Germany: After Hearing the Truth, the People in Bad Salszuflen are Supportive
2004-11-17The practitioners found sympathetic ears and hearts. That Saturday, lots of people had come into town, many more than usual. The Mayor of Bad Salzuflen visited the practitioners to get a first hand impression of Falun Gong. Before leaving he told the local practitioners to come and see him if they ever need any help or have any questions. -
Falun Gong Information Centre Germany: Hong Kong - Acquittal of Four Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-11-17On the 14th of March 2002, the accused were holding a hunger strike protest against an order issued by the former President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Jiang Zemin: “Shoot to kill Falun Gong practitioners on public streets.” The Swiss and Hong Kong practitioners were arrested at that same location. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners in Munich Expose the Persecution in Chinese Labour Camps

2004-11-15Feeling the urgency of stopping the human rights atrocities against people who practise Falun Gong in China and the importance of bringing the chief persecutors, such as former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and his cronies Liu Jing, Luo Gan and Zhou Yongkang, to justice through legal means, practitioners in Finland decided to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong to a wide range of people. Germany: Activities in Ansbach to Expose Jiang's Crimes in the Persecution of Falun Gong
2004-11-15On the 6th November we held an activity in the southern German town of Ansbach to expose the human rights abuses against people who practise Falun Gong in China. We displayed sketches portraying the violent abuses waged against practitioners in China's labour camps and detention centres, so that the people of Ansbach could find out more about the evil nature of this persecution. -
Testimony of a Practitioner in Germany: I Suffered for 2 Years in a Beijing Female Forced Labour Camp
2004-11-14On January the 5th 2002, Xiong Wei was arrested whilst distributing leaflets exposing the persecution against Falun Gong. She was then sentenced to two years in a Beijing female forced labour camp till January the 4th 2004. After two years of suffering in a labour camp and nine months of living at home under surveillance, Xiong Wei arrived at Frankfurt airport on September the 28th 2004. The following is a personal account of her two years of suffering. -
Italy: Promoting Falun Gong at a Medical Forum in Turin
2004-11-14Italian Falun Gong practitioners presented a short history of Falun Gong and how the practice has spread to 100 million people in 60 countries. They also talked about the terrible human rights abuses that are being committed in China to force practitioners to renounce their belief in Falun Gong. The participants listened attentively and enthusiastically asked questions. -
Austrian Falun Gong Information Centre: Help Appears for Mr. Wang whose Passport Extension was Refused by the Chinese Consulate in Vienna
2004-11-13Mr. Wang, who practises Falun Gong in Austria and has been campaigning for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China, was told in mid July 2004 by the Chinese consulate that his Chinese passport would not be extended. In the face of this type of harassment, he and his Austrian family members appealed for help from the Austrian Government. The regional government of Northern Austria showed great understanding for Wang’s situation and speeded up his application for Austrian citizenship. -
Switzerland: Promoting Falun Gong in Remote Areas of Switzerland
2004-11-13There were 840 people who signed the petition to support Falun Gong in St. Gallen and more than 1000 flyers were distributed. As we finished and prepared to go home, many people still rushed to ask for information from us. Some even said that they wish us success and know that the persecutors will never win. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong in Southampton
2004-11-12On the 6th November, a group of Dafa practitioners from England and Wales arrived in the town centre of Southampton in the south of England to promote Falun Gong and tell people about the campaign of genocide being waged against the practice by a few criminals in the Chinese Government who bring shame to the Chinese people. Lots of people asked for details of the free classes where they can go to learn the exercises. -
Germany: Falun Gong Information Day in Dortmund
2004-11-12Dafa practitioners from Dortmund in Germany have held different forms of Falun Gong activities during the past five years that the practice has been persecuted. Every Saturday sees practitioners in downtown Dortmund talking to people about Falun Gong and telling them that over 1,000 people have lost their lives because they refused to renounce their beliefs. -
Germany: Exposing the Torture and Persecution at an Information Day in Erlangen
2004-11-11At the end of October 2004, Germany welcomed another Falun Dafa Information Day. Practitioners from Erlangen and neighboring cities demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and held an anti-torture exhibition, where they re-enacted how China’s prison guards torture people who believe in living by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. -
Swedish Newspaper highlights the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners and Human Rights Abuses in China
2004-11-11Örebro in Sweden and Yantai in Shandong, China are sister cities. The article stated that Member of Swedish Parliament Mr. Sten Tolgfor demanded that the local government of Örebro County clarify how the human rights issues are being handled during their meetings with representatives from their sister city, Yantai. Mr. Tolgfor stressed that it is inexcusable to just honour the economic prospects of China and neglect the human rights abuses. -
EFGIC: Falun Gong Death Cases Climb in September and October
2004-11-10'During September and October, sources in China reported 68 cases of people who died as a result of the persecution of Falun Gong. At the time of writing the deaths of 1,101 Falun Gong practitioners have been reported at an average of 17 cases per month. 42 cases were recorded in October, representing one of the highest monthly totals since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999.'
