The Italian Asia News Agency Discloses the CCP's New Wave of Persecution Against Falun Gong
2005-05-03According to a report by the Italian Asia News Agency of the 26th of April, the Chinese Communist Party (CPP) has adopted the largest-scale police action since 1999 to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The CPP has arrested many Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong, Jiangxi, Xichuan provinces and inner Mongolia. According to the report, Amnesty International revealed the situation to the outside world while supporting Falun Gong. -
Russia: Activity in Moscow on the 6th Anniversary of the “4.25” Appeal
2005-05-02On April 25th 2005, a group of Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the north-east district of Moscow City to commemorate of the 6th anniversary of the “4.25” peaceful appeal outside Zhongnanhai. Banners and photo boards were displayed to let the public know about the persecution happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Finland: Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution on the Sixth Anniversary of the April 25th Incident
2005-05-02Practitioners held a photo exhibition in Helsinki, in memory of the sixth anniversary of the “4.25” incident when 10,000 practitioners peacefully went to the Appeals Office in Zhongnanhai to tell the Chinese authorities about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong. Many people were shocked and concerned after seeing the astonishing photos of persecuted practitioners. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to a Culture Day in Ockelbo
2005-05-02On Friday the 29th of April 2005, a large culture day was arranged with various activities at a senior-level school in Ockelbo, Sweden. The pupils had the opportunity to choose what to do during the day and two Falun Gong practitioners from the city of Gaovle were invited because pupils wanted to know more about the practice. -
United Kingdom: Appealing Opposite the Singapore High Commission - Don’t Bow to CCP Pressure
2005-05-01London practitioners gathered opposite the Singapore High Commission in protest against the Singapore Government choosing to be an accomplice of the Chinese Communist Party and persecute Falun Gong by sentencing 2 female practitioners to prison. They requested the Singapore government immediately release the innocent practitioners. -
The International Society for Human Rights (IGFM): Deportation from Germany followed by three years in a labour camp
2005-05-01On Saturday April 9th 2005, Mr. Jiang Renzheng, who was deported from Germany on March 7th, was taken to a forced labour camp in Benxi, which is located close to the large urban centre of Shenyang. He had been sentenced to three years of re-education by forced labour because of “endangering public security”. This happened without a trial or legal counsel. The International Society for Human Rights reports that even in today’s People’s Republic of China, people are still being imprisoned in the Laogai labour camp system without the benefit of a proper legal system. -
Ukraine: "Journey of Compassion" Painting Exhibition in Kramatorsk City
2005-05-01The "Journey of Compassion" painting exhibition took place in Kramatorsk city from the 15th to the 17th of April 2005. The exhibition showed work by artists who practise Falun Gong and the handicrafts created by Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners. The delicate art work reflected the goodness and kindness that practitioners develop through practising Falun Gong. -
United Kingdom: Exposing the Crimes of the Chinese Communist Party in London’s Chinatown
2005-04-30On the 24th of April, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK once again organised an activity in London’s Chinatown to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness of the persecution against the practice in Mainland China. This was part of the series of activities held in the UK to commemorate the April 25th appeal in 1999. -
German Newspaper Report: “The Citizens of Bueran Show Their Understanding”
2005-04-30Steinau, who is from Bochum, and Kea, who is from Gelsenkirchen, are practising Falun Gong, an ancient Chinese meditation and cultivation practice. However, although Falun Gong originated in China, the country has lost its internal balance. “Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted”, says Steinau. -

Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the "April 25" appeal on the afternoon of April 22nd 2005. -
Denmark: Remembering the Appeal on April 25th
2005-04-28On 25th April 2005, practitioners in Denmark went to peacefully demonstrate outside of the Chinese Embassy to call for an end to the nearly six years of brutal persecution in China. Tens of thousands of people have been subjected to torture for their belief in Truth, Compassion and Forbearance. The death toll continues to rise and is now nearing 2,000.
