  • Germany: Ministry of Justice Hopes for the Speedy Release of the Jiang Family

    Mr. Jiang Renzheng, his wife and two small children were deported from Würzburg to Beijing in March 2005. Following his deportation from Germany and only four weeks after his arrival in China, Mr Renzheng Jiang was sentenced without trial to three years of forced labour for practicing Falun Gong and thereby ‘endangering public security’. Jiang has subsequently been released but is under house arrest. He has now been granted asylum in Germany.
  • Nordland Daily (Norway): Details of the Persecution

    On February 24th, two reporters from the Nordland Daily, the largest newspaper in northern Norway, interviewed eleven Chinese practitioners who have been recently accepted by the Norwegian government as refugees. Eleven practitioners from four families recounted the benefits to mind and body that Falun Gong has brought to them, and the brutal persecution that they have experienced in China at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.

    On February 18th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a Falun Gong information day in Ansbach, a beautiful small town in Bavaria, Germany. Although it is a small town with a population of only a few thousand, local people came in streams to sign their names in support of Falun Gong and often stopped to find out more.
  • United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Dafa to a school in Leeds

    Whilst taking part in an activity to introduce Falun Dafa in Leeds city centre, a lady approached me informing me that she was from Bank Side primary school and that they were going to have a focus on health week. She asked if I would teach the set of five Falun Gong exercises to their year 6 children as part of the week’s activities. I immediately agreed.
  • Turkey: Truth, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition Helps More People in Ankara Know about Falun Gong

    The Third Turkish Falun Gong Truth, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition was held in the national gallery in downtown Ankara on February the 13th 2006. The director of the gallery offered a lot of support for the exhibition and told practitioners, “You can distribute flyers, and teach the exercises.”
  • Germany: The people of Saarbrücken say “NO” to the persecution of Falun Gong

    On Saturday morning, February 11th 2006, Falun Gong practitioner met outside the Karstadt department store to prepare for an information day in the Saarbrücker pedestrian zone. At the time, the area was not very busy. The objective of the activity was to expose the CCP's criminal scheming against Falun Gong practitioners to the passers-by.

    On Saturday February 3rd, 2006, in Ludwigshafen, a town on the banks of the River Rhine, Falun Gong practitioners gathered to tell local people about Falun Gong and the inhumane persecution that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China. Falun Gong practitioners set up their information desk and a poster display on the pedestrian street.
  • Italy: Activities Marking Eight Million Chinese People Quitting the CCP

    On February 18th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Rome participated in activities marking eight million Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party. During the activity, some ill-minded Chinese intended to create interruptions, but to no avail due to the presence of police.

Since the CCP’s founding, about fifty seven years ago, it is responsible for the death of more than 80 million people.   • Italy: Grand Parade Held in Torino Before the Winter Olympics

    Before the 12th Winter Olympics was held in Torino in northern Italy, many European organisations and individuals made it to this beautiful mountainside city to participate in a grand parade organised by the Italian Centre for quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on February 4th, 2006, to mark the figure of some eight million withdrawals from the CCP.

    Over the past six years or so, Falun Gong practitioners have held activities all over Switzerland, from tourist attractions to the United Nations buildings, calling for attention from the Swiss people to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP in China.
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Expose the Persecution of Falun Gong While Taking Part in Annual Tough Guy Competition

    On Sunday January 29th, 2006, two Falun Gong practitioners from the South East of England took part in the annual Tough Guy competition. The two runners used the competition to spread the word about the persecution of Falun Gong. A third practitioner filmed a three hour video of the race, as well as interviews and other footage.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against the CCP’s Conduct at the Chinese Embassy and Consulate

    On the morning of February 15th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden held a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm and the Chinese Consulate in Goteborg to condemn the attack on Falun Gong practitioner Dr. Li Yuan as well as the ransacking of French Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Chen’s home. Many kind-hearted people expressed their support.
  • A Letter to the German Foreign Minister Calling for an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong

    "To date, there have been some eight million people, mostly Chinese people in China, declaring their withdrawal from the CCP on an overseas Chinese website since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the CCP ... Renowned Chinese attorney Gao Zhisheng sent three open letters to Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao, urging them to put an end to the persecution against those who believe in freedom and improve the relations between the Chinese people and the Communist regime, as well as upholding justice for Falun Gong."
