Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. An Fenghua from Heilongjiang Province Was Tortured to Death in December 2004

47 year old Ms. An Fenghua went to Beijing twice to appeal for Falun Dafa, and was arrested, detained, and sentenced to forced labour both times. She had to squat down on the floor so that she could be handcuffed to the basement's metal fence for at least several hours at a time, and sometimes even several days. An Fenghua was tortured until she became paralysed and blind. She contracted TB, and died on December 21, 2004 in the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre. -
64 Year Old Ms. Zhang Lanhua from Hebei Province Died from Persecution-Related Illnesses in August 2004
2005-04-11Ms. Zhang Lanhua was 64 years old. In November 2000, police ransacked her home without a search warrant, confiscated her belongings and detained her. They viciously assaulted Ms. Zhang Lanhua during her detention, shocking her with electric batons, a brutal torture which blistered her mouth. After Ms. Zhang returned home, her health was consistently bad and village officials frequently came to her house to harass her. On August 16, 2004, Ms. Zhang Lanhua passed away. -
Twelve Falun Gong Practitioners Who Were Persecuted to Death
2005-04-11Nine out of twelve Falun Dafa practitioners who were persecuted to death were over 50 years old. Most of those were in their 60's and even one was 80 years old. Seven of these elderly people were ladies. How could the Chinese authorities consider these harmless, elderly people, who were only trying to live by the principles of Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance, a threat to social stability? In looking at the true situation, it makes this persecution all the more senseless and heartbreaking. -
Parents Illegally Detained in Forced Labour Camp, 10-Year-Old Son Left Unattended
2005-04-11Recently, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Luo Yulin and Ms. Meng Qingwen, a married couple from Shandong Province, were detained in forced labour camps for the second time. The first time they were abducted by police, their son was only 6 years old. Last December police again arrested the couple, leaving their now 10 year old son in tears and once again deprived of his family. -
57 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Huixuan Tortured to Death
2005-04-10Ms. Cheng Huixuan was 57 years old. She firmly cultivated Falun Dafa and was arrested by the police many times. She was abducted and sentenced to three years forced labour at the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. In the camp, Ms. Chen was tortured with the "big hang up" and beatings, denied sleep, and forced to perform heavy labour for over ten hours daily. When her whole body was swollen and symptoms of severe diabetes appeared, she was released back home. Her condition continued to deteriorate, and she died at 5 a.m. on March 21, 2005. -

The Family of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Tao Hongsheng Suffers Tragic Experience (Photo)
2005-04-10Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Tao Hongsheng and Ms. Yu Fengyun from Hebei Province were both repeatedly persecuted by the local officials. As a result, Mr. Tao was tortured to death on September 20, 2000 and his wife is still imprisoned. For the past several years, their two daughters have been dependent on each other for survival. During this period of time, the daughters have had no income except the financial support of kindhearted people and other Falun Dafa practitioners. -
Officials at the Liaoyang City Detention Centre Tortured and Sexually Humiliated Women Practitioners
2005-04-10In May 2002, Ms. Luo Li went along with other female Falun Gong practitioners out to let people know the truth about Falun Dafa and distribute leaflets exposing the persecution. Some people who had been poisoned by the propaganda defaming Falun Dafa reported them, and they were arrested and sent a detention centre. The policemen beat two practitioners unconscious and three others until their bodies were black and blue. The police forced and assisted prisoners to strip the practitioners and to beat their bare bodies. They even forced the nude women to go through the male wards to humiliate them. -
Germany Calls for Concern over a Young Couple Harassed by the Chinese National Security Bureau
2005-04-09The young couple, Jiang and Guo, lived overseas for several years and they fully enjoyed the freedom and the goodness of cultivating Falun Gong. However, as soon as they returned to China, they lost all of their basic human rights. Like tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners and their family members, the couple’s friends and relatives are intimidated and suppressed by the Chinese communist regime. We would like to call on the international society and the extensive kind-hearted people around the world to be concerned about this couple’s situation and put an end to this persecution once and for all so as to help all Falun Gong practitioners regain their freedom. -
The Inside Story of the Death of Ms. Dong Cui
2005-04-09There have always been differing accounts of the death of Dong Cui at the Beijing Women's Prison in Daxin County. She was detained at a Detention Centre in Beijing for two years. Later, she was transferred to the Beijing Women's Prison, where she was severely tortured. The government produced various documents to show that she died from lung thrombus. Yet at the time of death, her body was covered with bruises, and there was a hole in her head. -
Jiang Zemin's Evil Regime, as Seen Through the Suffering of a 70-Year-Old Lady
2005-04-09I am a seventy-year-old woman who has been detained, persecuted and forced to be homeless for close to three years, simply because I distributed leaflets that exposed the lies about Falun Gong being spread by Jiang Zemin's regime. In the police station a policeman with alcohol on his breath came over to me and said menacingly, "Old woman, can you see I have had a few drinks? I am capable of doing anything when I am drunk." Soon he threw me in a detention centre. -
Practitioners Shot At in 2002, Then Seized and Tortured in the Liaoyang City Detention Centre in 2003
2005-04-09On October 12, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners Wang Jingchun and Wang Jinping, a couple who lived in Liaoning Province, rode on a motorcycle to post leaflets exposing the persecution along a highway. The police spotted and decided to arrest them. During the arrest, the police shot at them twice (orders from higher authorities are that when the police see practitioners posting leaflets exposing the persecution the police can shoot right away). -
Zhangjiakou City Police Persecute Ms. Cai Jinhua and Extort Money from Her Family
2005-04-09On December 15, 2001, practitioner Ms. Cai Jinhua went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. Police arrested her and placed her in the Haidian District prison. Local officials forced her husband to pay 3,000 yuan for her release. Her husband could only borrow 1,000 "yuan" from his work place to pay them. On December 18, police again arrested Ms. Cai and put her in the county jail. The 610 Office threatened her husband, saying that she would be put into a forced labour camp. He was so afraid for her that he borrowed 5,200 yuan to pay the authorities. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yin Huafeng from Sichuan Province Died Following Repeated Torture
2005-04-08Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, Ms. Yin Huafeng had been persecuted by twenty-three different units and detained seven times within sixteen months. She was sentenced to forced labour three times, and forced to become homeless for more than two years. She was tortured repeatedly, and even when she was on medical parole she was sentenced to 18 months forced labour. Ms. Yin Huafeng died on March 8, 2005. -
Shameless Persecution at the Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp
2005-04-08A 40-year-old female practitioner was brutally tortured at the Shibalihe Forced Labour Camp. In mid-May, because this practitioner didn't cooperate with the guards, inmate group leader Chen Hong reported her. The guards locked her in a small room and instigated drug addict convicts to take turns torturing her for 83 days, which caused severe internal injuries. Once inmate stepped on a practitioner's foot and pulled her nipples until they bled.
