Danish National Newspaper Reports on Relay Hunger Strike in China

"As a lawyer, Gao has defended in court hundreds of Falun Gong-members, democracy activists and farmers who have had their land confiscated by the state. As a private person he has sent letters to the leaders of the country and criticised their policies. He is even open about calling the Chinese Communist Party ‘evil’. Gao Zhisheng is playing with fire – and doing it even though he lives in Beijing, within the range of China’s regime, which so dreads criticism...From his apartment in the capital Gao has now started a hunger strike and he says that at least 70 other people from across the country have joined in." -
Bulgarian Parliamentarian: “Condemnation of the crimes of totalitarian communist regimes was necessary”
2006-03-08"Those crimes were inspired by ideology. A number of left-wing parties had not found the strength or motivation to condemn ex-communist regimes. The report would give a moral boost to researchers and non-governmental organisations investigating communist crimes. It could have the same effect as the introduction of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre had had on those investigating Nazi crimes. It was essential that the archives of the security services in communist countries were opened; otherwise, it would not be possible to understand the full extent of their crimes." -
Austria: Fourth Annual Falun Dafa Sharing Conference Held in Vienna

On March 4th, practitioners held the 4th Annual Falun Dafa Sharing Conference in Vienna. Practitioners from Austria and Germany attended the conference and shared their experiences in cultivation. Through the experience sharing, many practitioners found their own shortcomings and improved. The conference was a great success. -
Danish Human Rights Organisation Asks the Danish Government to Support the Relay Hunger Strike in China
2006-03-07The hunger strike was initiated by the famous human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, who is known for his untiring struggle for the persecuted in China. Most commentators today deny China’s claims that the human rights situation in China is improving—in reality it has become much worse in recent years. For a long time the world has stood passively by as Communist China has persecuted large sections of its population, like Falun Gong, Christians and Buddhists. Gao Zhisheng himself recently commented: “When the Nazis slaughtered the Jews, they were condemned by the world. But the Communist Party has killed more than eighty million people, thirteen times more than the number of Jews and the world says nothing.” -
Latvian Parliamentarian: “The ideology of communism...destroyed the moral value of human nature”
2006-03-07"I want to express my appreciation to the Assembly for its decision to call for an international debate on and condemnation of totalitarian communist regimes. We support the beginning of an international debate on the crimes that the communist regimes in central and eastern Europe committed in the past century. The crimes committed by totalitarian communist regimes must be investigated and those who perpetrated them must be brought to trial, as happened with the horrible crimes committed by the Nazis." -
Turkey: Spreading Falun Gong at the C.A.G. University in Mersin

I told the students in my class about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China and they made posters about the persecution and hung them on the school walls. Most of the lecturers learned the exercises. The principal asked me to teach him the exercises and give a big presentation. -
Sweden: The People of Malmo Support the Eight Million Withdrawals from the CCP

On Saturday February 18th there was an exhibition depicting the history of the CCP and the content of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, an editorial by the Epoch Times newspaper. The people of Malmö signed their names in support of the eight million Chinese people who have quit the CCP. -

Sweden: Celebrating the Fourth Falun Dafa Day in Lerum

Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, has been practised in Lerum since 1999. There are practice sites where new practitioners can learn the exercises for free and others can practise the exercises in a group. The practice of Falun Gong has received a lot of support and appreciation in Lerum. Many people there have experienced benefits from Falun Gong. -
Scotland: Practitioners Join an Activity to Highlight the Crimes of the Chinese Communist Party

On Sunday February 19th, an event was held in Edinburgh to expose the brutal history of the Chinese Communist Party as well as some of the recent crimes that the CCP has committed against the Chinese people inside and outside of China. This was a good opportunity for Falun Gong practitioners to highlight the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong. -
Czech Parliamentarian: "I was surprised by the striking realisation of communism’s black history"
2006-03-05"In the 1950s, people were killed in our country as well as other communist countries. In the 1980s, the terror was psychological. However, there can be no victims – hard or soft – without representatives of a regime and without murderers. There can be no representatives of a regime or murderers without servants of the system. That is why we are discussing the totalitarian crimes of communism after 15 years. Condemnation of Nazism was quick because it took only months for the world’s community to unify against it. There is a difference in the case of communism." -
Norway: Rescued Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Press Conference to Express Thanks to the Norwegian Government

On February 25th, eleven Falun Gong practitioners who had been granted asylum by Bodoe city government in Norway held a press conference at the International Centre in Bodoe to express their appreciation to the people and government of Norway. They were joined by Bodoe city media and some local residents. -
France: Paris Gala Makes People Proud to be Chinese

This Gala awakened Chinese peoples’ memories of traditional culture and made them feel proud to see such a magnificent performance by their fellow countrymen. This type of display of traditional culture has been banished from its home in China since the Communist Party snatched power there over half a century ago. -
Swedish Parliamentarian: "Stand up for people who suffered under these terrible dictatorships"
2006-03-04We can see the same effect today in communist China, where the regime is very tough against anyone with a different opinion. Falun Gong and certain religious denominations are very badly treated in China. We can see that the same thing will happen there, with many dissidents in opposition. That is good, because I could bet you €100 that the Chinese communist regime will be gone within five years. There are defecting diplomats; we saw the same thing in the Soviet Union. Many people are leaving the communist party; the same thing happened before the fall of the Soviet Union’s iron curtain. -
