Women's Prison in Shandong Province Uses Unknown Drugs on Practitioner Meng Lijun

Ms. Meng Lijun suffered all sorts of torture at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), because she practised Falun Dafa. In 1999, in a detention centre, police handcuffed one of her hands and hung her from some metal wiring, leaving her feet barely touching the ground. She was hung like that for three or four hours. Her face, hands, and feet all changed colour. One young policeman came and put a charge of electricity into the metal wiring from the electric baton he held. When Ms. Meng was taken down, she couldn't stand and felt nauseas. Over the years Ms. Meng was arrested many times and in 2005 she was sent to prison. Police put unknown drugs into her food and water. She had swelling all over her body and suffered from amnesia. -
Ms. Ma Youjuan Is Detained, Her Non-Practitioner Father Sent to a Forced Labour Camp
2007-05-18On October 15th, 2006, after being homeless for over four years, practitioners Ma Youjuan and Yu Kejun were arrested. In the evening of the same day, their eight-year-old daughter was also taken to the West City Police Station and detained there. The following day, Ma Youjuan's father, Ma Yiqing, took the child home. One month later, Yu Kejun was sent to a forced labour camp for a year, while Ma Youjuan has been detained at the Weifang City Detention Centre to this day. Because Ma Yiqing, who is a non-practitioner, went to the police to appeal for the release of his daughter, he was arrested and sent to the Changle Forced Labour Camp for a one year term. -
Ms. Li Huiqi from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province Dies Five Years after Being Paralysed by Torture at the Shijiazhuang Labour Camp

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Huiqi was paralysed in 2002 from torture at the Shijiazhuang Labour Camp. She became a quadriplegic [whole-body paralysis] and was in a coma. Her trachea was cut so she could only breathe through a tube. Her husband divorced her after being unable to bear seeing her suffer. Li Huiqi died on April 27th, 2007, at the age of 40 after enduring five years of excruciating pain. -
Four Canadian Residents' Family Members Persecuted in China
2007-05-17Shen Yue, a Chinese student in Montreal recounted the experience of his mother: "My mother was sentenced to prison and incarcerated between 2000 and 2001. She was held in labour camp(s) many times after the persecution began in 1999. The situation was terrible. My mother told me, 'Someone stopped me in the street and asked if I practised Falun Gong. I answered yes and was put in a car.' No explanation was given. Shen Yue said his mother was savagely tortured. "When my mother was released from the custody centre I saw blood all over her toenails. She had not completely recovered from her injuries. She told me the practitioners were forced to walk around the drill ground wearing 11-pound shackles." -
The Party Persecutes My Father, Calligrapher Gao Zongzhen, and My Entire Family
2007-05-17At school, because of lies propagated by the CCP, teachers and students were all very harsh to me, saying that I was the daughter of a Falun Gong practitioner. In order to realise personal political gain, many vicious policemen often came to my home to harass us. They used both "harsh and soft" methods to try to manipulate my mother to help them persuade my father to give up his belief in "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance." They threatened my mother by saying, "Gao Zongzhen (my father) has practised Falun Gong. It will become very difficult for your entire family to find any jobs in the future. Your children won't be able to go to school or find a job either. If you can ask Gao Zongzhen to give up Falun Gong, we will ensure his job in the future; and the family won't be effected, either." -
Mr. Zheng Zhicheng Arrested for the Third Time Along with His Wife, Ms. Cheng Chao
2007-05-17On April 14th, 2007, police arrested Mr. Zheng Zhicheng and Ms. Cheng Chao. Zheng Zhicheng had already been imprisoned in Hehuakeng Forced Labour Camp for three years. The guards there are brutal in their efforts to "reform" practitioners. One of their methods is "Stool Sitting." Every day, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. they force practitioners to sit on a 10-cm (4-inch) wide and 20-cm (8-inch) tall stool. Everyone has to sit still; no one is allowed to use the toilet or eat outside the fixed schedule. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are ten minutes each. Each person is entitled to use the toilet twice a day for five minutes, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. During their many days of "Stool Sitting" the practitioners are forbidden to change clothes, brush their teeth, or wash. Some get lice. -
More Information About the Death of Practitioner Ms. Liu Juhua from Yuping County, Guizhou Province
2007-05-16Officers from the Yuping County Police Department in Tongren Prefecture, Guizhou Province and the Dalong Police Station of Dalong Township conducted a joint arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners in late 2006. Police entered practitioner Ms. Liu Juhua's home, ransacked it and arrested her. The police brought Ms. Liu Juhua to the detention centre, where they interrogated and tortured her until she died. The following morning, officials Peng Changping and Yang Bo notified Ms. Liu's family and lied to them, saying that Liu Juhua had committed suicide by jumping from a tall building. They threatened the family members and told them to cremate the remains and not to make it public. -
Guard Tied Ms. Cui Huanying to a "Death Bed" and Whipped Her Across the Eyes with a Saw Blade at the Brainwashing Centre in Wangdu County, Baoding City, Hebei Province
2007-05-16On January 3rd, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cui Huanying was taken to the brainwashing centre in Wangdu County. When she did not follow the authorities' orders, she was barbarically force-fed, beaten, and whipped with a saw blade across her eyes. She has lost sight in her left eye. the guards tied up Ms. Cui on a "Death Bed", pulled her arms straight, and tied them to wooden clubs in the shape of a cross. Both of her arms became disabled. She can no longer take care of herself. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Lingzhi Details Torture by Policeman Feng Jitang in Letter to Procurator
2007-05-16"I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Because I posted flyers that informed people about the persecution, I was arrested on February 9th. I was taken to Daobei Police Station. In about 20 minutes, Feng Jitang appeared. Before he said anything, he kicked me in my back. He handcuffed me to a bedpost, cursed me and took one of his leather shoes and hit my head and ears like a madman. He also said, "I am going to beat you to death today!" He beat me so hard that he broke two clubs. He got another one and continued beating me. I cried out from the severe pain. I am suing Feng Jitang for the excruciatingly painful torture he used on me. -
Three Falun Gong Practitioners in Beijing, Weifang, and Zhuanghe Cities Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-05-1690-year-old Mr. Wang Zhenhe, 90, lived in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province. His daughter was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. Mr. Wang's son was imprisoned in late December 2006. Mr. Wang had to cope with the persecutory acts of the Chinese Communist Party for a long time. Wang Zhenhe suffered many cruel blows. Starting on January 11th, 2007, he constantly called out his children's names for three days and three nights. On January 13th, he passed away. -
Police From the Fengtai District 610 Office in Beijing Arrest Liu Yonghui, His Wife and His Mother
2007-05-16On April 24th, 2007, policemen arrested Mr. Liu Yonghui and his wife, Ms. Zhai Huiling, while he was working. At around 2:00 p.m. on April 24th, a group of police officers took Mr. Liu to his home. His mother, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Tiezhen, refused to open the door, so the officers broke in and ransacked his home. Afterwards, they took him away. His mother, and his mother-in-law, who lives in another city and had come to visit them, and his and his wife's baby, who is less than two years old were left at home. Two days later on April 26th, the police returned to arrest Ms. Yang Tiezhen. -
Police Officers Beat Mr. Sun Zhonglin to Death When He Appealed for Justice on Behalf of His Wife, Their Sons Sentenced to Forced Labour for Protesting the Injustice
2007-05-15On November 7th, 2004 Mr. Sun Zhonglin, husband to practitioner Ms. Wu Yuqin, went to the Qianshan Police Division looking for his wife who had been arrested. The police of the Qianshan Police Division several policemen started beating Mr. Sun, and eventually killed him. They left a big hole in Mr. Sun's head and numerous electrical burns all over his body. Their two sons were sentenced to forced labour because they appealed for justice on behalf of their parents. -
Ms. Zhou Zi Has Been on Hunger Strike for Two Months to Protest the Torture of Practitioners at Beijing Women's Prison
2007-05-15Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Zi is detained in the Beijing Women's Prison. She has been on a hunger strike for 73 days, from February 26th to May 9th, 2007, to protest the guards' torturing the detained Falun Dafa practitioners. Ms. Zhou protested against Warden Zheng Yumei (female), who beat practitioners at will. Guards in Beijing Women's Prison violate the law and torture Falun Dafa practitioners at will. They do not allow practitioners any basic human rights. -
The Hidden Brutality at Weining Forced Labour Camp in Benxi, Liaoning Province
2007-05-15Weining Forced Labour Camp in Benxi City is a place where the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) dictatorship carries out its brutal policies. Every newly arrived practitioner is "cared for" by the guards upon arrival, who pretend to be kind and warm. They constantly air videos that slander Falun Gong and praise the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Two "brainwashing" personnel watch the practitioner all the time, even when he goes to the toilet. If these methods don't work, they will threaten him. "If you don't change your mind, we will transfer you to Dabei Prison." If none of these tactics work, then they will act more brutally. They prohibit practitioners from sleeping and send the practitioners to the "severe treatment team" and put them on a "dead person's bed" to stretch their limbs. A healthy person can be damaged to the point of a mental breakdown from this treatment. -
Mr. Li Hongwei Gravely Ill Due to Persecution in Shenxin Forced Labour Camp, Shenyang City
2007-05-15October, 2006, police broke into practitioner Wang Yanjie's home. They arrested her and her guests, Mr. Li Hongwei, Mr. Shi Geng, and Mr. Li Yang. Mr. Li Hongwei is being persecuted severely in the Shenxin Forced Labour Camp, and he is currently suffering from appendicitis and is in a state of hyperthermia. Still, the labour camp refuses to release him. After police broke into Ms. Wang's home, they kicked and punched Ms. Wang and the other practitioners, then arrested them.
