United Kingdom: First Day of the 2004 Scotland Car Tour
2004-05-31After its launch by Member of Scottish Parliament Mike Pringle, UK Falun Gong practitioners’ 2004 Scotland Car Tour left Edinburgh and travelled to the city of Aberdeen. In Aberdeen, the Car Tour practitioners joined other UK practitioners for a large scale outdoor event to let more people know about the brutal persecution that is happening in China. -
Radio Free Asia: Supporting the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin in a Chicago Court
2004-05-31According to a report by a journalist for Radio Free Asia, German and other European Falun Gong practitioners, human rights groups and the Global Alliance to Bring Jiang to Justice, participated in various activities at the Chinese Embassies and Consulates around Europe to voice their support for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin currently taking place in a Chicago court. The lawsuit against Jiang Zemin filed by Falun Gong practitioners began proceedings in Chicago on May 27th. -
UK: 2004 Scotland Car Tour is Launched by Member of Scottish Parliament
2004-05-30On Saturday the 29th of May, UK Falun Gong practitioners began their 2004 Scotland Car Tour aiming to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Four practitioners from both Scotland and England will be taking part in the Car Tour, which will visit 6 Scottish cities in 6 days. The tour was launched in Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh by local Member of Parliament Mike Pringle. -

2004-05-30On May 27th, the US Federal Seventh Circuit Court conducted a court debate on Falun Gong practitioner’s lawsuit against former Chinese president Jiang Zemin on charges of torture, genocide and crimes against humanity. In this lawsuit, the defendant Jiang is sued for leading the movement in China that attempts to eliminate Falun Gong. -
Belgium: Practitioners Send Forth Righteous Thoughts at the Chinese Consulate to Support the Lawsuit in Chicago
2004-05-30On the afternoon of May the 27th, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners overcame many difficulties and held an appeal outside the Chinese Consulate in Brussels. Practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts every half an hour to support the latest developments in the Chicago court where an appeal is being considered in the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa to the Residents of Pforzheim City
2004-05-30For the fourth time, practitioners organised a Falun Gong workshop for the Natural Healing Association of Pforzheim. This association is the biggest and oldest natural healing institution in Germany and has many members. The workshop began at 10 o’clock in the morning, and once again all the seats were fully occupied. -
Switzerland: Another Good Way to Clarify the Truth
2004-05-30Since many Dafa practitioners drive cars almost everyday, we think that this might be a good way to use our cars to clarify the truth to people. We pasted Falun Gong photos and posters appealing for an end to the persecution to the rear of our cars. Upon seeing the information on our cars many people talked to us about the persecution of Falun Gong. -
Members of the Swedish Parliament from Five Parties Call for Attention to Human Rights in China

This seminar aroused great interest from MPs, the media and human rights organisations, as well as the persecuted groups in China. A French Senator Writes to the Minister of Internal Affairs to Express his Concern About the Mistreatment of Falun Gong Practitioners by the French Police
2004-05-29"The uniformed police took these people to the Paris fourth police station for an identity and security check when they were about to go into the metro station near the city government square. This lady pointed out that the search was carried out in a very rude manner and that they did not do anything to justify this action. She thinks that they were arrested simply because they were wearing yellow scarves with Falun Gong symbols." -

German Falun Gong Information Centre: Demanding an End to the Former Chinese Head of State's Escape From Punishment
2004-05-28On September the 12th 2003, the District Court dismissed the suit against Jiang Zemin on the basis of his right to immunity as head of state. The public widely criticised this decision. The plaintiffs filed an appeal on January the 12th 2004 with the Appeals Court in Chicago. On Thursday May the 27th 2004, attorneys, plaintiffs and others functioning as amicus curiae will have an opportunity to verbally address the Appeals Court in Chicago and voice their views. -

Germany: Practitioners in Berlin Invited to Hold a Seminar Introducing Falun Gong at a Berlin Police Station
2004-05-28On May the 18th, practitioners in Berlin were invited by a Berlin Police Station to hold a seminar to introduce Falun Gong. Over ten high-ranking police officers attended the seminar and the discussion which followed. Practitioners introduced the cultivation method of Falun Gong, and the brutal persecution that is happening in China.
