Three in Wuhan City Suffers Severe Persecution
2006-06-07In late September 2005, Tang Jianguo and his son, Tang Xiongchao, were arrested at their home in Hanyang District, Wuhan City. Xiongchao's whereabouts remain unknown. A stranger informed Tang Li, Tang Jianguo's daughter, that her brother is dead. On May 18th, 2006, Li visited her father in the Taojialing Brainwashing Centre, but she never returned home. The brainwashing centre authorities refused to comment on the whereabouts of Tang Jianguo and Tang Li. The Tangs' whereabouts and fates are unknown.
