    'A Chinese businessman who is also a resident of Denmark has accused the Chinese embassy of destroying his business enterprise because he is a practitioner of Falun Gong...The Danish People’s Party spokesman on foreign policy, Peter Skaarup, is outraged at the case and is now requesting the Foreign Minister Stig Møller to investigate whether China and their embassy in Denmark have persecuted the Chinese businessman.'
  • Belgium: Press Conference about Genocide Lawsuit against Jiang

    On 9th October, world-renowned human rights lawyer Mr Georges-Henri Beauthier and the Belgian Falun Dafa Association held a press conference regarding the decision made by the state prosecutor over a lawsuit filed against the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. Important media organisations were invited to the conference. A representative from the Belgian Falun Dafa Association made a statement in the conference and expressed their determination: "We will continue to provide proof of the genocide against Falun Dafa."
  • UK: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal Against the Persecution in front of the Chinese Embassy in London

    Falun Gong practitioners hand out leaflets to passers-by that contain details of the lawsuit against Jiang for his crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong. To date, more than 1600 practitioners have been persecuted to death. There are still 6000 Falun Gong practitioners illegally imprisoned, with hundreds of thousands of practitioners being detained in forced labour camps.

    There were many people there on that day to celebrate the market’s one hundredth birthday. Visitors received information about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution in China. Practitioners also collected signatures to appeal for the release of Charles Li, an American Doctor who has been unlawfully detained in China since January 2003.

Good people have been tortured, murdered, and raped during this persecution...Luo’s crimes include crimes against humanity and genocide, and the victims are Falun Gong practitioners.'
  • Sweden: More People stand up to Defend the Human Rights of Falun Gong Practitioners

    Since practitioners exposed the Gothenburg’s Chinese consulate’s attempts to stop a local radio station from broadcasting “Falun Gong Time” by using Sino-Swedish relations as a threat, people from various parts of Sweden have expressed great concern about the issue. Various media organisations continued to report on the news for days. Parliamentary members, professors of law and human rights organisations have commented on the issue one after another by condemning this act by the Chinese consulate that disregarded Swedish law and violated a democratic country’s freedom of speech.

    On September the 17th, the Centre for Improvement of Health and Morality in St. Petersburg sent a letter to President Vladimir Voronin to draw his attention to something: The man who is currently paying an official visit to the Republic of Moldova has been prosecuted in several countries on charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and cruel torture, and this man is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPA Central Committee. He is also the head of the so-called “610 Office”, which was specially established to implement the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Denmark: Drummer of a Famous Musician’s Band attracts Media Attention

    Famous musician and rock music icon David Bowie recently performed in Copenhagen. His drummer, Sterling Campbell, has attracted a lot of media attention because he is a Falun Gong practitioner. Like millions of practitioners who work in all sorts of different professions, Sterling volunteers his spare time to let people know the facts about the persecution.
  • Germany: Dafa Practitioners bring a Good Day to Bad Kreuznach City

    Many people stopped to watch the exercise demonstration, listen to the music, look at the display boards and take materials to find out more. Some of them signed a petition calling for the release of Xiong Wei, a practitioner from Germany who has been illegally detained in China, and others asked questions about Falun Gong.

    Instead of practitioners handing out materials, people were coming up to practitioners and asking for information whilst they watched the Falun Gong exercise demonstration. They expressed a tremendous interest in Falun Gong by constantly asking questions and they were angry at this cruel suppression of the innocent. People could not comprehend that there exists a place where Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance are prohibited and people are not allowed to be good.
  • The Establishment of the “Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice" receives Intensive Interest

    According to a report by “Radio Free Asia”, dated October the 3rd, the coalition has received support from European societies ever since its establishment, because its objective is to expose crimes committed by Jiang, bring him to the court of conscience and justice, and have him stand before the law to receive judgement.
  • UK: People learn the Truth at a London Garden Party (pictures)

    Practitioners felt that this was a great opportunity to let them know more about the persecution of Falun Gong and the appeal to rescue UK practitioners’ friends and relatives who are illegally imprisoned in China. People signed practitioners’ petition and expressed support after listening to a speech by the brother of Zhu Baolian, who is illegally imprisoned in Beijing for handing out Falun Gong leaflets.
  • Russia: Experiences during the Fourth Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Moscow

    Outside the conference, three art exhibitions were on display and in the evening practitioners put on a performance for the people of Moscow. This included the elegant traditional Chinese “Fan Dance” and “Lotus Dance”, piano recitals and a graceful ballet. There was also singing and music. All of the performances focused on a theme: “Falun Dafa is good”. Many people in the audience felt that they had witnessed a first-rate performance. At the end, they stayed behind to chat with the practitioners.

  • Albania: Report on a Successful Art Exhibition in the Capital City of Tirana

    Guests who attended the opening ceremony were artists, officials from embassies to Albania, university professors, representatives from human rights organisations, government officials, etc. Reporters were sent to the ceremony from the main media outlets. A local radio station arranged an interview with practitioners after they heard about the exhibition.
