Police Chiefs in Shangdong Province Extort Millions of Yuan from Practitioners

Throughout these years of persecution, Xue Lianchun and Chen Yuezhi have led police officers to steal belongings and funds from Falun Dafa practitioners' family members, forcing them to pay fines totalling millions of yuan. They have never given a single receipt for money or items stolen. After the police arrested several practitioners, they extorted two to five thousand yuan from their families before releasing them. Some practitioners' family members were forced to give Chen Yuezhi "Three Gold" (referring to gold rings, gold earrings and gold bracelets), and also hand in 2,000 yuan in fines, without being given any receipts. -

2006-02-17Police at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province attempted to compel a more than six months pregnant woman to renounce her belief in Falun Gong. They made her stand on a stool, and then tied her hands with a thick rope tightly to a horizontal girder and kicked the stool away. She hung in midair 3 metres off the floor. One end of the rope went through a pulley and the police officer held the other end. When he released the rope, the practitioner would fall rapidly to the ground, landing on her buttocks. The expectant mother was thus tortured this way continuously until she had a spontaneous abortion and was in indescribable pain. The police were even more cruel by ordering her husband to stand by and watch his wife being tortured. -
Chinese Police: "I'll Shoot Him Dead"
2006-02-17Mr. Lei Bifu had to leave his home after police illegally searched his house and took away his personal possessions. On January 18th, 2006, Mr. Lei's family members went to the police station to ask for their private possessions. Police officer Chen Zhangsong shouted at them, "You still have the guts to come to us for your stuff? We'll go to your house to pick up Lei during the Chinese New Year. We'll arrest him if he comes back. Don't come here to bother us. If you do it again, we'll take steps against you, too. If Lei dares to come back, I'll shoot him dead." -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinghao
2006-02-17In December 2000, Ms. Wang Jinghao was sent to Balizhuang Women's Forced Labour Camp, located at Baoding. She did not want to give up her cultivation. Team leaders began by tying both her legs with police rope, shocking her with an electric baton, tying her to a wooden board, and forcing her to stand next to the wall for fifteen days. While she was tied to the wooden board, the employees burned her with cigarettes, prohibited her from sleeping at night, slapped her with a leather belt if she closed her eyes, and propped her eyes open with bamboo sticks after slapping her face. They also forced her to squat in the corner and hold her own head while they beat her back with a leather belt. -
Practitioner in Her 70s from Shenyang City Passes Away Due to Repeated Persecution
2006-02-17Ms. Cheng Qingyun was an older Falun Dafa practitioner in her 70s who lived in Shengyang City. She became very healthy after she began practising Falun Dafa. However, she was repeatedly persecuted. She was taken to the police station and tortured. She was brutally beaten by her daughter-in-law, who was poisoned by the lies and threats of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Ms. Cheng passed away in August 2004. Two of her daughters were sentenced to forced labour. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yang Lidong Tortured to Death

35-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Lidong from Jilin Province had been tortured long term in the Jilin Province Labour Camp. Only two weeks after Mr. Yang was locked in the camp the second time, he was tortured until he was paralysed, and could not hold anything with his hands. He died on January 17th 2006, thin as a skeleton. -
Heartbroken during Chinese New Year When Families Celebrate Together

Mudanjiang City Jail authorities, to avoid responsibility for his health condition, took Mr. Pan Xingfu to the Shuanyashan City Infectious Diseases Hospital. By then he weighed 40 kg (approximately 86 lbs). On January 31st, 2005, Mr. Pan Xingfu died, leaving his sixty four-year-old mother, his five-year-old son and his imprisoned wife. -
After a Student in Germany Exposed the Persecution in the Shanghai Labour Camp, His Family in China Was Threatened
2006-02-16Recently a student in Germany, Wang Zhen, publicly exposed the persecution he received in the Shanghai No. 3 Labour Camp because of practising Falun Gong. Afterwards, the 610 Office threatened his family members. The 610 Office could not contradict the article. They were embarrassed and said, "We will not take any action against you for what happened before. However, if Wang Zhen calls home, tell him not to do it anymore." They told the family to inform the 610 Office if Wang Zhen sent a letter home. -
Atrocities of the Public Security Branch at the Huozhou Power Plant and Huozhou Public Security Bureau in Shanxi Province
2006-02-16At about 2 p.m. on May 26th, 2005, policeman Yang Zhaoping illegally intruded into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Bai Heli and deceived him into going to the public security branch. At first, five young, strong policemen pummelled him. Then two policemen took turns slapping him in the face, which caused Bai Heli to spit blood from his mouth, both his ears were ringing, and his head was swollen. After that, several policemen pushed Bai Heli onto a bed, and handcuffed both his hands in a crisscrossed position behind the back. As a result, the handcuffs dug into the skin and blood dripped from his hands. Later, the police used high-voltage electric batons to shock sensitive areas all over his body. -

Li Ping Exposes Persecution Before Her Death

Ms. Li Ping of Dalian City, Liaoning Province was abducted and imprisoned many times for her persistence in practising Falun Gong. She was twice jailed in Dalian Forced Labour Camp and suffered brutal torture. Police and criminals pried Li Ping's mouth open during force-feeding. Several teeth were uprooted. She passed away on November 27th, 2005. -
Police Extort Twenty Thousand Yuan from an Elderly Couple in Yushu City, Jilin Province
2006-02-15"Just as we were feeling extremely fortunate that Falun Dafa had saved my life, the township police arrived at our door. It was March 7th, 2002. They searched the house looking for Falun Dafa books and DVDs. I was taken to Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp. The year of illegal detention cost my family more than 7,800 yuan. Later I was detained again. This time, my husband figured out a way to pay someone 11,600 yuan and bailed me out. The two detentions combined cost us 19,400 yuan, all of which my husband had to borrow." -
The Persecution Suffered by Two Practitioners Before They Died
2006-02-1557-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Su Caixia was held in detention and persecuted and brainwashed several times. The authorities began to follow her, stopped paying her husband's salary and threatened to fire her son from his job. She was forced to become destitute and homeless because she wanted to practise Falun Gong without being arrested. After three months of going from place to place, her health started to deteriorate and she was arrested again. The police also threatened her family, kept a close surveillance on her and stopped her from practising Falun Dafa. She died in mid-August of 2004. -
Details of the Criminal Behaviour of Fu Jinbin, Head of the Weifang City 610 Office Brainwashing Centre
2006-02-14Since April 2003, Fu Jinbin, 47 years old has been the head of the Brainwashing Centre of the Weifang City 610 Office. Fu has two nicknames: "the Head of the Bandits" and "the Demon of Lust." Fu took advantage of the opportunity to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners through brainwashing to ruthlessly extort money and property from them. Even worse, he used his position of power to commit indecent acts towards female practitioners. -
Practitioner Ren Xingde Has Been Tortured For Eleven Months
2006-02-14One day in March 2005 someone reported Mr. and Mrs. Ren Xingde to the authorities while they were posting leaflets exposing the persecution. Police officers arrested both of them. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ren were hung by their arms when they refused to reveal their source, Mr. Ren for seven days and nights and his wife for one full day. After extorting 3000 yuan from the couple, the station released Mrs. Ren. Due to his refusal to reveal the source of the materials, the 610 Office has been interrogating and torturing Mr. Ren every day for over 11 months.
