Recent Situation of Persecuted Practitioner Ms. Shao Lihong from Jilin Province

58-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Shao Lihong has been staging a hunger strike for a very long time in the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City to protest the persecution. The police guards force-fed her in a brutal manner. As a result she had an ulcer in her mouth and oesophagus, and her lungs became swollen. The guards also forced her to go into the canteen at every meal time. At this moment she is extremely weak and has been in critical condition several times. -
Mr. Zhang Shunlong Tortured and Killed in Police Custody
2006-06-12On May 26th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Shunlong, 44, was arrested from his home by policemen and tortured and killed on the same day. His body was cremated on May 28th, 2006 without his family's approval. His wife, also in detention at the time, was very distraught by his sudden death. She appeared mentally disoriented, and was released home. -
The Brutal Torture I Experienced in 2002 at The Haidian District Detention Centre
2006-06-12The Haidian District Detention Centre brutally beat Falun Gong practitioners. My face was beaten until it was distorted beyond recognition, with wounds covering my entire face. Anyone who saw my face at that time would have been horrified. My chest was also beaten so badly that I had difficulty breathing and could not stop coughing. Coughing caused me to double over in severe pain. To further torture Falun Gong practitioners, the Detention Centre created a device that had a sharp side pointing up regardless how it was placed on the ground. The sharp edge was about 4 centimetres (less than 0.39 inches) high. When I was forced to sit on this torture stool, the sharp edges cut into my flesh and hurt severely. -
Four Dafa Practitioners from Anhui Province, Receive Unjust Prison Terms
2006-06-12Practitioner Chen Xiuan went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa in October 1999. Since then he was detained several times and kept under surveillance on his release. On April 25th, 2005, police arrested him a third time and they secretly sentenced him to an thirteen years in prison. The police arrested practitioner Huang Bangjun, 64, and his wife, 63, and sentenced them to three-year and two-year prison terms, respectively. The police also sentenced practitioner Wang Ziqiang to thirteen years in prison. -
The Tricks that the Chinese Communist Party Uses to Deceive People in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-06-12The guard of our cell was Zhang Huan. She was 25. When she was beating me, she said, "I don’t want beat you, but Chief Su told us to." I bled a lot due to the torture, and I was too weak to turn over in bed. Su Jing, the chief of the labour camp, came to see me with a bag of formula. She said, "Drink it to get some nutrition. I will buy you more when you finish this bag." Some people in our cell, who were already "transformed" and didn’t know the truth, were moved by Su's behaviour. They didn’t know that she was behind this brutal torture and had directed it. Su Jing was an evil person who pretended to be nice. -
Daqing Railroad Authority Arrests Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-06-12Since July 1999, police officers from the Daqing Railway Station in Heilongjiang Province have been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Enticed by cash rewards, officers on duty often stop and search passengers as they please. They use abusive language in the hope of finding Falun Dafa practitioners among the passengers. In 2005, while trying to board the No.2155 Train, a female Falun Dafa practitioner was arrested by three police officers at the checking gate. Zhou Yanwu, the officer at the check gate was rewarded 500 yuan. -
Older Lady, Ms. Yu Fuxiang Died Tragically Under Persecution
2006-06-11We do not know exactly what tortures 55-year-old Ms. Yu endured, but only know that she had been on a hunger strike for several days, was whipped by a leather belt and was handcuffed with her ankles shackled. Ms. Yu lived a hard life with courage, but she was afraid of being arrested to a great extent! Ms. Yu died tragically, and the only thing she left was a receipt proving that Zhou Yuhua from the First Branch Office of Huangzhou City Police Department extorted 500 yuan from her. -
Practitioners Mr. Hong Fei and Ms. Liu Shumin Persecuted to Death by Police Officer Lu Ping and his Colleagues in Qinhuangdao
2006-06-11Police broke into practitioner Mr. Wu Wenjin's home on March 7th, 2006. They arrested seven practitioners from Mr. Wu's home and beat them without reason. One practitioner, Mr. Hong Fei, was terribly frightened and did not have the strength to stand. The police insisted on dragging him into the police car. On the way to the police station, the policemen discovered that Mr. Hong was dying, so they dumped him on the roadside and covered him with a blanket, trying to avoid any responsibility. Mr. Hong, a college student, spent his last moments in in a roadside ditch on a cold and windy night. He was only 21 years old. -
Practitioners Cruelly Tortured in Wuling Prison
2006-06-11More than a thousand Falun Dafa practitioners have been detained in Wuling Prison in Changde City, Hunan Province, since 2003. Guards force the practitioners to labour more than 12 hours a day. They curse and beat them, and torture is a daily routine. They often use truncheons, electric batons, wooden sticks, or bamboo sticks to beat practitioners, breaking open their skin and flesh and even injuring bones and joints. Another torture is to suspend them by handcuffs. -
China Central Television (CCTV) Channel 10 Unwittingly Exposes Details about Live Organ Harvesting Situation
2006-06-11China's Central Television's (CCTV) aired an actual organ transplant segment in a TV programme entitled, "Life and Death Reversal" on May 26th and 27th, 2006. It was decided that Beijing patient Song Yongle would go to Dalian City to undergo heart transplant surgery in February 2005. The suspicious point is that that Xinhua Hospital affiliated with Dalian University had in February quickly set the transplant surgery date for March 5th. The programme mentioned that the time elapsed from the moment of the donor's brain death to the removal of the heart and lung was no more than six minutes. The donor's organ removal surgery started at 7:00 a.m. and finished at 7:55 a.m. on March 5th, which means the donor must have been alive during the period of 55 minutes. -
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jinling From Shenzhou City Tortured Repeatedly
2006-06-11In April, 2006, eight police officers of the Shenzhou City Security Bureau in Hebei Province, broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Jinling's house and attempted to arrest her. Her husband was driven beyond the limits of tolerance and angrily expelled them. Over recent years, Ms. Zhang has suffered repeated persecution from the local security bureau, forced labour camp, and brainwashing centre. She was once cruelly treated with the torture of "burying alive." -
Ms. Huang Yanli Persecuted to Death in the Nanjing Women's Prison, Ms. Xue Shuyu and Others in Critical Condition
2006-06-10Huang Yanli, less than forty years old, was detained in the No. 5 prison area. Her erythema, which was cured through the practice of Falun Gong, relapsed in the prison. However, the prison authorities did not take her to see a doctor or release her on medical parole, but continued to lock her up until she was near death. Ms. Huang passed away several days after being released from prison. -
Ms Zhang Fuxiang Almost Tortured to Death at the Shandong Province First Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-06-10Ms. Zhang Fuxiang was imprisoned in the Forced Labour Camp for more than three years and suffered brutal torture. The guard are given incentives such as promotions and pay rises to reach a higher "transformation rate", and are punished when they don't meet their goals. The guards thus tortured practitioners cruelly, trying to force them to "transform." Using the excuse that Ms. Fuxiang had some stomach problems, guards force-fed her with some 'medicine' three times a day with soup made from vegetables that had gone bad. They also forced her to put on earphones and played recordings that kept insulting Falun Dafa with loud noises of smashing metal and forcing her to squat. Guards also kicked and beat her. -
Supplementary Information on the Death of Mr. Pan Hongdong from Heilongjiang Province

On November 4th, 2001, Dafa practitioner Mr. Pan Hongdong was arrested by officers. In detention he was tortured on a Tiger Bench and his genitals were shocked with electric batons. Pan Hongdong went on a hunger strike for 3 days. He was then sent to the detention centre and detained unconstitutionally. At the end of 2002, Pan was sentenced to 10 years in prison. As a result of the torture, he died on May 15th, 2005. -
Wanjia Labour Camp Continues to Refuse to Release Liu Shuzhen Even After She Has Been Severely Tortured and Injured
2006-06-10In October 2004, Ms. Liu Shuzhen, a 50-year-old Dafa practitioner, was reported to the authorities while explaining the true situation of Falun Dafa to people and was arrested. She was sentenced to three years of re-education through labour. Because she refused to denounce Falun Dafa her back and legs were shocked were electric batons. Many parts of her body turned purple with wounds and she was slapped in the face. Liu Shuzhen was tied up on a bed with her hands bound behind her back and left in a squatting position for seven days and seven nights. She became disabled as a result. A year has passed, and even today she still cannot walk properly and sways when she walks.
