Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lin Chunfang Beaten to Death by Police in Tianjin

On November 15, 2004, Ms. Lin Chunfang was distributing Falun Gong information in a residential area when she was stopped by police. The police brutally beat and tortured her. In just 24 hours, this kind middle-aged lady was beaten to the verge of death. Afraid of being held responsible, the police sent Ms. Lin to the hospital. However due to the severe trauma from torture, she died at 6am on November 23, 2004, only 8 days after she was arrested. -
Baicheng City Falun Gong Practitioner, Mr. Wu Quanyi, Dies as a Result of Persecution
2004-12-02Fifty-two year old Mr. Wu Quanyi, former deputy secretary of the People's Committee of Baicheng City was arrested in September 2001, because he practised Falun Dafa and was not afraid to tell people the truth about it. In October of that year, Mr. Wu was sentenced to three years of forced labour, and during his detention he suffered greatly both physically and mentally. He escaped while on medical parole and was forced to become homeless until he died on March 6, 2004. -
The Barbaric Torture I Endured at the Dalian Forced Labour Camp
2004-12-02"On November 22, 1999, my older sister and I went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise Falun Gong. From then on I was detained in detention centres and a labour camp several times. Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Que Shanyan from Fujian Province Tortured to Death in 2001
2004-12-01Mr. Que Shanyan was in his 60's and a villager from Fujian Province. He went to Beijing twice to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and was detained twice by Shanghang County Police. During the second detention, he was tortured by police for his unyielding faith in Falun Dafa. He became very weak and died at noon on January 31, 2001 in Shanghang County Detention Centre. -
Ms. Yang Mingfen from Guangdong Province Dies After Years of Mistreatment and Abuse During the Persecution
2004-12-01On January 4, 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Mingfen and several other practitioners from Guangzhou Province were arrested by police while painting "Falun Dafa Is Good" on the wall outside Maoming Estate. After being detained for two months, Ms. Yang was sentenced to one year in the Sansui Women's Forced Labour Camp and forced to sign documents swearing to give up her belief. After her release she declared that the so-called "transformation" statement was wrong. She was imprisoned again, brutally tortured and died on October 26, 2004. -
54 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Yuzhen from Hubei Province Passed Away in 2003 as a Result of Persecution
2004-12-0154 year old Ms. Li Yuzhen, from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, was a retired employee of Wuhan City Sixth Pharmaceutical Company. As a Falun Dafa practitioner she felt it was important to let people know the truth about the practice when the reputation of Dafa is being undermined. For her efforts to clarify the facts, she was detained twice. Because of the long-term physical and mental persecution, Li Yuzhen passed away in January 2003. -
The Torture in Jilin City No. 1 Detention Centre and Jilin Province Heizuizi Women's Prison

On May 29th 2001, Jilin City No. 1 Detention Centre sent Yu Lixin and me to prison. My first experience in the prison was a policeman rushing right up in front of my face, grabbing me, throwing dirt at me constantly, and beating me with his hands and feet. The director of the detention centre and a police officer were both there at the time, but neither of them stopped him. -

The police warden punished the practitioners who refused to renounce their belief with the "Flying Airplane" torture. The victim is forced to bend his body at a right angle to the legs, and raise his arms behind his back. The guards even pushed the victims' heads under the table. The torture is so painful that the victims' sweat soaked a large area of the cement floor. -
Practitioners Are Still Being Tortured at Daqing Prison in Heilongjiang Province

In February 2004, Daqing Prison established the "Forced Transformation Team". Groups of ten criminals and one guard were responsible for "transforming" a single Falun Dafa practitioner. The team tortured the practitioners around the clock to force them to renounce their belief so the criminals could have their sentences reduced. -
"610 Office" Arrest a Doctor Who Refuses to Obey Their Unreasonable Demands
2004-11-30"610 Office" officials had brought a patient with psychosis to Falun Dafa practitioner Dr. Hu Jinzhao's office at the Yunnan Province Psychiatric Hospital. Seeking to slander Falun Dafa, they asked Dr. Hu to certify that the patient had become psychotic because of practising Falun Gong. He refused their request, and clarified the truth about Falun Gong to them. The "610 Office" officials saw the three words, "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance," under the glass on his desk, so they asked him if he practised Falun Gong. Dr. Hu said yes! -
Practitioner Yu Ming Secretly Transferred Numerous Times for Suing Jiang While Detained in a Labour Camp
2004-11-30Falun Dafa practitioner Mr Yu Ming was admired and feared by re-education team leaders and custodians that monitored him the various labour camps he was incarcerated in. He wrote an appeal to sue Jiang Zemin for his criminal actions towards practitioners and their families and was detained by the team leader. In the end, Yu Ming walked out of the camp due to his upright state of mind. -
When Can Five-Year-Old Zhan Xuanhong Be Reunited with His Imprisoned Father, Mother and Grandmother?
2004-11-30A boy named Zhan Xuanhong was born in November 1999. He lives in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. He has been separated from family members since he was a toddler due to the persecution of Falun Gong, and has suffered tremendously. When he was only two years old, he was deprived of his father's care. Later, he was deprived of his mother's as well. -

Seventy-Year-Old Wang Yuefeng from Baishan City Dies Due to Persecution
2004-11-29Wang Yuefeng began to practise Falun Gong in January 1998. After July 20th, 1999, she was often harassed. Her husband Chen Jungong, a seventy-eight year-old Falun Gong practitioner, was also seriously harassed and, as a result, passed away several months later. Officials from the Political Section and the police station came to pressure Ms. Wang soon after her husband's death, illegally searching her house every other day. She was forced to leave home and passed away on July 16th, 2004. -
