Older Lady, Ms. Yu Fuxiang Died Tragically Under Persecution

We do not know exactly what tortures 55-year-old Ms. Yu endured, but only know that she had been on a hunger strike for several days, was whipped by a leather belt and was handcuffed with her ankles shackled. Ms. Yu lived a hard life with courage, but she was afraid of being arrested to a great extent! Ms. Yu died tragically, and the only thing she left was a receipt proving that Zhou Yuhua from the First Branch Office of Huangzhou City Police Department extorted 500 yuan from her. -
Practitioners Mr. Hong Fei and Ms. Liu Shumin Persecuted to Death by Police Officer Lu Ping and his Colleagues in Qinhuangdao
2006-06-11Police broke into practitioner Mr. Wu Wenjin's home on March 7th, 2006. They arrested seven practitioners from Mr. Wu's home and beat them without reason. One practitioner, Mr. Hong Fei, was terribly frightened and did not have the strength to stand. The police insisted on dragging him into the police car. On the way to the police station, the policemen discovered that Mr. Hong was dying, so they dumped him on the roadside and covered him with a blanket, trying to avoid any responsibility. Mr. Hong, a college student, spent his last moments in in a roadside ditch on a cold and windy night. He was only 21 years old. -
Ms. Huang Yanli Persecuted to Death in the Nanjing Women's Prison, Ms. Xue Shuyu and Others in Critical Condition
2006-06-10Huang Yanli, less than forty years old, was detained in the No. 5 prison area. Her erythema, which was cured through the practice of Falun Gong, relapsed in the prison. However, the prison authorities did not take her to see a doctor or release her on medical parole, but continued to lock her up until she was near death. Ms. Huang passed away several days after being released from prison. -
Supplementary Information on the Death of Mr. Pan Hongdong from Heilongjiang Province

On November 4th, 2001, Dafa practitioner Mr. Pan Hongdong was arrested by officers. In detention he was tortured on a Tiger Bench and his genitals were shocked with electric batons. Pan Hongdong went on a hunger strike for 3 days. He was then sent to the detention centre and detained unconstitutionally. At the end of 2002, Pan was sentenced to 10 years in prison. As a result of the torture, he died on May 15th, 2005. -
Mr. Shao Mingzhu Dies Due to Torture at Forced Labour Camp
2006-06-09Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Shao Mingzhu was sent to one year of forced labour in 2002 because he handed out leaflets exposing the persecution. In 2004, he was sentenced to another two years of forced labour and a one month extension. During this term, he was so brutally tortured that he became very emaciated, and he could not take care of his daily needs. Finally, his lungs became severely infected, and his family picked him up in mid March 2006. He went to hospital but died two months later on May 30th, 2006. -
Two Practitioners from Hubei and Heilongjiang Provinces Die From Persecution
2006-06-09Ms. Liu Kexi, in her 50s started practising Falun Dafa in 1998. Her son, Deng Yong also practises Falun Dafa. In May 2004, agents from the National Security Brigade stormed into Deng Yong's home, arrested him, and searched for Falun Dafa materials. Shortly after, they also searched the home of his mother. Then the National Security Brigade agents put Deng Yong on trial. The court sentenced him to three to four years of imprisonment. When she heard her son sentenced at the courthouse, Ms. Liu Kexi fainted and died three days later. -
Shenyang City Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie Has Died Under Suspicious Circumstances in the Panjin City Prison
2006-06-08Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie was sentenced to an eleven year prison term. Since he persisted in explaining the true situation of Falun Dafa, he was fatally tortured at the Panjin City Prison in Liaoning Province in May 2006. On May 24th, 2006, the Panjin City Prison told Mr. Wu's family members to come to the prison. When they arrived, they found that the body of Wu Liantie had already been placed in the freezer of the Panjin City funeral service centre. The cause and time of his death was unknown. The person who saw Wu Liantie said that Wu had been sent to hospital for rescue. However, upon investigation, the hospital said that Wu Liantie had already died before arriving at the hospital. -
Sudden Death of Li Deyin in the Hunan Women's Prison
2006-06-07Ms. Li Deyin, 55, was detained in Changsha Women's Prison because she went to Beijing to appeal in 2002. Li Deyin's husband came to the prison to visit her the morning of May 16th, 2006. When he left Li Deyin at 10:00 a.m., Li looked good and told her husband that her prison term would end soon, and she would go home then. At 1:00 p.m. Li's family was informed she was in critical condition in the Changsha Centre Hospital. When they arrived at the hospital to see her, she was unable to speak and was semi-conscious. She died the afternoon of May 25th, 2006. -
Practitioner Ms. Su Baolan Arrested and Sent for Brainwashing in 2001 -- Her Body Found in River 12 Days Later (Photo)
2006-06-07Ms. Su Baolan was a 37-year-old Falun Gong practitioner. In mid-October 2001, lawless officials from the police and the 610 Office broke into her home and arrested her. They took her to the Anqiu City brainwashing class, held by the 610 Office. Anqiu City 610 Office persecutors extorted 1,000 yuan from Ms. Su's family. Twelve days later, her body was found in a small river in Sanhe Village, about 4 miles from Anqiu City. The villagers buried it as an unidentified body. Her family did not learn about it until much later. -
Four Practitioners from Heilongjiang, Liaoning, and Jilin Provinces Died Due to Persecution
2006-06-06Mr. Luo Xuemin, 53 years old. In 2002, Mr. Luo was detained at the Heshan Detention Centre for nearly a month. His firm belief in Dafa did not waver, even while the policemen beat and cursed him. He was released after being fined over 20, 000 yuan by the Heishan County Police Department. After he was released, his family members monitored him, and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) representatives threatened and interfered with him so much that he did not have time to do the exercises. He became disabled and could not get up. He died on December 7th, 2005, after he had been tortured for half a year. -
Additional Information on the Torture Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Cao Baoyu
2006-06-05Mr. Cao Baoyu, a 56-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner was tortured until he was on the brink of death. The 610 Office agents sent him to hospital to continue tormenting him under the persecution. He died at the hospital on April 27th, 2006. Before Cao Baoyu's death a detention centre head slapped his face and hit his mouth until Cao Baoyu's teeth became loose and his eardrums ruptured. He later tied Cao Baoyu to a metal chair. Cao Baoyu went on a hunger strike to protest the gross abuse under the persecution. He nver properly recovered. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Shandong and Hebei Provinces Persecuted to Death
2006-06-05Ms. Dong Guanfang was a 41-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. In August 2003, she and her husband were forced into a homeless situation due to the persecution. In February 2004, Ms. Dong and her husband were arrested and put into jail. In May 2004, Dong Guanfang was sentenced to six years and her husband was sentenced to nine years. On September 9th, 2005, it was discovered that Ms. Dong had acute sapraemia (a form of blood poisoning) and many other illnesses. On September 9th, the prison told her family to take her home. They found out that there was no cure for her illnesses. She died on November 27th, 2005. -
Officials from Tiantanghe Women's Labour Camp and Daxing District Court Try to Cover Up the Crime of Ms. Wu Junying's Death from Torture
2006-06-04On December 27th, 2005, Daxing District State Security agents arrested Ms. Wu Junying from her home. They took away a large amount of Falun Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution, books, and a computer. The authorities could not reach their goal after detaining her for more than three months, so they sent her to the Tiantanghe Women's Labour Camp on March 29th, 2006. Ms. Wu Junying was tortured to death within 48 hours after arriving at the camp. In order to cover up their crime, the camp administration sent her dead body to hospital. They lied and said to her family that she was very sick with a stroke. -
Ms. Tan Pingyun from Shandong Province Tortured to Death (Photo)
2006-06-04On May 18th, 2006, Ms. Tan Pingyun's family received a phone call from the Second Women's Labour Camp informing them that she was dying and telling them to go to hospital to see her for the last time. When asked about the cause of her death they claimed that she drank some toilet bowl cleaner when asked to clean the toilet that morning. The police said they had sent her to a hospital after finding out what happened. The hospital treated her symptoms as high blood pressure. When the family requested to take Ms. Tan's body home the police refused. There are some suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms. Tan Pingyun's death. -
Seven Falun Gong Practitioners from Anhui, Shanxi, Heilongjiang and Other Provinces Die Due to Persecution
2006-06-03Ms. Li Jiyun, 69, started practising Falun Gong in 1994. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, as she was persistent in practising Falun Gong, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents detained her for a cumulative total of over two years. In December 2004, she was arrested and detained five times by the lawless local people, and was sent for one year of forced labour. Her mental endurance reached the extreme limit, and she was very much afraid of being persecuted again. She passed away on April 21st, 2006.
