Appeal to Investigate the Death of Practitioner Mr. Liu Dejun from Liaoning Province

On May 25th, 2003, Mr. Liu Dejun was arrested by police for practising Falun Gong. He was taken away from the Panjin Detention Centre in a car from the national security team. It was confirmed that Mr. Liu Dejun was still alive on July 11th. Mr. Liu was able to walk that day, but his family was informed of his death the following morning. The police officers' contradictory statements on where Mr. Liu had died made his death even more suspicious. The deputy director of the Liaohe Oil Field Police Station and a national security officer from the Panjin Police Station proposed an autopsy and pressured his family to cremate the body. -
Despicable Means Used by the Fourth Brigade in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp to "Transform" Practitioners
2006-05-13Ms. Qi Hongjin was a Dafa practitioner who was highly educated. She went on a hunger strike in protest after she was sent to the camp. Staff members handcuffed Ms. Qi to a bed and told her they could "heal hunger strikes." They would not allow her to go to the toilet so she was forced to relieve herself in the bed. They scolded and humiliated her and wouldn't allow her to sleep. A guard later slapped Ms. Qi until her mouth bled and her face swelled. Ms. Qi was forced to squat for six hours and could not avoid relieving herself in her trousers and on the ground. -
Recent Crimes against Practitioners at Masanjia Concentration Camp and the Hulan County Prison in Heilongjiang Province
2006-05-13In February, one guard ordered an inmate to drag a Dafa practitioner out in the snow and stuff snow into her clothes, while the guard was watching. On March 23rd, 2006, on the way out to work, several inmates dragged Dafa practitioner Jiang Chunxia; her hands were handcuffed behind her back; her mouth was covered with layers of plastic tape. The No. 2 Battalion leader Wang Yanping just watched everything. A fellow practitioner witnessed the evil behaviour and pointed it out. Wang Yanping threatened her: "We are evil--so what? I will move you to our battalion tomorrow." In the No. 2 Battalion, the inmates beat Dafa practitioner Xin Shuhua frequently until her face was covered with blood. -
Five Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Hebei, Heilongjiang and Liaoning Provinces
2006-05-13Mr. Wang Jingzhi was 78 years old. He suffered from many kinds of illnesses, which all disappeared after he learned Falun Gong. After the persecution started on July 20th, 1999, Ms. Wang's home was ransacked many times by the authorities, and his Falun Dafa books were stolen. In 2004, Mr. Wang was sent to a brainwashing centre, where he suffered from mental tortures and was fined. The unrelenting harassment and threats were a great shock to his system, and he died on July 10th, 2005. -
Kindhearted Ms. Li Jinan, Where Are You?
2006-05-12Honggang was born to a poor farming family. His father could not afford to pay for his schooling. Honggang registered with the Hope Foundation and received financial help from Ms. Li. ring those years, Ms. Li cared for him in every possible way. She not only aided him financially with tuition fees for ten years., but also mailed books and stationery to him. Honggang lost contact with Ms Li after entering college. What he did not realise was in 2002, Ms. Li Jinan, a Falun Gong practitioner, was arrested while meeting with another fellow practitioner, and was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She was also fired from her job. -
Mr. Zhao Hongli is Dying from Torture Received in Panjin Prison
2006-05-12Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Hongli has been sentenced to eight years in prison. He went on a hunger strike to protest the unjust arrest, sentencing, and torture in the prison. He was brutally force-fed, causing his nose to be injured, and he vomited everything that he was force-fed, as well as blood. He cannot stand up, has no energy to talk, is as thin as a skeleton, and his life is in danger and has been tortured to the point of dying in the Third Ward of Panjin Prison in Liaoning Province. -
How Practitioner Ms Wang Xiuyun Was Persecuted to Death
2006-05-12Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuyun from Jilin Province was unjustly arrested by police officers from the Huadian City Public Security Bureau on June 3rd, 2002. The police officers intimidated, interrogated and tortured her severely. When she was dying, they sent her to the Changchun (Heizuizi) Women's Prison. Seven days later, Ms. Wang Xiuyun passed away. Afterwards, Yu Jinji, the director of the Political Security Section in the Huadian City Public Security Bureau, claimed publicly, "We deal with Falun Gong too lightly. It was proper to persecute Ms. Wang Xiuyun to death. Her family members can not do anything." -
Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Shandong, Liaoning and Jilin Provinces
2006-05-12Ms. Yang Qingyu was a fifty-two-year-old practitioner living in Liaoning Province. She was arrested at home in 2002 and taken to a brainwashing class because she practised Falun Gong. The police beat her for not cooperating, resulting in several injuries. The authorities continued to monitor her at home after being released. It affected her so severely mentally that she suffered convulsions at the sight of a police officer. Long-term persecution by the Chinese Communist Party contributed to her death on March 4th, 2006. -
Family Doubts Ashes Released by Police Are Those of Missing Practitioner Wu Minghzhong
2006-05-11On February 11th, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Mingzhong was arrested by police in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On February 18th, police notified Mr. Wu's family that he had committed suicide, but his family did not see his body, only what were supposed to be his ashes. [Note: When practitioners in China are tortured to death, the authorities commonly list the cause of death as "suicide"] His father said he does not believe it since he did not see the body. A box of ashes cannot prove his identity. -
Details of the Persecution that Caused the Death of Mr Li Boping, from Hubei Province
2006-05-11Dafa practitioner Li Boping continued to practise Falun Gong after the persecution started on July 20th, 1999. At that time, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officers arrested him. They threatened him, monitored him, sent him to brainwashing classes, and to mental hospitals. Due to relentless persecution, he went from being a person who was completely healthy and full of energy to suffering a mental collapse. He died in March 2002 after falling off of a building. -
Two Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hebei Province Died under Persecution
2006-05-11Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Xiu, 39, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2000, and was arrested by the 610 Office Liaison Office in Beijing. Ms. Liang was tortured after being sent back to the Town Government Compound, and her family was extorted out of five thousand yuan. Ms. Liang was arrested again in July 2003, detained in the Zhuozhou City Detention Centre, forced to go through brainwashing for three months, and extorted out of another 6,500 yuan. Under financial, mental and physical tortures, Ms. Liang became sick, and she died on March 27th, 2006. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Heilongjiang, Henan and Guangdong Provinces
2006-05-11Ms. Yang Lihua was a retired teacher. In 2002, she was arrested by police because she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution in Harbin City. The police tried to send her to a detention centre, but she escaped. She was forced to leave her home for more than a year. In this period the police issued an arrest warrant for her, and her income was cut off. The 610 Office and her school forced her to write a "Promise to Stop Practising Falun Gong". Afterwards, the police continuously went to her home and harassed her. She was badly harmed both mentally and physically, and she passed away on December 20th, 2005. -
Shen Jianli, a Teacher at Jilin University, Is Reported to Have Been Killed and Her Body Disposed Of
2006-05-10Shen Jianli was a Dafa practitioner from Changchun. At the end of April 2002, a police officer unintentionally released information that Shen Jianli had been killed as a result of persecution. So far, her body has not been found. When she was arrested, Shen Jianli was only 33. Her health was perfect, but now we have reason to believe that she is deceased, possibly as a result of organ harvesting. -
Elderly Mr. Pan Xuecheng Died under Persecution in 2005
2006-05-10Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Pan Xuecheng, 70 years old, was reported and arrested and detained for 45 days in the Wujin Police Station. Upon being released, he was arrested and taken to the Township Government to be interrogated. Under long-term persecution, the elderly Mr. Pan's mental and physical health was severely damaged. His sicknesses came back that he had had prior to practising, causing his lung to fester and he was vomiting blood. He died on September 27th, 2005. -
Four Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Henan, Shandong, and Hebei Provinces
2006-05-10Ms. Dong Fuyun was approximately 60 years old. According to her family, Ms. Dong had gone to hand out materials exposing the persecution at about 8 p.m. on February 17th. Around 9 p.m., her family received a call and then hurried to the emergency ward of the Chinese Traditional Medical Hospital. They were informed that she had a severe cerebral hemorrhage. When doctors examined her, they found Falun Dafa materials on her. Her family said her health had been good and that she did not have any illnesses. Her body was immediately cremated, so we could not examine it.
