  • Sweden: Anti-Torture Exhibition at the Parliament Building

    On September the 21st, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition at the Swedish Parliament Building, calling on the government and people to be concerned about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and give support to the lawsuit which will be brought against Jiang Zemin and others for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Czech Republic: The First Anti-Torture Exhibition in the Czech Republic Deeply Touched the Hearts of Brno Citizens

    On the 8th of September, practitioners from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the UK met in the city of Brno to let people know about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. An anti-torture exhibition demonstrated the contrast between Falun Dafa’s peaceful exercises and the appalling methods used to torture practitioners in China.
  • Germany: Munich Falun Dafa Practitioners Gather in Front of the Chinese Consulate, Appealing for Jiang Zemin to be Brought to Justice

    On September 19th, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich and Bavaria gathered in front of the Chinese consulate to protest against China’s persecution of Falun Gong and to appeal for Jiang Zemin to be brought to Justice. Jiang’s group started the brutal persecution and suppression of Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999.
  • Slovakia: Mayors from many Cities Condemn the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    Practitioners of Falun Gong recently wrote Mayors of many cities in Slovakia, explaining to them the reasons behind the persecution of Falun Gong in China, the number of victims of this persecution and cruel methods they use to torture practitioners of Falun Gong in China. Many mayors and people in local administrations reacted by signing our petition against persecution of Falun Gong in China.
  • United Kingdom: A Film about Falun Gong is Shown During the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival

    The annual International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival was held from the 17th to the 20th of September 2004, at the biggest cinema in Glasgow, Scotland. Seventy films about human rights problems from different countries and nations participated in this festival. Among them, a film revealing the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by Jiang’s regime was also shown. It left a profound impression on the audience.
  • Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution in Five Cities

    On September 4th, practitioners in five German cities held Information Days. Some new practitioners who have not finished reading Zhuan Falun for the first time also came out to hand out leaflets and let people know the truth. On the day, there were also several passersby wanting to learn the practise.
  • Falun Gong Practitioners in Sweden Prepare Legal Proceedings Against Jiang Zemin and his Cohorts

    "Falun Gong practitioners in China have no way to make their voice heard. By bringing Jiang Zemin to court in Sweden, a democratic country with a legal system, we hope to make their voices heard...So many people have died, so many lives have been ruined, so much suffering and injustice has been suffered! The perpetrators can never repay what they have done, but we want them to at least know what they did was wrong."
  • France: Introducing Falun Gong in Bourgogne Over Two Days

    Lots of people wanted to sign our petition and nobody refused our leaflets. They did not know Falun Gong, but news on violations of human rights in China is nothing new to them. We felt deeply that it was very important to explain the facts about the brutal persecution initiated by Jiang and his regime against Falun Gong practitioners over the past few years.
  • Belgium: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in a Health Expo in Antwerp

    On the 18th and 19th of September, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in a Health Expo held in the seaside town of Antwerp. About once every hour we demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on an exhibition platform and the beautiful exercise music echoed around the whole hall. During the two days of the Health Expo, lots of people with predestined relationships got to find out more about Falun Dafa.
  • Germany: A Day Spent Introducing Falun Gong in Henningsdorf

    A small group of practitioners from Berlin decided to organise a weekly information day in one of Berlin’s districts or suburbs to let the people there know more about Falun Gong and raise awareness of the brutal persecution against practitioners of the spiritual movement in China. Many passer-bys showed great interest and were happy to stand and chat with practitioners.
  • Danish Version of the Book "Falun Gong" is Published

    After careful translation by Danish practitioners, the Danish version of Falun Gong [the introductory book of Falun Dafa] is now published in book form and is being sold in Danish bookshops. This is good news for the Danish citizens and provides a good opportunity for more Danish people who want to practise Falun Gong.
  • Report by Spain Europa Press: Jia Qinglin Is Sued in Spain

    On the 2nd of September, at the Spanish National Court in Madrid, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against the People’s Political Consultative Conference Chairman of China Jia Qinglin. Jia arrived in Spain on September 3rd on an official four day visit. He has been indicted for crimes of genocide and torture of Falun Gong practitioners while he was the Communist Party Secretary General of Beijing between 1999 and 2002.
  • Radio France Internationale:The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice

    Immediately after hearing the news of Jiang Zemin’s retirement from the post of Chairman of China’s Central Military Committee, The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice promptly released a statement. The statement declared thet he age of Jiang Zemin’s reign has ended, and that the age of suing Jiang Zemin has begun.The announcement also says that Jiang Zemin’s culpability will not end because of Jiang Zemin’s resignation.
  • United Kingdom: Anti-Torture Exhibition at a Political Party Conference in Bournemouth Exposes the Brutality of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    On the 21st and 22nd of September, Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition outside the Liberal Democrat Party Conference. Practitioners demonstrated the peaceful Falun Gong exercises, gathered signatures for our petition to 'Bring Jiang to Justice', and talked at length with conference delegates and members of the public.
  • Norway: People Learn More About the Persecution of Falun Gong at the Oslo Autumn Festival

    Saturday was the day of the annual Oslo Autumn Festival, so it was likely that there would be a lot of people in the city this weekend. The weekend was also the start of a Chinese cultural festival, a week-long celebration of Chinese culture and fifty years of relations between Norway and the Peoples Republic of China.
