The fact is, surveillance apparatus is everywhere at the camp, including in the washroom and shower room. Practitioners who refused to be transformed are constantly surrounded by at least 3 or up to dozens of people who are monitoring them. Practitioners are not allowed to talk to each other, and some are even put in isolation. How could the three practitioners be together? And how could they escape the surveillance and those who monitored them, and go to the activity room to hang themselves? -
Police Brutality at Nanmusi Women Forced Labour Camp
2003-06-30Some practitioners' clothes were worn to shreds; even their jeans were worn out. Some practitioners were dragged to a secluded area where they were brutally beaten by those criminals, which caused these healthy and strong practitioners to lose consciousness. Li Qi also forced some Dafa practitioners to face the wall, standing from 5:30 a.m. until 2 or 3 o'clock the next the morning. They did not even spare 60-year-old ladies. The practitioners had to stand there until she was satisfied. -

2003-06-30Sun Yaoting was beaten to the point of disability and could not get up. She was hospitalised for several days. However, later, with boards hanging from their necks and hands bound behind them, they were escorted onto trucks to be paraded through the streets of every village in the township against their will. The officials also posted malicious slogans everywhere, such as shamelessly writing: "Make Those Who Practise Falun Gong Live in Poverty, Break up Their Families and Make Them Become Homeless." -
Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Beijing Area
2003-06-30Without warrants they forcefully handcuffed Mr. Jiang Hai and took him away from his bed. Mr. Jiang Hai did not even have time to put on his shoes. His wife went to the police station several times but could not get information about his whereabouts; instead she was beaten by Ding Guangming, the Director of the Kangzhuan Police Station and driven away. It was more than a month later before Mr. Jiang Hai's wife found out he was being detained at the Fengtai District Detention Centre of Beijing. -
Fushun City Police Beat to Death Female Dafa Practitioner (Photo)

The police refused to let the family take a close look at the body and didn't answer their enquiries about the cause of her death. 2003-06-29One month later, she and her husband were arrested. Her husband was able to jump out of the police van and escape. Later, local police from Liaoning Province came to Beijing to pick up her and some other practitioners. While the bus back to Liaoning Province was driving down a highway in Tianjin City, she and another male practitioner (whose name is unknown) tried to jump out of the bus to avoid further persecution. Unfortunately, both of them died. -

She was screaming as she was dragged, and one policeman started to beat her while shouting, "Did I tell you to scream, did I tell you to scream?" At the same time, the policeman used two fingers to jab at her neck, causing her to become unable to speak. When Wang Yan suggested that Liu Jinyu be put to work and was rejected, Wang Yan immediately said, "Take her upstairs and fix her!" -
Falun Gong Practitioners Barbarically Hung on Crosses for Days in Shandong Province 2nd Forced Labour Camp
2003-06-29In this labour camp, the police often tortured Qian Fajun and Liu Jinhui. Policemen Li Gongming, Yue Linzhen, and Yang Peng beat them, and forced them into a cell where they were constantly monitored during the night. These vicious policemen beat the practitioners' chests with their fists until they were tired. They also handcuffed the practitioners with two sets of handcuffs and barbarically hung them on a cross. The practitioners were deprived of sleep for 4 days and nights. The practitioners' limbs were swollen and they were unable to grab onto anything or walk. -

Falun Dafa Practitioners Perform Slave Labour to Earn Foreign Dollars for Shandong Province Labour Camp
2003-06-28This labour camp mainly processes and sews quilts for the Lider General Corporation Ltd. in Changyi, Weifang City. The quilts are for export to more than ten countries, including Japan and South Korea. The labour camp forces practitioners to put name-brand labels on the quilts such as "Beijing Jiangyaling" and "Shuanghe." -
Why Are Good People in Prison Instead of with Their Families?
2003-06-28He started to refuse to eat what I cooked and stopped talking to me. Later he said he would rather have a wife who was not as good as me as long as she did not practise Falun Gong, to bring him a peaceful life. I thought as a couple we couldn't suffer together and go through tribulations as well. He pushed me so hard that I agreed to get a divorce. I felt very hurt. I lost my home and stayed at my work unit's dorm. -

Jiang's Genocide Policy in Action: 56 Year Old Lady Practitioner Beaten to Death by Shulan City Police
2003-06-27When asked why she was beaten to this point, one official from the police department growled, "She did not cooperate!" They attempted to cremate her right away, but her relatives voiced a strong objection. In order to hide the evidence, the police took six practitioners as hostages, claiming, "If Kong's body is cremated today, we will release these people today; if her body is cremated tomorrow, we will release these people tomorrow; if her body is not cremated in ten days, we will keep these people for ten days."
