German Falun Gong Information Centre: Demanding an End to the Former Chinese Head of State's Escape From Punishment
2004-05-28On September the 12th 2003, the District Court dismissed the suit against Jiang Zemin on the basis of his right to immunity as head of state. The public widely criticised this decision. The plaintiffs filed an appeal on January the 12th 2004 with the Appeals Court in Chicago. On Thursday May the 27th 2004, attorneys, plaintiffs and others functioning as amicus curiae will have an opportunity to verbally address the Appeals Court in Chicago and voice their views. -
Finland: Practitioners Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang by Appealing at the Chinese Embassy

On May the 27th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Helsinki appealed at the Chinese embassy to support the legal action taken in the USA against the former President of the People’s Republic of China, Jiang Zemin. Jiang is the main responsible person in the persecution of Falun Gong and he is charged with torture, genocide and crimes against humanity. -
Germany: Practitioners in Berlin Invited to Hold a Seminar Introducing Falun Gong at a Berlin Police Station

On May the 18th, practitioners in Berlin were invited by a Berlin Police Station to hold a seminar to introduce Falun Gong. Over ten high-ranking police officers attended the seminar and the discussion which followed. Practitioners introduced the cultivation method of Falun Gong, and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. -
Holland: Theme Park Defies Pressure from Jiang's Regime to Host Falun Gong Display

For two Sundays Falun Gong practitioners were able to demonstrate the exercises and inform people about Falun Gong's background in a special atmosphere. Many visitors to the park were interested and wished to learn more about the gentle exercises and profound principles. -

2004-05-28On May 21st, Chinese Communist Party Secretary Wang Taihua was served with a class-action lawsuit charging him with torture, murder, and genocide. The complaint alleges that under Wang’s direction, the four plaintiffs were subjected to torture and abuse in the Female Labour Re-Education Camp and mental hospitals located in Anhui Province. -

2004-05-26Falun Dafa practitioners in Slovakia sent petition letters to Mayors of villages in the country asking for their support in calling for an end to the persecution of innocent people who practise Falun Gong in China. Mayors of four villages in Slovakia responded to the letter and signed the petition demanding an immediate end to the persecution and severe torture of practitioners of Falun Gong in China. -
Sweden: Dafa Practitioners Created a Harmonious and Peaceful Environment in Gothenburg

A few months ago, Gothenburg’s Metro newspaper published an article about a reader who sent the "Dagen's Rose" [Rose of the day] to the Falun Gong practitioners who have been continuously doing exercises in Slottsskogen park every Saturday, no matter what the weather is. Falun Gong practitioners have created a harmonious and peaceful environment in Gothenburg City. -
Germany: First Falun Dafa Information Day is held in a Baltic City

It is the third city we have visited so far along the shores of the Baltic Sea. The people there were very interested in Falun Gong. They came to our display stand to sign our petition calling for an end to the persecution. Some people there have been interested in the practice for a long time and wanted to know what Falun Gong really is about.
