Evidence Suggests Ms. Wu Hong Died as a Result of Torture

On January 7th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wu Hong's body was cremated. The police claim that Ms. Wu Hong was severely injured when she "jumped from a moving vehicle" on the way from a brainwashing class to a detention centre. During the time she was being treated in the hospital, many Falun Dafa practitioners visited her, and discovered that her skull had been fractured, but her surface skin had no scratches or cuts, disproving the claim that she jumped from a moving vehicle. Normally when a person jumps from a moving vehicle, the skin would be badly scratched or cut. Ms. Wu Hong had no breaks in the skin at all, but all her injuries were internal. These were very possibly caused by brutal beatings that were done in such a way so as not to cause visible injuries. -
Persecution of Practitioners in Shiling Prison, Siping City, Jilin Province - (Part 3)
2007-01-19Practitioner Mr. Yang Zhanjiu was tortured brutally and is now permanently disabled. In April 2005, his over 70-year-old mother, over 60-year-old mother-in-law, and another relative came to the prison to ask for his release. The prison head told the guards not to let them enter the prison grounds. Mr. Yang's relatives talked to the gate guard for a long time and eventually were allowed to go to fifth floor for a talk with the director of the Department of Political Affairs. The director saw Mr. Yang's mother-in-law and immediately went into a fury, "How dare you come here! I'm not letting you see him no matter what!" -
Wang Bo and Her Family Still Detained and Denied Family Visits
2007-01-19Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Bo and her family were tried by the Communist regime on November 10th, 2006. According to Wang Bo's relative, the arrest of Wang Bo and her family is the result of Wang Bo and her father Wang Xinzhong having recently published accounts of their persecution for practising Falun Gong on overseas websites, including the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. The relative said, "Wang Bo had previously said something against her will on CCTV [Central China Television], but those were not her real thoughts. She recently expressed her true feelings through an article published on an overseas website." -
Authorities at Jinzhou "Correctional Centre" (Liaoning Province) Brutally Tortured Practitioner Mr. Weng Hongjun
2007-01-19On December 1st, 2004, police arrested practitioner Weng Hongjun, imprisoned him at Liaoyang Prison for two years of forced labour camp. Because he continued to practise the Falun Gong exercises when he was imprisoned, the prison authorities tortured him many times. They locked him up in a small cell and made him "Carry a Sword in the Back." They shocked his head, his neck, and his back with an electric baton for a dozen minutes. On another occasion, a guard handcuffed him behind his back against a tall heating pipe and forced him to stand on tiptoe in a handcuffed position. The handcuff marks stayed on his wrists for a long time. -
More Information on Jilin Province Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wei Xiushan Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-01-19Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wei Xiushan was persecuted to death around 2003 or 2004, in the 7th Section of Jilin Prison. The ringleader of the convicted criminals in the 7th Section at the time was Lan Shaohai from Yanbian. Another vicious person, Zhao Fuyu (people call him "African"), was from Shulan. He was ruthless. Originally, he was sentenced to one year in jail, but his sentence was extended because he beat a person to death at the detention centre. Then he was transferred to Jilin Prison, and the police made use of him to persecute Dafa practitioners. -
Facts about the Persecution of Mr. Kang Zhiguo from Shanxi Province and How He Suffered Before His Death
2007-01-18At the beginning of November 2003, Mr. Kang was imprisoned in Jinzhong Prison in Shanxi Province. The prison guard instructor ordered criminals to "transform" Kang Zhiguo, using whatever means they chose. A murderer, who had a postponed death sentence, beat him every day until Mr. Kang became paralysed. Later he was again mercilessly beaten. Mr. Kang Zhiguo died on May 21st 2005. -

2007-01-18Practitioners who protest with hunger strikes are force-fed. Force-feeding is one of the tortures that destroys practitioners' wills and brings more suffering than one can imagine. It actually is one of the most brutal, cruel, and deceitful torture methods. They use it to torture practitioners and deceive the outside world. Practitioners that are force-fed are all in terrible condition. Their mouths, throats, and intestines are injured. After having been force-fed for a while one suffers constant internal pain. It feels as if one's intestines are being torn apart. -
Liu Shuping Detained at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin for Nearly Six Years
2007-01-18Ms. Liu Shuping's term at the Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin has been extended four times. January 1st, 2006, was her release date after the second extension of six months. By then, she had been detained at the labour camp for five and a half years. When her family members arrived in the labour camp after travelling 60 miles, the staff at the detention centre said that her term had been extended for another four months. Now it's been far longer than four months, yet Ms. Liu is still detained at the labour camp. -
Exposing the Hypocritical Tactics of the Langfang Brainwashing Centre
2007-01-18Han Zhiguang has been the Head of the Langfang City 610 Office since July 20th, 1999. He repeatedly incited his subordinates to commit crimes. To deceive the practitioners into cooperating, however, he always put himself forward as a kindhearted person. He sent numerous practitioners to forced labour camps. He was cited for his so-called "merit" in persecuting Falun Gong. He is known to have used a particularly vile form of persecution: those who had been coerced into renouncing Falun Gong would be released only when they had betrayed two fellow practitioners. -
Please Continue to Try to Rescue Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuling from Henan Province
2007-01-18Ms Yang Xiuling was seized by personnel from national security at the beginning of May 2006. Yu Yiyun, head of the 610 Office in Zhoukou City, bragged that he would sentence Yang Xiuling. She was sentenced by Chuanhui District Court to 10 years, but the prison officers refused to accept her. Her case was rejected and retried by Zhoukou Intermediate court due to "insufficient evidence" on December 15th. Her husband was deceived by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies and was frightened by their high-pressure terror tactics. In fear of being persecuted also, he divorced her. -
Persecution of Practitioners in Shiling Prison, Siping City, Jilin Province - (Part 1)
2007-01-17The staff at Siping Shiling Prison, from the top to the bottom levels, put much effort into the goal of "destroying practitioners physically," unless they renounce their belief in Falun Gong. Yet, they show a completely different image to the world beyond the prison gate. When a Falun Gong practitioner is first transferred from another prison to Siping, they give the practitioner the impression of having escaped the brutality experienced in other prisons. However once they discover that the practitioner cannot be "transformed," they show their brutal side. They then use all kinds of torture methods to the point of "physical destruction." -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Dr. Li Huiyun, Lecturer from Hebei University of Science and Technology, 43, Suffers from Schizophrenia Due to Persecution
2007-01-17In the brainwashing centre a "collaborator" burned 43-year-old Ms. Li Huiyun's hands with cigarette butts, causing four burn wounds. Li Huiyun became confused and disoriented after long-term sleep deprivation, being tied up day and night, brutal beatings, deprived of toilet use, and various forms of humiliation. One month later she developed symptoms of schizophrenia. -
The Persecution of Mr. Wang Cunbo at Anshan City Police Department and Jinzhou Prison
2007-01-17During interrogation at the Police Department of Anshan City, policemen cuffed Mr. Wang Cunbo's hands behind his back. He was not allowed to close his eyes for two days and his hands and arms became very swollen. Several policemen hit and kicked him, trying to force him to sign the interrogation notes. Wang refused to cooperate. Six policemen then used a crueller torture method. They pushed Wang's head into a basin full of water many times. While he was trying to breathe, they kept hitting and kicking him. Mr. Cunbo almost fainted. -
Many Practitioners Recently Arrested in Pingyuan County, Shandong Province
2007-01-17In the first half of 2006 alone, the police in Pingyuan County ransacked five practitioners' homes, arrested ten practitioners and sentenced two practitioners to a forced labour camp. In addition, the local police have ransacked and harassed more than twenty households of local practitioners and extorted money from them. Since November 2006, police have been conducting illegal searches at will in Yuzhuang Village, Qiancao Town. They forced practitioners to renounce Falun Gong and sign guarantees not to practise Falun Gong. Those practitioners who refused to comply were arrested or fined. -
New Crimes Committed by the 610 Office of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province
2007-01-17Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaoyuan has been missing since December 20th, 2006. It was later learned that the 610 Office arrested her because she practised Falun Dafa. She is the second practitioner who has been arrested in November 2006 from the Dou District and she is currently being detained in the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp. In her previous detention police officers tortured her by giving her unknown drugs.
