Ms. Wu Hong Tortured to Death in Penglai City, Shandong Province

On May 30th, 2006, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Hong was arrested in her home and locked up in a "Legal Eduction Centre (a brainwashing centre controlled by the 610 Office). On June 6th, 2006, she was sent to Penglai City Hospital for emergency. She died on June 9th, 2006. It is said that Ms. Wu Hong's skull was smashed and fractured. She was in a deep coma before her death, and relied on a breathing machine. Details of her death have yet to be investigated. -
Elderly Ms. Liu Yuanzhen Kidnapped and Brainwashed – Dies After Long Term Persecution by 610 Office
2006-06-26Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuanzhen, 62, was kidnapped after distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and took her to the Lannigou Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was in critical health condition. Given the strong pleas by her family, the 610 Office released her. After she returned home, the police frequently came to her home to harass her, causing her to suffer sever physical and mental injury. Ms. Liu Yuanzhen died due to the severe persecution on May 11th, 2006. -
Ms. Que Fazhi Died an Agonising Death from Torture
2006-06-24Ms. Que Fazhi was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Panlian Township, Miyi County, Sichuan Province. When she was alive, she was brutally persecuted by local Communist Party members numerous times. In May 2002, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. On June 3rd, she was arrested by police in Beijing and sent to Dongcheng Detention Centre. Later, she was blindfolded and transferred to the basement of a nearby hospital where she was handcuffed and shackled onto a bed and given injections of unknown drugs. On October 30th, 2002, she died in extreme pain at the age of 49. -
Dead from Torture-Inflicted Wounds: Practitioner Hao Yingqiang from Jilin Province
2006-06-22Hao Yingqiang suffered torture several times in prison. He was the most severely tortured practitioner in Jilin Prison. He had to be carried wherever he went. The hospital said he could only live two more months. By April 30th, 2006, Hao was dying. Not wanting to take any responsibility, the prison released him. After taking him home, his family found there was a bone exposed in the big hole left on his lower back. He was in extreme pain. On June 8th, 2006, he passed away. -
Lawless Officials Hide Gao Rongrong's Body; Her Parents Cannot Commemorate their Daughter at First Anniversary of Her Murder
2006-06-21Following the murder of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong from Shenyang City, her family appealed to various government agencies. Her murderers have not yet been brought to justice. Recently, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials hid Gao Rongrong's body and said that officials from the Shenyang City Judicial Bureau must be present when her parents view the body. In the end, her elderly parents did not get to see the body and could not commemorate their beloved daughter on the one-year anniversary of her death. -
Details Surrounding the Persecution Death of Tan Pingyun from Weifang City
2006-06-20On November 8th, 2005, more than twenty personnel from the "610 Office" barged into the residence of Tan Pingyun. They ransacked her house and confiscated her belongings. She was taken to the brainwashing centre and later to a forced labour camp. In the afternoon on May 18th, 2006, her family members received a phone call from Wangcun Labour Camp, informing them that Tan Pingyun was in critical condition. The vicious police told her family members, "Tan Pingyun drank detergent when she was cleaning the toilet earlier that morning. At 7 p.m. that night, her heart stopped beating. The family members did not agree and suspected foul play with regard to the cause of death. -
Practitioner Ms. Li Shuyuan Was Murdered and Her Organs Removed; Three Years Later the Family Still Denied Autopsy Report
2006-06-19On the afternoon of July 6th, 2002, Ms. Li Shuyuan went with fellow practitioners to Jinlizi Village to hand out leaflets exposing the persecution. At about 10:30 p.m., she went missing. The next day, police officers from Taijitun Township notified her family to go to the riverside to claim her body. Ms. Li Shuyuan was murdered. The next day, police officers and a doctor dissected her body. They removed her brain marrow and internal organs (heart, lung, liver, intestines, and stomach). More than three years have since passed, yet the officials still refuse to give Ms. Li Shuyan's family the report of the autopsy. -
Additional Facts Surrounding the Murder of Wu Baowang, a Dafa Practitioner from Heilongjiang Province
2006-06-19On April 19th, 2002, a Falun Dafa book was found at Wu Baowang’s home and he was sent to the No. 2 Detention Centre in Shuangcheng City. Wu Baowang began a hunger strike to appeal against the unjust persecution. the police used four criminals with no medical knowledge to force feed Wu Baowang. The criminals dragged him out of the cell, pressed him against a bed and used all of their strength to push a tube down Wu Baowang’s nose. Then they poured high density salt water through the tube. While they force fed him, they beat him up. After Wu Baowang was carried back to the cell, he began to vomit blood and he passed away soon after. The authorities forced the criminals to say Wu Baowang had died due to a heart attack. -
Jilin City Police Brutality Exposed: Grandmother in Her 80s Protests Death of Her Grandson
2006-06-18On March 2nd, 2006, Jilin City practitioner Wang Jianguo was arrested by the Nanjing police in the Chuanying District. Forty days later, he was persecuted to death in No. 1 Detention Centre of Jilin city. Mr. Wang was only 30 years old. On May 12th, 2006, three of Mr. Wang's family members went to the Jilin City Government, to protest the injustice done to the innocent Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang's grandmother, in her 80s, sat in front of the government compound with Mr. Wang's photo and a big one-word sign, "Injustice." Many people stopped and watched. -
Four Practitioners Who Lost Their Lives in Hunan, Chongqing, Shanxi and Xinjiang
2006-06-17Ms. Du Shurong, 69, travelled to Beijing three times to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. One day in January 2001, the police broke into her home and arrested her and her husband. Du Shurong was sentenced to one year in a forced labour camp and her husband was sentenced to two years. Later, her family paid several tens of thousands of yuan to get them out. Subsequently, they were harassed and monitored constantly by the police. Du Shurong suffered from enormous mental stress, and as a result, her physical condition deteriorated gradually. She passed away on December 8th, 2005. -
Remains of Dafa Practitioners Fu Keshu and Xu Genli Found on Jingang Mountain
2006-06-17In mid-May 2006, the remains of two Falun Dafa practitioners, Ms. Fu Keshu and Mr. Xu Genli, were found on Jingang Mountain of Jiangxi province. The remains of Mr. Xu Genli were reduced to merely bones, while the remains of Ms. Fu Keshu were not yet decomposed. On November 16th, 2005 they both went to Jingang Mountain and were never seen alive again. In the past Fu Keshu had spent time in detention for practising Falun Dafa. At present, police claim that they probably died suddenly somehow while travelling together , yet their family had searched in vain for them on the mountain, then their remains suddenly appeared there. -
66-Year-Old Ms. Xiao Shufen Persecuted to Death at Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison
2006-06-16Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Shufen, 66 years old, had been detained and persecuted at Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison for several years. In 2002, Ms. Xiao because she explained the true situation of Falun Dafa to people was tortured around the clock for seven days. The police tied her on a tiger bench and forcibly fed her lots of a large quantity of black mustard oil. They put a plastic bag over her head until she was half dead. On June 8th, 2006, the prison staff notified Ms. Xiao's family that she had passed away. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Die Due to Persecution in Liaoning, Gansu, and Jilin Provinces
2006-06-16Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Fan Weiwei, 73, was arrested and detained in the Dabei Prison in Shenyang City. Eventually she developed colon cancer. In December 2005, her cancer reached the late stage, and spread to all her organs. She was as thin as a skeleton, and died six days after being bailed out on medical parole on December 12th, 2005. -
With Nowhere to Turn, 80-year-old Grandmother Proclaims Grandson's Innocence at a Train Station

Mr. Wang Jianguo, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jilin City, died as a result of persecution after a 40-day incarceration in a Jilin city detention centre. On Monday, May 15th, 2006, Mr. Wang's grandmother went to the Jilin City train station and held his picture and a poster with a large character for "Injustice." She tearfully told passersby and passengers about this injustice. -
Mr. Zhang Shunlong Tortured and Killed in Police Custody
2006-06-12On May 26th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Shunlong, 44, was arrested from his home by policemen and tortured and killed on the same day. His body was cremated on May 28th, 2006 without his family's approval. His wife, also in detention at the time, was very distraught by his sudden death. She appeared mentally disoriented, and was released home.
