Mr. Cheng Huazheng's Life in Danger in Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province

In order to "transform" Falun Dafa practitioners, the guards in the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp torture them inhumanly by forcing them to do things such as stand without clothes in the winter, run great distances while wearing heavy coats in the summer, or stand for days on end when deprived of the right to sleep. They have also done things like pouring icy cold water on them in the winter, burning their faces by pouring boiling water over them, beating them brutally, and forcing them to sniff heroin. The guards openly said, "It is nothing to kill several, we have a quota of practitioners we are allowed to kill." Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cheng Huazheng's life is in danger due to torture he suffered. -
Endless Nightmare: My Experience at the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-05-28I was abducted by local authorities in 2001 because I had been distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. I was later imprisoned in the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp for a year and a half. Whenever I recall those days at the labour camp, it's as if reliving a nightmare for me. More than twenty of us were locked in one room of thirteen or fourteen square metres. It was the same room in which we made disposable chopsticks during the day, for one-time use at restaurants. The guards set heavy workloads for everyone, so those who were elderly or slower than others would have to work until three o'clock in the morning. The guards also ordered drug addict inmates to torture Dafa practitioners. Some inmates tore at practitioner's mouths until they bled, others stuck wooden sticks into practitioners' private parts. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Quanlian from Chenzhou City, Hunan, Kidnapped
2007-05-28On April 12th, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wang Quanlian was kidnapped at midnight from a room in Zhuzhou city by the National Security Team of Shifeng District Police Station, Zhuzhou City. Without any legitimate reason or legal proceedings, he was imprisoned in the Zhuzhou Second Prison. Mr. Wang was once sentenced to three-years imprisonment secretly by the 610 Office. At present, no one outside China knows his current situation. We only know that Mr. Wang's health is very bad. His family members are extremely worried. -
Older Chongqing Practitioner Ms. Wei Hua Died as a Result of Persecution in a Mental Hospital

On October 18th, 2005, 57-year-old practitioner Ms. Wei Hua was healthy both in body and mind, but local officials sent her to a mental hospital anyway. On November 25th, the mental hospital suddenly issued a "imminent death notice." Ms. Wei was paralysed and mentally traumatised, requiring others' care. After suffering in pain for more than a year, she died on April 30th, 2007. -
Practitioners Ai Guifeng and Li Lanqin from Nehe City, Heilongjiang Province, Arrested and Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labour
2007-05-27In Nehe City, Heilongjiang Province, Fu Libin, head of the 610 Office, led almost ten police officers to arrest practitioners Ms. Ai Guifeng, Ms. Li Lanqin, and six others. The practitioners were at work at the City People's Hospital at the time. The police also ransacked their homes. The 610 Office agents held the practitioners in the Molidawa Detention Centre in Inner Mongolia. They interrogated them for 24 hours every day for 10 days without letting them sleep. They also tortured the practitioners for 10 days in an attempt to make them talk. -
Follow up Report on Ms. Zhang Lianying, Who Was Beaten and Injured in Tiantanghe, Beijing's Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-05-27Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Lianying is from the Chaoyang District. She is currently detained in Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Zhang was brutally beaten on March 27th, 2007. She sustained many severe injuries to her head and body. She passed out and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Ms. Zhang's husband, Niu Jinping, is also a practitioner. Mr. Niu has gone to the labour camp many times with their three-year-old daughter. He requested to visit his injured wife and to have her bailed out for medical treatment. The Camp Administration has tried many different tactics to send Mr. Niu away. They've even threatened to forbid him from visiting his wife if he brings up such a request. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Lianshu from Hebei Province Persecuted and Forced Into Homelessness
2007-05-27Because of her belief in Falun Dafa, Ms. Li Lianshu was relentlessly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In 2001, Ms. Li Lianshu was arrested by police for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. At the station, the police brutally beat her ankle with a wooden bat for about ten minutes and slapped her face numerous times while pulling her hair. Then they used electric batons to hit her legs and back. More persecution followed over the years. She was eventually forced into homelessness to avoid further persecution. -
Mr. Li Wenzhi from Jilin Province Tortured, Sent to Forced Labour Camp for Teaching His Son To Practise Falun Gong
2007-05-26On April 18th, the police in Wangqing County, Jilin Province, arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Le Wenzhi. He was brutally tortured and his house was searched and property confiscated. The police used the excuse that they had found Falun Gong informational materials, and that Li Wenzhi had taught his son to practise Falun Gong. They then attempted to sentence Le Wenzhi to one and a half years in a forced labour camp. -
Four Elderly Practitioners from Shandong, Guangdong Provinces and Beijing Persecuted to Death
2007-05-26In October 2003, practitioner Zhang Shitong was detained in the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labour Camp in Beijing by the Forced Labour Management Committee of Beijing. She was seventy-one-years-old at the time. However, she was forced to do manual labour for long periods of time by camp policewomen Chen Li and Guo Kaiyang. After her lung disease relapsed, the camp refused to release her. Ms. Zhang's lung disease deteriorated into late-stage lung cancer, yet the camp authorities still would not release her for another 3 months. After Zhang Shitong was finally released, she passed away after two months. -
Practitioner Wang Huizhong Persecuted and Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison
2007-05-26In October 2000, Wang Huizhong, a villager in his 50s, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. There, police officers arrested him and transported him back to the Wuwei City Detention Centre for a three-month imprisonment term. In May 2002, while Wang Huizhong was informing people about the true nature of Falun Gong, he was reported to the police, arrested and sentenced to an eight-year term in prison. Mr. Wang was confined in Lanzhou Prison for three months. Later he was transferred back to Wuwei Prison. In November 2005, he was transferred to Jiuquan Forced Labour Camp, where he has been subjected to even more vicious treatment. -
Dr. Li Aijun, Physician at a Beijing Hospital, Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison
2007-05-26In 2002, Dr. Li Aijun, a physician at Xiyuan Hospital in Beijing, was sentenced to nine years in prison for practising Falun Dafa. She has already served five years in the Tiantanghe Women's Prison in Beijing. Since her imprisonment, Dr. Li has been unable to care for her elderly parents or her son, a high school student. Her husband works hard every day, but he has no one to look after him. Dr. Li's heavy prison sentence has brought severe emotional trauma as well as economic loss to her family. The guards at the Beijing Women's Prison often beat practitioners with impunity. -
Practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai in Serious Condition - His Family Not Allowed to Visit
2007-05-25Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai was arrested on April 10th, 2007, and detained in Yingkou City Prison. His family went to visit him on April 12th and April 25th, but they were not allowed to see him because prison officials claimed, "he was not feeling guilty enough." On May 7th, 2007, his family went to visit him for the third time, but they were refused again. They learned that Mr. Xue had vomited blood on April 14th and his condition was so poor that the doctor could not do an endoscopy to exam the source of his problem. The doctor found he had a duodenal ulcer and his stomach was bleeding. He is still being given medication and cannot eat normally. He is detained in the patient ward. -
Hong Kong Practitioner Ms. Zeng Aihua Suddenly Develops Severe Hypertension in Shanghai Women's Prison
2007-05-25According to a recent message, Hong Kong Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zeng Aihua suddenly developed symptoms of severe hypertension (high blood pressure) a week after she was sent to Shanghai Women's Prison. In February 2007, Ms. Zeng was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. In March 2007, her appeal was rejected at a second trial. On April 16th, 2007, she was sent to Shanghai Women's Prison. Shanghai Women's Prison did not inform Ms. Zeng's family of her situation. Between April 16th and May 15th, her family called the prison several times and enquired about when they could visit her. The prison guards always said that it would depend on whether Ms. Zeng showed regret for practising Falun Gong, but they never mentioned her health. -
Mother Sues Chinese Communist Party (CCP) National Security Group for Detaining Her Daughter
2007-05-25My daughter, Wang Liqiu, hasn't been home since she went out at around 4:00 p.m. on February 13th, 2007. Our family searched for her everywhere. On March 14th the family learned that Wang Liqiu had been taken to a police canine training base in Chuanying District, Jilin City on February 13th. In a secret torture room the officers had poured eight cups of a water and mustard mixture into her nose. They filled her nose until the liquid was coming out of her mouth, and Wang Liqiu blacked out several times. Di Shigang and the others threw cold water on her to wake her, and then resumed pouring the mustard water into her nose. We request that the People's Procuratorate process this case according to the law and immediately release Wang Liqiu. -
Arrests of 6 Practitioners in Weifang, Shandong Province
2007-05-25Between April 7th and 18th, 2007, six Falun Gong practitioners were arrested by Li Shenghua, Li Zhixin, and other police officers. Currently, Ms. Tian is free as she managed to escape. Mr. Dai, Mr. Li, and Ms. Shi are still imprisoned and being persecuted. After Ms. Xu and Ms. Li were arrested by police officers Jing Zhi, Li Zhixin and others, they were taken to Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp and sentenced to one-and-a-half years of forced labour.
