Brutal Persecution that I Witnessed the Two Times I Was Sent to the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp

During my detention, I witnessed many instances of police brutality towards practitioners. In July 2004, guards directed four drug addicts to torture 57-year-old Mr. Xu Shaoan. They beat him and used sewing needles to stab his fingers and toes. He was injured in many places and lost consciousness. After he came to, they continued to torture him. Police mixed drugs into his food and tied up his hands. He could not stand up. He was only allowed to be in a sitting position. His face became disfigured due to torture. He was finally released after being tortured until he was mentally traumatised. -
Zhang Hongwei's Wife Describes the Persecution Her Husband Suffered
2006-06-29My husband Zhang Hongwei is a Falun Gong practitioner. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. He was locked in a small cell for more than two years for persisting in his belief in Falun Dafa. During the two years, he was tortured on a "Death Bed" for over 50 days. He also was tortured in the "Big Hang-up" position. Jailers instigated criminals to beat him savagely. He suffered tremendously due to the brutal torture. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Sha Litian from Tianjin City Arrested
2006-06-29After the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, Mr. Sha Litian was brutally tortured repeatedly. On January 1st, 2003, when he was held in the Jianxin Forced Labour Camp of Tianjin City, the temperature was 15 centigrade below zero (5 degrees Fahrenheit) and it was snowing. All of his clothes were ripped off and he was locked in an iron cage for seven days, with the windows and doors around him opened and an electric fan running. Three to four guards wearing insulated coats used high voltage electric batons to shock him. On June 18th, 2006, he was arrested by police again and taken to the Wuqing District Detention Centre. -

Additional Information About Zeng Xian'e Who Was Killed in Hubei Shayang Labour Camp
2006-06-28I witnessed how a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hubei Shiyan area was persecuted to death. I only knew her name was Zeng Xian'e, and she was in her 30s. Around midnight, we suddenly heard rapid footsteps and people talking about sending her quickly to the hospital. She was beside the room where I was, so I raised my head to watch after I heard the sound. The second day, practitioner Zeng died. We asked the police how Zeng was. They said she died of "heart disease". I thought the autopsy was done at the request of her work unit leader and the family to verify the reason of death. Now however, I am clear that it was done because they wanted her organs. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Qu Ping From Dalian City Dies from Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qu Ping from Dalian City, Liaoning Province was arrested and held in detention centres and labour camps many times because she persisted in her belief in Falun Gong and its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. She suffered tremendous physical damage from the tortures and passed away on May 22nd, 2006 at the age of 51. -
Persecution of Practitioners in Sichuan Province's Ya'an Prison
2006-06-28By the end of 2002, Ya'an Prison had detained more than 30 practitioners. The major persecution methods are: electrical shock, other physical torture (including being forcing to stand), beatings, interrogations, "contrary" study (having to sit for extended periods), running and so on. Two criminals monitored each practitioner around the clock as arranged by the prison police, including toilet use, washing clothes, eating, washing the bowls; even sleep was monitored in shifts and a written record kept. Dafa practitioners were made to write a "thought report" every two weeks. -
610 Office of Shouguang City Persecutes Zhang Keliang and his Wife Wang Zhongyun
2006-06-27On February 4th, 2005 610 Office agents went to the home of Zhang Keliang and arrested him and his wife Wang Zhongyun. During an interrogation session, the policemen used torture to force them to confess. The police stripped off all of Mr. Zhang's clothes, handcuffed his hands behind his back, tied up his feet with electric wires and used his winter coat to wrap up his head. Three policemen stepped on Mr. Zhang’s head and back and used high voltage electric batons to shock his whole body. They shocked his throat, nipples and genitals. They poured water on Mr. Zhang’s head and used an electric baton to shock the top of his head. After the couple's stint at the detention centre, not even their friends could recognise them. -
Jinan Prison Authorities Deprived Wang Chenglin's Family Members of the Right to Visit Him
2006-06-27Authorities at Jinan Prison deprived practitioner Wang Chenglin's family members of the right to visit him many times on the pretext of his refusing to be "transformed". Practitioner Wang Chenglin was sentenced to jail for 11 years since he made Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution in 2004. Since then he has been detained at Jinan Prison. Because he refused to give up Dafa, he was subjected to persecution with the "strictest control" by the guards. His family members went to visit him many times, but were denied entrance by the authorities of the prison. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Chongqing, Tianjin, and Heilongjiang Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-06-27Ms. Gao Yunling, a retired employee of the Chongqing Oil Transport Warehouse, began to practise Falun Dafa in 1996. As a result of the practice, all her illnesses disappeared without medical treatment. In October 2005, the local community committee put her under surveillance twenty-four hours a day. She was forced to write the so-called three statements, which brought her huge detriment mentally. She died on February 13th, 2006. -
A Teacher Is Sent to Trial After Explaining the True Situation of Falun Dafa in Class
2006-06-27Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Chihua is a teacher. On March 13th, 2006, he was arrested by police from the County Department, and is now detained in Long'an County Detention Centre. Mr. Lu's family hired a lawyer, but the police will not allow the lawyer visit him, and they have been interfering with the lawyer's work. -
Ms. Wu Hong Tortured to Death in Penglai City, Shandong Province
2006-06-26On May 30th, 2006, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Hong was arrested in her home and locked up in a "Legal Eduction Centre (a brainwashing centre controlled by the 610 Office). On June 6th, 2006, she was sent to Penglai City Hospital for emergency. She died on June 9th, 2006. It is said that Ms. Wu Hong's skull was smashed and fractured. She was in a deep coma before her death, and relied on a breathing machine. Details of her death have yet to be investigated. -
Elderly Ms. Liu Yuanzhen Kidnapped and Brainwashed – Dies After Long Term Persecution by 610 Office
2006-06-26Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuanzhen, 62, was kidnapped after distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and took her to the Lannigou Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was in critical health condition. Given the strong pleas by her family, the 610 Office released her. After she returned home, the police frequently came to her home to harass her, causing her to suffer sever physical and mental injury. Ms. Liu Yuanzhen died due to the severe persecution on May 11th, 2006. -
Ms. Wang Guohua Tortured to Insanity at Heizuizi Prison
2006-06-26On March 25th, 2004, while some practitioners including Ms. Wang Guohua were spreading leaflets exposing the persecution in Dehui City, police arrested them and forced a confession from them by means of torture. On September 14th, 2004, the Court of Dehui City sentenced Ms. Wang Guohua to eight years in the Women’s Prison of Jilin Province. According to the family members of other prisoners, Ms. Wang Guohua has recently been persecuted to the point of insanity. -
Li Huiqi Paralysed and Mentally Unstable from Torture in Shijiazhuang Labour Camp
2006-06-26The Hebei province "610"office along with Shijiazhuang labour camp tortured Li Huiqi during her detention. She is in critical condition. Her whole body is paralysed and she has had a tracheotomy. She has to breathe via a tube and her mind is unclear. During the few moments she is clear, all she can feel is excruciating pain all over. She is in a near vegetative state. On December 3rd, 2002, the labour camp inhumanly put Li Huiqi, whose life was in danger, into a hospital and never cared about her. Her older sister had to take her home to care for her. Li Huiqi has been suffering for 5 years. Her case is clear evidence of the cruelty of Hebei "610" terrorism and Shijiazhuang labour camp.
