• Several Practitioners Brutally Persecuted at Jilin Prison - Their Situation is Dire

  The guards and officials at Jilin No. 2 Prison have been brutally persecuting unjustly held Falun Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Fengcai is 33 years old, and lived in Fengchan Village, Mingyue Town, Antu County, Jilin Province. He is now being held in the No. 3 Prison Area. On May 13th 2005, Wang Fengcai was subjected to forcible brainwashing. He refused to compromise. The police and three "collaborators" locked him in a solitary confinement cell. Wang Fengcai went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution and became critically ill. He has been sent to Jilin Railway Hospital and is on the verge of death.

• The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp

  Each Falun Dafa practitioner detained in Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp was targeted by two or three "personal cangues" - the criminals designated by the police to forcefully control the practitioner's behaviour. The practitioners who do not give in are usually attacked verbally or beaten. They have to stand facing the wall for long periods of time and are deprived of sleep or not allowed to wash their faces or take a shower. Even relieving their bowels is forbidden. Some are persecuted by electric baton shocking or being hung up with their hands cuffed behind their backs.

• Manipulated by the "610 Office", Shiyan City Court Sentences Ms. He Jiao to Prison

  After Ms. He Jiao was illegally sentenced to three years imprisonment, her husband became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Their nine-year-old daughter had to live with her uncle's family in the countryside. Upon hearing the news, He Jiao's mother immediately fell ill with increased high blood pressure and a nearly collapsed spirit. She was unable to get out of bed for days.

• More Facts about the Persecution Suffered by Mrs. Du Guihua in Jiamusixigemu Forced Labour Camp

  44-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mrs. Du Guihua was unjustly arrested in October 2002 and sentenced to three years in the Jiamusixigemu Forced Labour Camp, where she suffered all sorts of torture and brutal persecution, and developed numerous tumours in her body. She was released in 2005 after her family's persistent requests.

• Falun Gong Practitioner Zheng Zhihong Sues for Unlawful Persecution

  Mr. Zheng Zhihong is a Falun Gong practitioner from Hubei Province. His father, Mr. Zheng Zhong, died because he was severely persecuted for his belief in Falun Gong. On March 11th 2004, his father's work unit organised a memorial service for him. Mr. Zheng Zhihong delivered a eulogy at the service. On May 20th 2004, he was arrested because of the eulogy. The local court issued a preliminary verdict and Mr. Zheng appealed it. On February 28th 2005, the intermediate court denied his appeal and upheld the original sentence, a five-year prison term. Mr. Zheng, other Falun Gong practitioners and people with a sense of justice think he should be cleared of the charges.

• Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Pu Fanwei Is on the Brink of Death from Torture at Daqing City Prison

  Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Pu Fanwei is being held in No. 4 Prison Ward at Daqing Prison. He has been on a hunger strike for over 30 days in protest of the persecution. His current blood pressure is 40 mmHg / 70 mmHg. Mr. Pu is emaciated and is receiving IV infusions at the prison. He is in critical condition. Guard Guo Chuntang screamed, "What's the big deal if we kill a couple of detainees here at Daqing Prison?" Guard Li Fengjiang once said in public, "For Falun Gong practitioners, it's either "reform" or cremation."

• Atrocities at Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp: Burning Fingernails, Using People as Punching Bags, Violent Beatings

  The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiangfu four times because he persisted in practising Falun Gong. At Tiananmen Square, a police officer pushed him to the ground, stepped on his head and beat him until his face became deformed. At the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp the guards burned his hands until they turned black and his fingernails fell off. The back of his hands were scorched and he was also forced to sit in a metal chair for 15 days straight. The perpetrators also invented a torture. They put handles on needles and shot them at the practitioners like darts. The needles stuck deep in the flesh and caused excruciating pain.

• Financial Persecution of Practitioners in Panjin City

  Since the persecution began on July 20th 1999 Falun Gong practitioners in Panjin City, Liaoning Province have suffered severe financial persecution in addition to physical and spiritual persecution. According to the statistics from Xinglongtai District and Dawa County, Falun Gong practitioners in these two areas suffered a direct loss of 1,343,000 yuan, 443,000 yuan of which were in the form of illegal fines, 320,000 in the form of money extorted by police, and 580,000 in the form of suspended salaries.

  Officers ransacked homes of Falun Gong practitioners, confiscated valuables, and kept the cash found on the premises without issuing legal papers. When confronted about the articles taken, they simply deny taking them. "We don't issue receipts on anything confiscated from Falun Gong practitioners. It's no use asking us. The money will not be returned anyway. If we had given you a receipt, what would happen if you exposed us on the Internet?".

  On July 19th, 2004, officer Chang Yijun from the Huaiyang County 610 Office ordered Lutai Police Station to arrest me. They carried me away and arrested my son Song He. That same night, they took me to the Huaiyang County Planned Birth Station and wanted to abort my baby there, but I refused to sign the agreement. Around 2 p.m. the next day, eight people, including Song Duohai, Li Guang, and Liang, forcefully induced labour and killed my nearly nine-month-old baby.

• Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Limao from Shanghai Died after Being Injected With Unknown Substance

  Ms. Li Limao lived on Huaihaizhong Street, Luwan District, Shanghai. She was reported to the authorities after revealing the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people in October of 2004. She was arrested by policemen from the Ruijin Station in Luwan District and sentenced to one year at forced labour. From April to May 2004, she was bailed out on medical parole because of a liver problem. She was forcibly sent to the hospital by the police, and at the hospital she was injected with an unknown substance. She died several days later.

• Practitioner Ms. Fu Rufang from Chongqing Reduced to Skin and Bones and Loses Two Teeth at a Forced Labour Camp in Less than a Month

  Ms. Fu Rufang is an employee of the Tongnan Disease Control Centre in Chongqing. On April 8th, 2005, when she was on a trip to her hometown, Ms. Ru was followed and arrested. She refused to eat for eight days and won her way out of the detention centre. On May 22nd she was again suddenly arrested and once again sent to Maojiashan Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing. In less than one month, she had lost two incisors and had become emaciated and extremely weak as a result of persecution.

  During Ms. Wen's imprisonment, the police ruthlessly beat her to the brink of death. Once she was illegally detained for more than 14 days by the Linghe Public Security Bureau. For more than 10 days she was handcuffed in a small, poorly ventilated cell. She was tortured until she vomited blood. She was denied all contact with others while imprisoned in a large room and was severely tortured. The police exhorted 2500 yuan from Ms. Wen's relatives.

• Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Xia Linkun Dies After Being Tortured at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City

  31-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xia Linkun was from Jilin Province. He was tortured for more than two and a half years in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp with electric batons, "riding an airplane", "massage", punching, kicking, sitting on a small stool, and other physical abuse. When he was released in the summer of 2004, he was so thin that he looked disfigured. He was forced to leave his home to avoid being arrested. His body never recovered from the torture, and he died on the evening of July 15th 2005.

• Falun Gong Practitioner Guo Henghong from Hubei Province Died as a Result of Persecution in 2002

  Ms. Guo Henghong, 36, was fired by her company because she persisted in practising Falun Gong. She was arrested three times, and was subjected to shackles, tortures and brutal force-feeding. Ms. Guo was released in June 2001 when the force-feeding made her stomach bleed. She was forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution. Yet she was severely weakened by the persecution and passed away in July 2002.
