The Atrocities at the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Xia was arrested and taken to the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp. Police attempted to force her to write a "guarantee statement". She refused. The police then shocked her for half an hour with electric batons. The prison guards then drafted a guarantee statement for her and physically forced her hand to sign the paper. Later she was dragged into a small room on the second floor where evildoers again shocked her with electric batons. Soon after that she was further tortured. The prison guards used the so-called, "Tying the ropes" torture twice. This all happened on her first day in the labour camp. -
Ms. Xu Ailian Suffers Mental Breakdown from Torture at Baimalong Forced Labour Camp
2006-03-10Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Ailian was tortured until she had a mental breakdown at Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. Unlawful personnel and criminals at Baimalong Forced Labour Camp tortured her with methods such as piercing her fingers with nails and mixing drugs into her food. In April 2005, two months after Xu Ailian was released, the police came to arrest her again, and sentenced her to another year in a forced labour camp. She was detained at Baimalong Forced Labour Camp again. There, she was persecuted until she suffered a mental collapse. -
Teeth Pried Open with a Crowbar, a Teacher is Brutally Force Fed
2006-03-10"Twice I was thrown into jail. Police used an iron rod to beat me, and my hands were handcuffed and my feet put in shackles. In addition, I was force-fed. Some guards held my hands and some my feet. Some held my head, some pinched my nose to block my breath, some pinched my neck repeatedly, some held my chest, and some used a crowbar to pry open my teeth. All my teeth were pried loose. The flesh in my mouth was torn and turned inside out. They then used the crowbar to force my mouth open horizontally, and then shoved it to the back of my throat to hold down my tongue. The pain was beyond description." -
Practitioners in Daqing Prison Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution
2006-03-10Prison Director Wang Yongxiang, who came to the prison in October of last year, is especially cruel and merciless. He personally directs the persecution in Daqing Prison. On January 26th 2006, Wang publicly beat several practitioners and locked them all up in solitary confinement to torture them. After learning of this ill treatment, other practitioners began a hunger strike on January 27th to protest. Director Wang Yongxiang instigated the prison hospital Chief Gao Qing and Deputy Chief Huang Zhiwei to force-feed these practitioners with salt water once a day. He also ordered each ward to send practitioners to the prison hospital for forced intravenous injections. -
The Torture and Abuse Suffered by Dafa Practitioner Wang Mingduo Before He Died
2006-03-09Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Mingduo was dismissed from the bank where he worked because of his practice of Falun Dafa. He was sentenced to a forced labour camp. On the way to the camp, police officer Liu Kanhua fiercely told Wang Mingduo, "Don't expect to get out this time. I just want you to die. I will make you die in the labour camp and you won't even know how you died!" Wang Mingduo used to be a strong and healthy person with a kind heart, but he was tortured to death by Liu Kanhua and others within a period of 84 days. His family was shattered. -
Tianjin Women's Forced Labour Camp Enslaves Dafa Practitioners
2006-03-09There are many things that Dafa practitioners were forced to do in Tianjin Women's Forced Labour Camp such as sewing shirts. The shirts exported to Japan were required to be hand-made. Therefore, prisoners usually worked from the early morning until midnight. Even 70-year-old people had to meet a certain quota of work everyday. Also, whoever lost a needle would not be allowed to go to sleep until the needle was found. Practitioners were charged 100 yuan for any shirts damaged by a sewing mistake. -
Zhuolu County Authorities Arrested and Extorted Funds from Practitioner Ms. Zhou Jianzhen
2006-03-09Ms. Zhou Jianzhen used to make a comfortable living, but now, due to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution, her family's living conditions have become very difficult. As an excellent teacher at the city level, simply because she has faith in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance, she has been tortured and is now suffering from illegal detention, brainwashing, beating and cursing. Ms. Zhou has been held in a brainwashing centre for almost eight months. In the process of trying to rescue his wife, Ms. Zhou Jianzhen's husband had about 30,000 extorted from him by the local 610 Office and people from the Zhuolu Middle School. -
Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Duan Shibao in Shaanxi Province
2006-03-09Police arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Duan Shibao on October 25th, 2004. He was savagely tortured. The police searched him and handcuffed him behind his back. They tied his feet with a belt and put him in a vehicle. They drove him to the police station where they immediately beat and tortured him. During the past few years of persecution, Duan Shibao was sent to brainwashing centres and detention centres three times. He was held in a custody centre once, and in a labour camp for two years. This time he was sentenced to eight years in prison. -
Gao Guang'en, Falun Dafa Practitioner In His Fifties from Shuangcheng City, Dies from Persecution
2006-03-0852-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Gao Guang'en passed away on the morning of January 5th, 2006, from the persecution. Over the past few years, due to his perseverance in practising Falun Dafa, Mr. Gao's house had been broken into several times. He had also been unjustly arrested, had money extorted from him, and was imprisoned, tortured and harassed by the local police on several occasions. Gao Guang'en suffered immense torture until he was emaciated, fainted on the ground many times, and could not even walk, before he was allowed to be brought home by his relatives. -
United Nations Refugee Ms. Zhang Xinyi Illegally Imprisoned in Hunan Provincial Women's Prison
2006-03-08Ms. Zhang Xinyi is a Falun Gong practitioner and United Nations refugee. On April 28th, 2005, she was arrested by the Tianxin District Public Security Sub-Bureau in Changsha City. At the same time, her family home was ransacked and personal property was confiscated. In August, soon after a secret trial and without her family members being informed, Ms. Zhang was sentenced to a three-year term of imprisonment by the Tianxin District Court. The fact that United Nations refugee Ms. Zhang is being persecuted again reveals the Chinese Communist Party's true nature. It blatantly ignores international law and international human rights treaties. -
Practitioner Ms Ma Chunli from Jilin Province Near Death from Torture, Officials Refuse to Release Her
2006-03-08Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Chunli was arrested and persecuted. The detention centre villains subjected her to all kinds of violent methods: a torture called the "Stretching Bed," handcuffed and hung up, tied up with ropes, beatings, violently force-feeding in which the perpetrators pried her teeth open with a tool and all kinds of other evil tactics they could dream up. Fourteen months have passed since her arrest. -
Nie Chunling's Open Letter to Demand the Release of Her Husband
2006-03-08"My family were able to learn Falun Dafa, and ever since, we have walked on a path of cultivation. Our family relationship improved tremendously and we lived happily together. Our business improved, as well. However, once the persecution started our house was broken into countless times. I was arrested 18 times, and my husband was in and out of labour camps. All of our savings was taken away by the Public Security Bureau through illegal fines and various fees. Our restaurant was forced to close down, which resulted in another huge loss." -
38 Practitioners Detained After Appeal in Hebei Province
2006-03-07Thirty-eight Falun Dafa practitioners from Dachang County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, were detained after appealing for the release of fellow practitioners. Mr. Li Dejun and Ms. Liu Shuying's two daughters ages 12 and 15 are detained in the Dachang County Detention Centre. To protest this illegal persecution, several practitioners began a hunger strike February 5th, 2006. In the detention centre, practitioners were brutally assaulted to the extent that some nearly had their teeth knocked out. One practitioner was stripped of his winter clothing, tied to a wall, and forced to endure the harsh winter night with all the windows open. -
More Information about Ms. Song Yulian, In Her Fifties, Who Was Persecuted to Death
2006-03-07Ms. Song Yulian was 52 years old. When she told people, who had been misled by the government propaganda, the facts about Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution in April 2002, she was reported to the authorities and detained at the No. 2 Detention Centre of Xiangfang City. She was brutally tortured. Later, because of her high blood pressure, the detention centre was afraid of take responsibility for her and released her. In January 18th, 2004 she passed away at home. -
Four Older People from Hebei and Gansu Provinces Pass Away as a Result of Persecution
2006-03-07Ms. Zang Guilian, 63 years old, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa on July 20th, 1999. The police arrested her and kept her under close monitoring for a long period of time. During this time, she was forced to attend many meetings that slandered Falun Gong and attempted to brainwash her. She was forced to pay 10,000 yuan in the name of bail. She received a notice requesting that she sign the guarantee letter to renounce Falun Dafa or she would be arrested. She contracted an illness and died on December 23rd, 2004.
