For Spreading the News of Their Mother's Unjust Death, Two Brothers Suffer Brutal Persecution

Mr Xing Defu was arrested by the Jidong Public Security Bureau in 2004 while informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong and that his mother had been tortured to death at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Policemen brutally beat him many times. They used a plastic tube about one inch in diameter filled with concrete to beat him. Around April 11th, 2005, all of the practitioners held there performed Dafa exercises together. They were brutally beaten by the police for this peaceful display of courage. They later began a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The police knocked out all of Xing Defu's teeth. -
Facts about the Persecution of Three Falun Gong Practitioners in Tuanjie Township of Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-04-16Mr. Zou Guoyan, 53, was arrested on Tiananmen Square when appealing for justice for Dafa. In the detention centre, the police chose those most vicious criminals to ruthlessly persecute and forcibly “transform” Mr. Zou Guoyan. Whoever persecuted Mr. Zou most cruelly would receive a reduction in their detention time. One time, the criminals held Mr. Zou Guoyan's five fingers together tightly and then inserted a toothbrush between his fingers and viciously twisted it around. Very quickly the skin on Mr. Zou's hands was lacerated and his muscle were exposed and blood flowed. The criminals still continued twisting the toothbrush. Mr. Zou felt such sharp pain that it seemed to gouge his heart and penetrate to his bones. The bones of his fingers were exposed and a large amount of blood flowed out. Mr. Zou let out several cries of pain and then lost consciousness. -
Open Letter to the People of Laizhou City, Shandong Province to Pay Attention to the Persecution
2007-04-16On January 24th, 2007, “610 Office” officials arrested 23 local Falun Dafa practitioners. Han Fangxi and his wife are still being held in Laizhou Detention Centre. There is no one to look after their child at home, and nobody to take care of their orchard. Someone stole 200 to 250 kg of their apples. Someone even entered their house to steal, with the child not aware of what was missing. 5 or 6 big trees from their orchard have gone missing. Their relatives and child went to the “610 Office” to ask for their release, but they were denied. They didn't let the couple go back to check their home, and didn't even allow them to see their child and relatives. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhang Lanying, Li Gendi, and Feng Rongxia from Shanghai are Still in Detention After Many Months
2007-04-16Early in June 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yaojin was arrested. Chen Yaojin had to take care of her mentally-challenged daughter. When the incident was exposed, the local residents were very angry. Late in June, Chen Yaojin was released. On July 5th, the 610 Office of Zhabei District and the Integrated Office of the Pengpuxincun Neighbourhood arrested Chen Yaojin and took her to the Songjian brainwashing centre “awaiting trial.” She was forced to endure brainwashing for two months. Her daughter had to be sent to an orphanage again. -
Purchasing Agent from Qiqihar Chinese Medicine Hospital (Heilongjiang Province) Killed at Tailai Prison
2007-04-15On February 8th, 2007, Mr Liu Jingming was detained at Tailai Prison. It took guards at Tailai Prison only 46 days to torture 39 year-old Mr. Liu to death. At 7 p.m. on March 24th, 2007, guard Ji Hengtai of the Training Unit at Tailai Prison phoned Liu Jingming's home. He claimed that Mr. Liu died after "jumping out of the window of the building" at 1:40 a.m. on March 24. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has used this excuse for almost eight years when murdering practitioners. When the family members, with eyes filled with tears saw Mr. Liu Jingming's body, they were shocked. The body was horribly mangled. The right side of the head was caved in. The face and entire body was horribly damaged. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yang Zhiwen from Anshan City, Liaoning Province Sentenced to Labour Camp Twice and Passes Away Due to the Persecution
2007-04-15Over the last several years, Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Zhiwen was constantly arrested, beaten, detained and sentenced to labour camps by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He was once forced to leave home and became destitute and homeless in order to avoid persecution and arrest. The long-term brutal persecution wrecked Mr. Yang's health, and he passed away on October 20th, 2006. He was fifty-four years old. -
Jilin Province Prison Management Bureau's Central Hospital Uses "Inmate Care" to Torture Prisoners
2007-04-15Since 2000, the Central Hospital of Jilin Province's Prison Management Bureau has instigated the "inmate care" personnel to commit horrendous crimes against prisoners in need of medical attention and Falun Gong practitioners. The "inmate care" personnel were very quick in understanding the intentions of the camp guards, prison doctors and nurses. Towards those inmates they did not like, they would inject the entire length of the syringe needle into the buttocks. They also competed with each other for the fun of injecting inmates in various ways to inflict pain. Sometimes they would repeat intravenous injections back and forth several times although the injection was successful on the first try. Sometimes they would first bang the needle against the wall and then inject it into the patients' buttocks. This way the needle tip became crooked and would pull out flesh when it was withdrawn. -
Several Practitioners from Jilin, Shandong, Heilongjiang Provinces Died as a Result of Persecution
2007-04-15Ms. Chen Yongjing, a Falun Dafa practitioner was arrested in December 2000. At the age of twenty, she was tortured by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials. There, Chen Yongjing was physically punished by standing for long periods barefoot on the concrete floor, and she was not allowed to sleep. Staff beat and abused her the whole day. One time Chen Yongjing was beaten so hard that she could not stand up. She was terrified and emaciated. She passed away on February 11th, 2007. She was only twenty six years old. -
Middle School Teacher Mr. Chen Qiji Tortured to Death in Shayang Prison in Hubei Province
2007-04-14Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Qiji was a middle school teacher in Jinmen City, Hubei Province. Because he firmly held onto his faith and publicly spoke the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution, he was sentenced to ten years in Shayang Prison. During his detention in Shayang Prison, Mr. Chen Qiji solidly kept his faith. As punishment, he endured numerous kinds of cruel torture until his life was in danger. He was brutally tortured and died in April 2007. -
Ms. Shi Xizhi Died from Torture in the Second Women's Prison of Yunnan Province
2007-04-14When I was detained in the Second Women's Prison of Yunnan Province, Chinese Communist Party (CCP)officials started to send Falun Dafa practitioners to the intensive training ward. Every practitioner was monitored by two inmates, and each practitioner's every word and action was watched. For the most resolute practitioners, the torture was even more brutal. Ms. Shi Xizhi died from drug overdoses. She had high blood pressure, so the guards purposely gave her drugs that were harmful to her blood pressure, which resulted in her death on March 17th, 2005. -
Practitioner Mr. Ding Guoying Mentally Traumatised as a Result of Persecution, Xinmi Prison in Henan Province Still Will Not Release Him
2007-04-14Mr. Ding Guoying, in his thirties, was an elementary school teacher. One day when he was explaining the meaning of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" in his class, he was arrested and taken to a detention centre by the Gaocun Police Station. Five months later, he was sentenced without trial to seven years in prison, and his family members were not even notified. He was taken to the Xinmi Prison to be further persecuted. His mother hurried to the Xinmi Prison to visit her son. It was chilly winter weather, and Guoying only wore a shirt. He did not say a word when he met his family, as if he was meeting strangers. -
Over 260 Falun Gong Practitioners Imprisoned at Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2007-04-14Guard Luo Guangrong, 42-year-old, is an instructor of Division Eight and also one of the most vicious guards. He often roars in meetings, saying that others must do whatever he has told them to do, even if the thing he was demanding was wrong. He often handcuffs Falun Gong practitioners to the toilet window and doesn't allow them to sleep. Sometimes, he punishes practitioners by making them sit in the hallway, facing the wall, until midnight after a long day of labour. -
Ms. Yu Xianna Suffers Brutal Persecution in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-04-13In February 2006, practitioner Ms. Yu Xianna was tied up and tortured after refusing to write the "three statements" at the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Team leader Guo Qiuli tied Ms. Yu's hands behind her back with ropes. Then she was hung up by the rope on a metal bar in the storage room with both legs approximately half a metre above the ground. On the night of February 9th, Ms. Yu declared all her so-called "comments and opinions," spoken or written, to be null and void. As a result, guard Cong Zhili called her to the office and beat her up brutally. Cong used her fists to thump Ms. Yu's head; Yu's vision immediately blurred and she almost fainted. Cong then beat Ms. Yu's face using her hands. Cong's hands were numb, painful, and shaking uncontrollably when she finally stopped the beating. Then she forced Ms. Yu to stand and did not allow her to sleep. -
Saved by Calling Out "Falun Dafa Is Great" after a Car Accident, Mr. Jin Xinnian Is Arrested by Investigating Officers for Telling the Truth
2007-04-13On December 21st, 2006, around 4:00 a.m., Mr. Jin Xinnian was driving. It was foggy and the road was icy and slippery. On a right turn, he lost control of the car and slipped into a seven to eight metre deep pond that was used to hold industrial wastewater. Two tyres burst after the car fell into the pond. All the passengers (including Mr. Jin) fell into the pond. Two of them were injured and one passed out. At this perilous moment, Mr. Jin thought of Falun Dafa. Together with the other workers, he shouted "Falun Dafa is great!" While they were shouting, the wrecked car door opened. When the traffic police investigated the accident, they asked how the workers were able to open such a damaged car door. Mr. Jin told the police, "When I said 'Falun Dafa is great,' the door opened by itself." Because of this, the traffic police reported Mr. Jin and he was arrested. -
Ms. Liang Xianglian and Ms. Zhou Meihua Sent to Yaojia Detention Centre in Dalian City, Liaoning Province
2007-04-13On the afternoon of March 20th, 2007, Ms. Liang Xianglian and Ms. Zhou Meihua were posting self-adhesive leaflets exposing the persecution on walls. They were followed and arrested by patrolling officers dedicated to the suppression of Falun Gong practitioners and sent to Yaojia Criminal Detention Centre. The Yaojia Detention Centre is known for its cruelty in persecuting practitioners. The police also ransacked Ms. Liang Xianglian's home and confiscated a personal computer and Falun Dafa materials.
