At that time, our little daughter was the only person at home and she got very scared. She would cry and say on the phone, "Daddy, I miss you and Mummy. But you must not come home. The police hide somewhere downstairs. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine as long as you're safe." -
Details of the Persecution Targeting Falun Gong Practitioners Employed in the Field of Education in Zhoukou, Henan Province
2007-09-12Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started its ruthless persecution of Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, practitioners employed in the education field in Zhoukou, Henan Province, have informed people about the true nature of Falun Gong. They did not want people to be condemned for their participation in the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. Besides exercising their constitutional right to appeal for Falun Gong at appeals offices, practitioners have been spreading the truth about Falun Gong, which has touched people's hearts far and wide. However, they have faced the ransacking of their homes, extortion, unlawful arrests, incarceration in forced labour camps and prisons, torture, and even death. The following are facts of the CCP's persecution of practitioners in the education field in Zhoukou. -
How Wanjia Forced Labour Camp Persecuted Us
2007-09-12On March 16th, 2002, my daughter and I took a train to Beijing. After we arrived in Tiananmen Square, as we walked, we called out, "Falun Dafa is good! Restore the good name of Dafa! Restore the good name of our Teacher!" A group of police officers tried to drag us into a police vehicle as they beat us. We tried to get away, but they pushed us into the vehicle and beat us. My head swelled up. When we explained the facts about Falun Dafa to them, they pounded on my chest and covered my mouth. They sprained my arms and cut my hands. My property was seized, I was fined 10,000 yuan, and three months' worth of my salary was confiscated. Eventually, I was sent to Wanjia Forced Labour Camp for three years. -
Ms. Li Zhengying and Her Daughter Ms. Zhao Fengxia from Tongliang County, Chongqing City Suffer Persecution at a Forced Labour Camp
2007-09-12Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Zhengying and her daughter Ms. Zhao Fengxia travelled to Chongqing looking for a job. Along the way they visited an old schoolmate. They were arrested by police and taken by force to Daping Detention Centre, where they suffered abuse for 15 days. On July 6th, 2007, they were moved to an unknown location. On July 11th, their family members learned that they were imprisoned at Shimahe Women's Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City. The family rushed to the camp but were not allowed to visit. On July 12th, labour camp officials called Ms. Zhao Fengxia's family to inform them that Ms. Zhao was unable to speak. -
Dafa Practitioner Ding Zhenfang from Dalian City Is Arrested for the Fourth Time
2007-09-12On August 16th, 2007, police arrested the nearly 60-year-old Dafa practitioner Ding Zhenfang and confiscated the machine that she used for making leaflets exposing the persecution and the leaflets themselves. During a previous detention inmates were ordered to torture Ms. Ding. They used the "death bed"and "tiger bench", and wrapped her up with tape until she could hardly breathe. The prisoners beat her with sticks, force-fed her with water laced with hot spices, hung her up, put her into solitary detention, and shocked her with electric batons. Due to the torture, Ms. Ding had a deformed appearance, was swollen all over, and her ankle festered to the point where the bone was clearly visible. The scars are visible even now. -
Exposing the Persecution in the Prison Admission Section of Shandong Provincial Prison
2007-09-11In Shandong Province Prison practitioners who refuse to give up their beliefs are deprived of sleep for very long periods of time. They are not allowed contact with anyone. Every day they are forced to write a report of their thoughts. If the reports do not meet the requirements of the prison administrations, the practitioners will be forced to write non-stop all day. If the reports still do not say what they want to hear, the practitioners are sent to disciplinary units. These units are designed to cause as much spiritual and physical torture necessary to force them to give up the practice of Falun Gong. -
Practitioners Taken Directly to Brainwashing Centres after Completing Their Prison Sentences
2007-09-11Mr. Xie Yonggang from Hubei Province, Ms. Du Xiuju from Jiangsu Province and Ms. Wang Xunlan from Shandong Province had been detained for several years because they persevered in their belief in Falun Gong. On the same days they were released from prison, the perpetrators from the 610 Office and other authorities arrested them and took them to brainwashing centres to forcibly transform them. This kind of incident has occurred all over the country. -
Account of the Barbaric Torture Ms. Xu Lianzhen, Retired Worker from Liaoning Province, Suffered in 2001 at the Hands of Villains from the 610 Office
2007-09-11In February 2001, police barged into the home of retired practitioner, Ms. Xu Lanzhen and arrested her. At the police station the head of the 610 Office asked Ms. Xu if she would continue to practise Falun Gong, and she replied: "yes." he bound her hands with handcuffs to the iron bars of a window, leaving her toes barely touching the ground. He harnessed her neck with a wire which was tied to the back of a bench and then he ripped off her clothes. He shocked her face repeatedly with a 10,000 volts electric baton. Blisters covered her face and the smell of burnt flesh filled the room. She suffered so much pain that she could hardly breathe. They continued hitting her head and shocking the sensitive body parts such as the face, neck, underarms, and hands, etc. She cried out in pain. -
CCP Officials in Shandong Province Relentlessly Harass and Torture Mr. Ji Yongxian and His Family Members
2007-09-11Ji Yongxian is from Taoxu Town, Mengyin County, Shandong Province. His parents, younger brother, younger sister and himself are all Falun Gong practitioners. In the past eight years, the local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) faithfuls have never stopped harassing them, extorting money from them, and arresting them. The former CCP party secretary of Taoxu Town, Jiang Yongjian, fired Ji Yongxian from his teaching position of over 20 years. Ji Yongxian and his brother went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Policemen from the County Police Department stationed in Beijing brought them back. As a result, Ji Yongshi was forced to leave home and become destitute and homeless. -
The Darkness and Ugliness of Hebei Province Women's Prison
2007-09-10Hebei Province Women's Prison is afraid of the public knowing the true situation inside the prison, so it repeatedly concocts things. Every time inspectors come, they lock up the Falun Gong practitioners, who can speak the truth, and other people whom they do not trust, rather than sending them to the workshop to do forced labour, because they fear the prison's brutal acts will be exposed. This prison boasts to the outside world about its humane administration and good living conditions--both outright lies. -
Brutal Mistreatment Still Continues in Daqing Prison
2007-09-10According to eyewitnesses, all detainees in the nine prison wards were rounded up on the athletic field. Some prison wards had previously forced practitioners to put on prison uniforms. Some practitioners were stripped down to their underwear. In the so-called "Education Ward," practitioner Mr. Xuan Guoying, who refused to wear a prison uniform, was beaten so badly that his face was deformed and purplish blue, and he could not open his left eye. Because practitioner Mr. Wu Chunwei exposed the brutal acts of the CCP Yuan Hongjun beat him on the back of his head with a baton and he immediately fell to the ground. He was punched and kicked, which left a big bump the size of an egg behind his ear, and there were bruises on his back and buttocks. -
Ms. Wu Bilin and Mr. Cheng Dehan Arrested by the 610 Office and Detained in Chenjiaji Brainwashing Centre in Hubei Province
2007-09-10Ms. Wu Bilin, 59, went to the family housing area of the "288 Plant" in the Huangpi District to distribute leaflets exposing the persecution. A person who was deceived by the propaganda reported her to the police. Officers from the Huangpi District Police Department arrested her, and she is being detained at the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Centre. To protest the unjust detention, Ms. Wu held a hunger strike for several days. Hu Shaobin (male) with the Jiang'an District 610 Office incited inmates to force-feed her with vinegar and chilli water several times a day. They also violently struck her. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Tortured at Women's Forced Labour Camp in Fujian Province
2007-09-10The guards at Fujian Province Women's Forced Labour Camp maliciously abused imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners. Placed in solitary confinement, steadfast practitioners were prohibited from seeing their family members and from purchasing food. They were allowed two or three hours less sleep than other inmates and they were prohibited from taking a midday nap. They were monitored around the clock by inmates that were drug addicts, prostitutes, thugs, and other criminals. -
Former Government Official Mr. Ma Tianyong, from the National Security Bureau in Yingkou City, Dies as a Result of Persecution
2007-09-09Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Ma Tianyong was repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) during the past eight years, for practising Falun Gong. He was dismissed from his job and his salary was suspended. He was arrested and then sentenced to a forced labour camp. He suffered from tremendous stress both physically and psychologically, and he passed away at home on March 29th, 2007. His wife had also passed away, on November 26th, 2002, after being seriously persecuted in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. -
Practitioners Tortured in the Third Ward of Shandong Province Second Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-09-09Ms. Gao Wenmei was hung in the air for seven days and seven nights straight. Ms. Che Cui was subjected to unknown methods of torture. Ms. Xu Youfang suffered physical punishment for over 30 consecutive hours because she forgot to announce herself when she entered a room. So far, we have learned that Ms. Cui Guifen, Ms. Zhang Ximei, Ms. Yu Xiuhua and Ms. Sun Yongling are among the many female practitioners incarcerated in the camp. There are many imprisoned practitioners whose names are yet to be revealed, and who are facing physical and mental torture from the prison guards.
