Criminal Acts Committed by Zengcheng District Police Officers and 610 Office in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province

In December 2000, Ms. Tang Jinai went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She was then arrested and held in the Zengcheng District Detention Centre. She was two months pregnant with her first child at the time. Since the law states a pregnant woman cannot be sentenced to forced labour, police officials Luo Weijun and others from the Zhenlong Town Police Station took her to a hospital against her will and made her have an abortion. Afterwards, they watched her closely. On the eve of the 2001 Chinese New Year, they arrested her and took her to the Zengcheng Drug Rehabilitation Centre. Two months later, the persecutors sentenced her to one and a half years of forced labour. -
The Suffering of An Eight-Year-Old Girl
2007-04-25Bright and pretty young Yu Jiahui is the daughter of practitioners in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Jiahui was born in April 1999, the year in which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong. The persecution has lasted for eight years, and Jiahui is eight years old. During her young life Jiaohui has experienced poverty and homelessness due to the persecution. Jiahui has not seen her father for a long time. He cannot come home because he has to avoid the harassment of the Dalian Education Centre. Recently her mother Ms. Zhou Meihua was arrested when she was informing people on Xiuyue Street about the true nature of Falun Gong. Without the care of her parents, little Jiahui is depressed and feeling hurt. She often sighs like an adult. -
Ms. Zhang Lianying from Beijing Missing After Surgery for Torture-Induced Cerebral Hemorrhage (Photo)
2007-04-25Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Lianying suffered a severe cerebral hemorrhage after being beaten at the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp. She was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. On March 30th, 2007, two days before being removed from the critical condition list for surgery patients, she was taken from the hospital. The forced labour camp said that she was transferred to the hospital at Beijing Tiantanghe Forced Labour Camp, but it refused her family members' requests to visit her at that hospital. -
Official Admits Witnessing Approximately Six Persecution Deaths of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Zibo Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2007-04-25According to information provided by a team leader at Zibo Forced Labour Camp, the labour camp had put clothes on five or six deceased Falun Gong practitioners who died from being persecuted. The following contains information about the practitioners who were persecuted at the labour camp. The labour camp does not allow seriously ill people to seek treatment at outside hospitals. In March 2006, one person was sick for a long time and was not allowed to go to the hospital. He ended being carried by several people to the clinic for some medication, and he died few days later. -
Six Practitioners Sentenced in Shanghai
2007-04-25In late March 2007, the Xuhui District Court in Shanghai sentenced six Falun Dafa practitioners. Ms. Bai Gendi was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, Mr. Zhou Licheng to six years, Ms. You Xiuyun received a six and a half year sentence, Ms. Wang Guifang three and a half years, and Ms. Zhou Qin and Ms. Yuan Xiufang each received two years, with two years suspended. In the court session on March 24th, 2007, the primary evidence for the charges against these six practitioners were nearly 500 unmailed letters to Shanghai government officials asking them not to involve themselves in the persecution against Falun Gong, and printed copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party found at Ms. You Xiuyun's home. -
Mr. Li Wancun's Family in Tai'an City, Shandong Province, Persecuted for Their Belief in Falun Gong
2007-04-25On September 13th, 2005, Ms. Li Hongqin was arrested by the police from Jinan Railroad Bureau when she was informing people about the true nature of Falun Gong on the train. She is still in Jinan City Women's First Labour Camp. On October 25th, 2005, the police broke into their home and arrested Mr. Li Ming. He was sentenced to four years in prison by Tai'an City Court and detained in Tai'an City Yanbei Prison. His health has been severely damaged and he has lymphatic tuberculosis. However, he has not been allowed to be treated outside of the prison. -
Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province Detains Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhu Guilin Past the Legal Limit
2007-04-24In February 2001, Ms. Zhu Guilin was arrested at home and taken to a detention centre by the 610 Office. She held a hunger strike to protest her unjust detainment and persecution. After her initial detainment, Ms. Zhu was sent to the Psychiatric Section of the Shimen City People's Hospital and injected with unknown nerve-damaging drugs. As a result, she displayed symptoms of dementia and she could not sit or stand. On October 8th, 2004, Ms. Zhu Guilin was arrested again and was sentenced to a two-and-a-half-year-term in the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. She held a hunger strike from January to March 2007, and was brutally force-fed and injected with unknown drugs many times. The Baimalong Forced Labour Camp still refuses to release Zhu Guilin. -
Further Details about the Death of Mr. Bai Xiaojun, a College Professor, Who Died in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province in 2003
2007-04-24Mr. Bai Xiaojun, a professor at Northeast Normal University, began practising Falun Dafa in 1993. In July 2000, he was arrested and unlawfully sentenced to one year of forced labour because he went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. He was transferred to a brainwashing centre after he had served one and a half years--six months beyond his sentence--in the labour camp. In April 2002, Mr. Bai was again sentenced, this time to three years of forced labour due to his refusal to give up cultivation practice. He died in July 2003, at the age of 36, in Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp. -
I Was Tortured and Forced into Slave Labour at Jinan First Female Prison in Shandong Province
2007-04-24I was abducted to Jinan First Female Prison in October of 2002. Due to worrying about my being enslaved and tortured, my mother-in-law passed away on December 5th that year. We were forced to do intense labour such as making clothes and sewing. The director of the fourth division Xu forced us to work in the basement, which was very humid. The conditions were terrible. My rheumatism, which had been cured through practising Falun Gong, recurred under such harsh conditions. We were forced to work from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next morning. The earliest quitting time was 12:00 a.m. Besides meal and toilet breaks, we worked non-stop. -
The Chinese Communist Party Squanders Taxpayer Money to Persecute Falun Gong
2007-04-24In order to persecute Falun Gong, the Chinese Communist government uses its dictatorial power and taxpayers' money to set up huge organisations with large amounts of manpower, materials and financial resources. These organisations monitor the telephone calls of Falun Gong practitioners and place their movements under surveillance. They oversee the brainwashing of imprisoned practitioners. The so-called "Legal Centres" have been in existence since 2001, in order to try to force practitioners to give up their beliefs. In Zhaoqing City, the government provides three thousand yuan to the facility as a brainwashing fee for persecuting each Falun Gong practitioner. The practitioner's employer is required to provide three thousand yuan plus the staff's salary, about ten thousand yuan each month. -
Latest Persecution News Regarding Practitioners from Chang'an No. One Factory Area in Chongqing City
2007-04-24Practitioner Mr. Xiang Shihua was transferred to the Xishanping Forced Labour Camp. For the past few years, Mr. Xiang's whole family has been persecuted severely by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In 2002, his wife, Ms. Luo Peiping, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for distributing Falun Gong materials. Their son, Xiang Dong, was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing Falun Gong materials. During his detention in the Banan District Detention Centre, Xiang Dong was persecuted until he was paralysed. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Xinzhong's Condition Deteriorates; Family Calls for Medical Parole

Mr. Wang Xinzhong has been arrested numerous times since 1999 for persisting in his belief in Falun Dafa. He sustained lower back injuries from the beatings and brutal tortures while in custody. He is currently held at a detention centre. His wife, and daughter Wang Bo were sentenced to four years and five years in prison, respectively. A happy family was torn apart because of the persecution. Recently, Wang Xinzhong experienced increased health problems, including a relapse of heart disease and high blood pressure. -
Older Ms. Xue Guiqing Has Died As a Result of Torture in Tianjin Female Prison
2007-04-23Since July 20th 1999, Ms. Xue Guiqing, 54, had been detained at police stations, detention centres, forced labour camps and prisons. Her husband had been under pressure from the police for years and could no longer bear it. One night he tried to strangle Ms. Xue when she was asleep, but did not succeed. Her husband tied her up and beat her legs hard until they were all bloody and smashed. In February 2006 she was taken back to Tianjin Female Prison. On March 14th, 2007, the prison informed Ms. Xue's family to take her home. By this time she was nearly dead and weighed less than 30kg. Two days later Ms. Xue passed away. -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners by Perpetrators in Gucheng County, Shandong Province (Part 1)
2007-04-23In October 2002, police officers took practitioners Li Kongfa and Li Hongjie to the city police bureau. They cuffed the practitioners' hands behind their backs and made them lie face down on the ground. Then the officers shocked them using two electric batons, from 9:00 a.m. until the evening. The practitioners were shocked numerous times; every shock burned their flesh, and the intense pain caused them to perspire heavily. When one person grew tired from shocking the practitioners, another one took over. As a result of this torture, the practitioners had their skin broken and bruised all over. Finally, the villains forced family members of the two practitioners to pay 3,000 yuan each. -
Additional Information about How Zhao Wenpeng Was Savagely Persecuted to Death by the Guiyang Public Security Hospital
2007-04-23On August 10th, Mr. Zhao Wenpeng was arrested for exposing the persecution of Falun Gong and taken to the Guiyang Yunyan District Detention Centre. Zhao Wenpeng was subjected to various forms of physical torture by the guards in the detention centre. By December 3rd, after three months and twenty-four days of being detained and tortured at the detention centre, Zhao Wenpeng's whole body was swollen. On the outside of his left thigh there was a large festering hole that continuously dripped pus. At this time he was transferred to the Guiyang Public Security Hospital to be further persecuted. Zhao Wenpeng died on March 7th, 2007. He was 41 years old.
