Practitioner Shocked with Electric Batons, Leaves with the Help of Kindhearted People

This is one female practitioner's experience in Hebei Province. She had gone to Beijing over four years ago to tell people, who had been misled by the government propaganda, the facts about Falun Dafa and expose the persecution about Falun Gong. The authorities had arrested and taken her to a Shunyi County police department in suburban Beijing. She was cruelly shocked with electric batons and almost died from the torture, but left with help from a kind-hearted older police officer. -
My Husband and I Endured Long-term Persecution by the Vicious CCP; My Husband Was Tortured to Death

How the Jilin Province Education System Persecutes Practitioners
2006-02-23CCP officials in Jilin Province have ordered the administration of all colleges and universities to persecute all practitioners in the system, including taking them to brainwashing centres and trying to "reform" them. Those practitioners who refused to write "guarantee statements" were suspended from their employment using various excuses. This seriously violates related laws and regulations and has created chaos in the colleges and universities. For example, the "policy" of Northeast Normal University is that, in order to adhere to superior's "orders," the university management suspends practitioners from their teaching positions or related duties and forbids practitioner students from attending school. -
Twenty People Near Death at Daqing Prison
2006-02-23In 2005 three Falun Gong practitioners died within three months of each other from torture in Daqing Prison. On May 14th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioner Wang Hongde was tortured to death after severe physical and mental abuse. On June 7th, 2005, practitioner Xu Jishan was choked to death with water by five inmates under the direction of the prison management. On July 23rd, practitioner Yuan Qingjiang died from long-term torture. Daqing Prison guard Guo Chuntang openly said, "What's the big deal if a few people died from torture in Daqing prison?" Guard Li Fengjiang said, "When it comes to Falun Gong, if they refuse to be brainwashed, we'll cremate them." -
Older Practitioner Mr. Yang Zhizhong Tortured to Death
2006-02-22Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Zhizhong was in his 50s. In 2003, secret agents followed him home while he was carrying Falun Dafa materials. They arrested him at his home, subjected him to cruel torture, and secretly sent him to Dabei Prison on a ten-year term. He went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. His physical health was severely damaged due to long term mistreatment, but the guards would not release him until his life was in danger. Mr. Yang Zhizhong vomited large amounts of blood and was finally sent to hospital. However, he died at 5 a.m., January 19th, 2006. -
75-Year-Old Woman Practitioner Facing Unlawful Sentence
2006-02-22A 75 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, Zhu Yuezhen, from Jinan City, Shandong Province was once again arrested, and faces an imminent sentence. Ms. Zhu was arrested on December 1st, 2005, while she was walking along a road, and was held in a detention centre in Jinan City. Previously, the lawless officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) threatened that they would demand her husband to divorce her and that they would withhold her pension, and expel her from the Retirement Centre where she lived. She has been beaten, cursed, and arrested many times. -
71-Year-Old Practitioner Ms. Shen Baoying Passed Away After Enduring Persecution
2006-02-2271-year-old practitioner Ms. Shen Baoying practised Falun Gong for many years, and all her diseases had disappeared. In 1999, after the persecution started, her two daughters and son-in-law were persecuted repeatedly because they practised Falun Gong. Ms. Shen Baoying was also forced to leave her home. Ms. Shen endured great psychological pressure, worrying all day. Whenever she heard a police car she was nervous, worrying that she would lose her daughter again. She could no longer eat and became weaker and weaker. Under the tremendous pressure of persecution, she passed away on December 9th, 2005. -

2006-02-21"Later my father witnessed that the torture of practitioners in the brainwashing centre became more and more brutal. One practitioner was deprived of sleep. They were so sleepy that they fell to the floor. Consequently their mouth and teeth were injured. They even wrote sentences slandering Dafa on a practitioner's clothes. There have been many cases like this. My father found himself being deceived. Later, he managed to escape from the brainwashing centre. Fearing that I would escape too, they tightened their monitoring on me." -
Practitioner Ms. Yang Lijuan Suffers Persecution in Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp
2006-02-21Jilin City Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Lijuan was transferred to the provincial Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp on September 23rd, 2005 after having been arrested one month ago, had a confession extracted by force, and unjustly sentenced. The camp police are applying tortures such as shocks with electric batons and denial of sleep to continuously persecute Ms. Yang. Her family visited her. When asked by family members what was going on, in front of the camp police and instructor, Ms. Yang talked about the tortures she suffered. She talked about how she had been hung up, force-fed mustard water for more than five hours, tied to a metal chair and shocked by electric batons. -
Six Dafa Practitioners from Tianjin, Henan, and Shanxi Passed Away Due to Persecution
2006-02-21Wang Yanbin was over 50 years old. She was a well-respected teacher in Henan Province. On July 20th, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Upon returning home after an appeal, the police began to monitor her. In the beginning of 2000, she was fined 4000 yuan simply because she handed out materials exposing the persecution. In February 2001, Ms. Wang was detained for two months after being discovered with practitioners in her home sharing experiences. Ms. Wang Yanbin was harassed and threatened by the local 610 Office and the police for years, until she became ill and passed away on January 26th, 2003. -
Cruel Persecution of Practitioners at Sichuan Province's Nanmusi Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-02-21With encouragement and support of the guards, drug addict criminals thought of many wicked ideas to persecute practitioners. They locked up practitioner Ms. Geng Xiaojun in a dark place and hung her up for one day and night before letting her down. When they saw that she still refused to cooperate, they crossed and folded her legs together, and used a rope to tie her legs in this position for over ten hours. Ms. Geng was only released when she lost consciousness from the torture. -

2006-02-20"In early 2001, at Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp, we practitioners did the Falun Gong exercises as a group. The guards thought that I had organised the activity. They didn't treat me the same way they did other practitioners. The others were subjected to physical and verbal abuse, and handcuffed at will. They faked kindness towards me. This form of persecution is quite shameless, because while they lull you into trusting them, they persecute you. You are unaware of their true intention, and eventually they'll put you in a position where you feel better off dead than alive." -
Practitioner Mr. Liu Guoxing Passed Away Due to Persecution in Chongqing City Brainwashing Centre
2006-02-20Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Guoxing was arrested for the second time by police on October 1st, 2005. After the arrest, he was taken to the Baimayi Brainwashing Centre where he was tortured into a state of mental instability and he experienced frequent fainting episodes. On January 30th at some point after being released from the brainwashing centre, Mr. Liu lost consciousness and fell into a ditch four metres deep. Sadly, he passed away on February 5th, 2006. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Ping Dies after Enduring Cruel Torture
2006-02-2048-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ping, died on November 27th, 2005 due to long term persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The torture she suffered included the following: being hung up, being shocked with electric batons, being deprived of sleep, being sprayed with cold water in the winter, being exposed to the elements where swarms of mosquitoes could bite her, having her pubic hair pulled out, suffering sexual assault, having her mouth forced open with a mop handle when she was on hunger strike and thereby knocking out 3 of her teeth, being force-fed and having the feeding tubes left in for an entire week.
