Ms. Yu Jingxia Is In Critical Condition at Hebei Province Women's Prison

News from the Hebei Province Women's Prison indicates that more than 200 Falun Dafa practitioners are illegally detained at the prison. Practitioners who have become mentally unstable due to the relentless persecution are locked up in the guard chamber. They are forced to do hard labour for more than 12 hours each day. In the 3rd and 7th Supervised Areas, they sometimes work more than 20 hours per day, often until midnight without food. They never receive a day of rest. -
Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the No. 3 Prison in Anhui Province -- Part 1
2006-07-24In less than one week Fang Yingzhou's body became deformed. Every morning and afternoon he could be seen on his way to the prison hospital to be force-fed. He painfully walked in very small steps with great effort, his heavy handcuffs and leg-irons dragging noisily on the ground. People who haven't personally suffered the persecution can hardly imagine the cruelty of the prison hospital. When he came back he always held his chest with both arms; there was always blood at the corner of his mouth and purple bruises on the backs of his ears. His expression was always one of extreme pain. -
Mr. Wang Xin, PhD Student in Prestigious University, Persecuted at Huazi Prison
2006-07-24Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Xin from Shenyang City is a 30-year-old former Ph.D. candidate from Tsinghua University. In 2001, lawless officials abducted him. Afterwards, in 2002, he was sent to his original hometown. Since he refused to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa, he was detained at Huazi Prison. In defence of his fundamental human rights Mr. Wang Xin went on hunger strike, opposing the persecution against him. The persecution of Mr. Wang Xin has lasted for 99 days, and now Mr. Wang's body has become emaciated. We ask that everyone takes notice of this terrible situation and helps rescue Mr. Wang. -
Dafa Practitioners Arrested in Nanchang City in March 2006 Were Severely Tortured
2006-07-24The director of Daishan Police Sub-Station ordered police to persecute Ms Zhang Shujun. Each of them pulled one of her legs apart 180 degrees, then they fiercely pushed and pulled them apart and shook them back and forth. Her lower back was broken due to the violent shaking. She was persecuted for six consecutive hours, and was not allowed to close her eyes for even one second during the torture. If she did, the police ordered the lookout patrols to brutally beat her again. Policeman Deng Xiangyang pounded her toes using the stool legs. Her toes were crushed and covered with blood. -
Mr. Gao Jidong Died under Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Gao Jidong lived in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He was held in the Xinglongshan brainwashing centre in 2002, where he was tortured until he was as thin as a skeleton. He had to leave home in that physical condition to avoid being illegally arrested at home again. After living four years of a hard life, he died on July 15th 2006. Mr. Gao Jidong was among the first group of Falun Dafa practitioners to be subjected to forced brainwashing. -
The Eighth District of Harbin Women's Prison Brutally Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-07-23On August 15th, 2003, when Ms. Ma Shuhua was transferred to the Eighth District, she could barely walk. Gui Nana organised other inmates to tie her with rope, seal her mouth with tape, then drag her to the "chicken house," where she was tortured with electric batons and dragged by several inmates as they ran. At night, they put Ms. Ma on the cement ground and did not allow her to sleep. For 11 days, her feet were swollen and bloody, and the blood glued her socks to her feet for more than half a month. After her socks were taken off, her toenails came off... Her feet were dark blue and there were holes where the nails had been. -
The Crimes Committed at Haidian District Police Department and the Haidian District Detention Centre in Beijing

Ms Zhao Xin was a respected teacher at Beijing's University of Business and Industry. When she went to do the Falun Dafa exercises on June 19th, 2000 in Zizhuyuan Park, Zhao Xin was arrested and detained in the Qinghe Detention Centre in the Haidian District. On June 22nd she was beaten until three vertebrae in her neck were fractured. -
Three Elderly Practitioners in Heilongjiang and Guangdong Provinces Died After Suffering Persecution
2006-07-23Ms. Deng Guiyun, over 70 years old, began to practise Falun Gong in 1996, and all her illnesses disappeared. In addition, she used to be illiterate before she practised Falun Gong. Since she practised Falun Gong, she could read Dafa books. After the CCP began to persecute Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, she lost the opportunity to share experiences with fellow practitioners because of threats from the village administration agents. In 2003, her diseases reoccurred. Because her family members were afraid and tried to prevent her from contacting Falun Dafa practitioners, she stayed in bed and could not stand up. She passed away on April 5th, 2006. -
Twenty Additional Deaths of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners in China Confirmed in June 2006
2006-07-22Twenty deaths of Falun Gong practitioners as a result of persecution in Mainland China were confirmed in June 2006. Among those are eight female practitioners, representing 40% of the total; 14 deaths occurred between January 2006 and June 2006. Five of these practitioners died in June 2006. Due to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) information blockade, the ages of four practitioners are unknown. Eleven of the 20 practitioners, 55% of the total, were over 55 years old. -
After Being Missing Six Years, Wang Xiangshang Returned Home and Died at the Door
2006-07-22At 2:00 p.m., June 16th, 2006, Mr. Wang Xiangshang suddenly appeared at the door of his home and fell to the ground. His mother kept calling his name. Mr. Wang looked at his mother with wide open eyes, filled with tears. He died without saying one word. When he died, this 38-year-old man only weighed about 25 kg [55 lbs]. Because he practised Falun Dafa, Mr. Wang was forced to leave home to escape the persecution. For the past 6 years, his family members had no idea where he was. After being missing for 6 years, he suddenly appeared at the front door of his home. But why was he near death? How did he arrive at the door? This has to be investigated! -
Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners by Xiangtan City 610 Office Agents
2006-07-22The "Wujia Garden" in Xiangtan City is a 610 Office brainwashing centre. Agents from the 610 Office arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners and took them there. They force the practitioners to sign documents, write guarantee statements and watch videos. More than ten Dafa practitioners were recently sent to there. During the past seven years, Xiangtan City 610 Office agents sent at least thirty five Dafa practitioners to forced labour camps. Dafa practitioner Xu Ailian was sent to a labour camp twice and suffered a mental collapse after being savagely tortured at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. -
Letter to Vice-President of the European Parliament Edward McMillan-Scott Concerning the Participation of Volkswagen Group China in the Persecution of Falun Gong
2006-07-22As the family member of a persecuted Falun Gong practitioner employed by Volkswagen in China, I am writing to you in order to ask you to pay special attention to the disgraceful behaviour of Volkswagen in participating in the CCP regime's persecution against Falun Gong, and ask you, as a politician of stature, to provide help to these persecuted people. Located in Changchun, Jilin Province, FAW-VW was established in 1991. With an annual output capacity of 660,000 cars and 360,000 engines, it is considered to be one of the most prosperous firms in the northeast region of China. But between 1999 and 2003, at least ten employees who practise Falun Gong were dismissed for refusing to give up their belief. -
Mr. Zhang Quanfu Tortured to Death by Guard Wang Tao at Chaoyanggou Labour Camp
2006-07-21Practitioner Mr. Zhang Quanfu was tortured terribly and had scabies all over his body due to the inhumane living conditions. He was forced sit for entire days and not allowed to use the bathroom. He weighed less than 30 kg, ate very little and was in critical condition. Despite this, the labor camp guards did not release him. Instead, the torture against him was even more severe, and he was forced to sit on the bench for even longer. It was very common that he was forced to sit from 5:00 a.m. until midnight. -
Account of Falun Gong Practitioner Zhang Shunlong's Death
2006-07-21Mr. Zhang was detained on the third floor and interrogated by several dozen police. Around 10 a.m., he fell from the third floor. The police claimed that he jumped, yet two people failed to prevent his fall. Zhang was handcuffed with a broken leg. There were over a dozen police watching over him, and the window was very narrow. How could he have jumped out? It is obvious that he was thrown from the building. The police tried to evade responsibility upon seeing that he would not survive. -
Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Wang Mingzhen in Sichuan Province
2006-07-21In January 2003, Ms. Wang was forced to stand still because she was practising the Falun Gong exercises. The head of the detention facility, used a fang-like baton to hit Wang Mingzhen's buttocks and thighs mercilessly. Ms. Wang suffered great pain but continued to do the exercises. The on-duty supervisors then handcuffed Ms. Wang with her arms behind her back and hung her up in the air under a steel door by the handcuffs. Only her toes could reach the floor. She was hung in this position around the clock, and finally her body became totally numb. In addition, Ms. Wang was not allowed any food or water, and she was not allowed to use the toilet. This torture went on for five consecutive days.
