How Practitioner Ms Yang Jingying, In Her Fifties, Was Persecuted to Death

53 year old Ms. Yang Jingying, a Falun Gong practitioner from Anhui Province, was abducted by police in April 2002 and detained for one year and eight months. She was subjected to all kinds of tortures. She was subjected to so much torture that she became paralyzed and could no long control her bodily functions. Several days after her release, she died from the persecution. -
A Family Tragedy (Photos)
2004-10-12A family practises Falun Gong and has been torn apart due to the unjust persecution. The parents, both elderly have suffered an untold tragedy. Both of their children are university graduates and they are eager to contribute to society. Instead, they are being held in labour camps and detention centres, and are being tortured. Their younger daughter was strapped to a metal door in the winter for three days and three nights until she lost the feeling in her arms; she was tied to a bed 14 hours a day, face up, and was force-fed. She was held in a solitary confinement cell for six months. -
An Account of the Brutal Persecution Suffered by Sichuan Province Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhou Huimin, Over the Past Several Years (Photos)
2004-10-12After the persecution of Falun Gong began, between December 5, 1999 and July 8, 2003, Ms. Zhou was illegally arrested six times. Three times she was sent to the Nanmusi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Sichuan Province. During her 856 days of detention there, Ms. Zhou was tortured with various cruel methods. She protested the detention and abuse through hunger strikes eight times, demanding her unconditional release. Her longest hunger strike lasted 89 days, from September 2 to November 29, 2002, during which time her internal organs and the muscles throughout her body became severely atrophied. In the end, with her strong righteous belief and righteous thoughts, she walked out of the labour camp. -
More Facts about the Torture which Led to the Death of Mr. Tang Jian
2004-10-11Mr. Tang Jianwas a Falun Gong practitioner. Since he refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong, he was tortured until injuries covered every part of his body. He died at home after telling his family about the tortures he suffered at the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp. Tang Jian died on July 9, 2004, from the brutal torture he received at the camp. A strong and excellent teacher died of torture at the age of 39 just because he firmly followed the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance!". -
Guards at Majialong Forced Labour Camp Torture Elderly Dafa Practitioner Ms Tian Jinzhi to Near Death
2004-10-11On January 30, 2002, when Falun Dafa practitioner Ms Tian Jinzhi, over 50 years old, from Jiangxi Province clarified the facts about Falun Gong, police abducted her and interrogated her for forty-eight hours. During this time, they did not allow her to eat, drink, or use the toilet. On February 2, 2002, they held Ms. Tian in the detention centre and then sent her to Majialong Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Tian suffered from all kinds of tortures: merciless beatings, electric shock, forced bending from the waist, and prolonged standing with the front of her body pressed against a wall. -

Huludao City Falun Dafa Practitioners Appeal To Courts, Accuse the Persecutors Who Brutally Tortured Mr Yu Yingnan
2004-10-11Dafa practitioner Mr Yu Yingnan has been detained in Huludao City Forced Labour Camp twice for practising Falun Gong. The first time he was detained from June 24, 2000 to October 23, 2001. The second time began June 16, 2002, with his term due to end sometime next year. He has undergone vicious torture. Prison guards took off all of Yu's clothes and shocked every part of Yu's body with electric batons, including his head, face, neck, shoulders armpits, back, chest, abdomen, waist, hands, legs and feet. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr Xu Dongqun and Ms Zhou Yun Tortured to Death
2004-10-10Mr. Xu Dongqun was a 53-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Wuhan City, Hubei Province. On July 20, 1999, in order to say a good word for Falun Dafa, Mr. Xu went to Beijing to appeal. He was arrested and tortured multiple times. Unable to recover from the torture he underwent, he died on January 30, 2004. Ms. Zhou Yun was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Yichang City, Hubei Province, who was around 55 years old. She was tortured many times in her hometown, and was forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. She died outside Yichang City in October 2003. -
Another Cruel Forced-Feeding Method Used by Detention Centre in Hubei Province
2004-10-10The public security personnel in the Shiyan First Detention Centre in Hubei Province are very sinister in dealing with Falun Dafa practitioners who go on hunger strike. The perpetrators will usually force-feed practitioners every other day with a highly salted flour gruel after the fourth day of their hunger strike. Practitioners also often suffer internal hemorrhaging. Their clothing is soaked with perspiration and they often have difficulty breathing. It takes a long time for them to recover. -
12-Year-Old Child's Mother Dies in the Persecution, Father Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
2004-10-10Zhu Meijuan was 38 years old when she died as a result of the persecution. At 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2004, police officers and the "610 Office" shouted and smashed the door, attempting to forcibly bring Zhu to the police department for interrogation. In order to escape Zhu climbed down the drainpipe, yet tragically fell to her death. Her husband, Zhou Zhaohua, is 40 years old. At the end of December 2001, he was abducted while at work for handing out truth-clarifying materials and illegally sentenced to four years. This has left their 12 year old daughter, Zhou Yingjie, an orphan. She now lives with her grandmother. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Yang Lijuan Shocked with an Electric Baton by a Policewoman at the Beijing Huairou Detention Centre (Photos)
2004-10-10On December 24, 2000, in Tiananmen Square, two policemen abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Yang Lijuan to a detention centre in Beijing. It was winter, and the temperature inside the room was almost the same as outside. A policewoman forced Yang Lijuan to take off her clothes, leaving her in only her underwear to sit on the concrete floor by the wall. The policewoman felt cold enough to wear an overcoat, holding a cup of hot water in one hand and an electric baton in the other. As she was drinking, she used the electric baton to shock Yang Lijuan's sensitive areas such as the arches of her feet, her palms, belly, neck, and face. -
48 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Guan Shujie Dies As A Result of Persecution
2004-10-09Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms Guan Shujie from Heilongjiang Province was 48 years old. In April 2002, she was reported for distributing Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials, and sent to the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre for persecution on April 29, 2002. She suffered two years of hardship at the Centre that caused her both untold mental and physical damage. She was released on January 1, 2004 in poor condition, and died on September 6, 2004, after enduring seven months of painful illness. -
Update on Ms. Gao Rongrong, Whose Face was Disfigured by Electric Baton Torture in the Longshan Forced Labour Camp (Warning: Graphic Photos)
2004-10-09On October 5, 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong, whose face was disfigured by the authorities of Longshan Forced Labour Camp in Shenyang City and covered with scars from electric baton shocks, escaped from her persecutors. She escaped from the Orthopedics Department at the No. 1 Hospital affiliated with the China Medical University, where she had been held for nearly five months after she was disfigured. Gao Rongrong can sit up for a while by herself now. She is still very thin and weak and cannot move her left leg. However, she is in good spirits and clear-minded. She said she would continue to study Falun Dafa and walk her path of cultivation. -
University Professor Suffers Mental Breakdown Due to Torture and Brainwashing; Elderly Mother Kneels down to Beg for a Visit
2004-10-09Dr. Li Huiyun, 40 years old, is a Falun Gong practitioner and an Associate Professor at Hebei University. According to inside information, Li Huiyun was tortured for five nights without sleep. She was forced to sit for four hours in a double-crossed leg position. Two men tortured her by hitting her on the head repeatedly and using cigarettes to burn her. As a result, she became mentally disoriented. After a few days of torture in the labour camp, she was sent to the hospital. During this time the labour camp did not disclose anything to her family. In order to see her daughter, Ms. Li's seventy-year-old mother got down on her knees, pleading to visit her daughter. -
Zou Yanjie's Feet Amputated Due to Persecution (Photos)
2004-10-09My name is Zou Yanjie. I lived in the Railroad Workers Community in Nong'an County of Jilin Province. The authorities brutally persecuted me because I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I managed to run away from the police station but got trapped in thick woods, without any food or drink for ten days. This was during mid winter. Both of my feet were frostbitten and had to be cut off. Currently, I have been forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.
