Dafa Practitioner Ms. Su Juzhen from Liaoning Province Suffers a Mental Breakdown from Torture

Dafa practitioner Ms. Su Juzhen, in her 40s, lives in Huludao City, Liaoning Province. Before the persecution began, Su Juzhen was well known for her selflessness and kindness. She was awarded with the distinction "Outstanding Self-employed Businessperson" several times. However, such a kindhearted person has now been tortured to the point of suffering a mental breakdown because she refused to give up her belief in the principles of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." She is still not able to speak or think normally. Her husband sits home with her all day. -
Over 70 Sichuan Province Teachers Dismissed from Their Jobs Because They Practise Falun Dafa
2004-06-06In 2003 over 70 teachers, who admitted to being Falun Dafa practitioners were dismissed from their jobs in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province. During the second term in 2003, the "610 Office" threatened the teachers with "suspension or dismissal from their posts" and forced the 70 teachers who practise Falun Dafa to attend a government brainwashing programme. They were told that they could not return to teaching until they completed the brainwashing programme and renounced their belief in Falun Dafa. The teachers all possess excellent academic credentials and teaching skills. -
The Persecution of Female Falun Gong Practitioners Reflects the Moral Depravity of Jiang and His Accomplices

During the past five years, Jiang Zemin and his political group's genocidal persecution of Falun Gong has been especially shocking as it has been applied to female practitioners. The torture and degradation inflicted upon female practitioners is a crime of state terrorism. It symbolises the Jiang group's complete moral deterioration. This has brought profound harm to the Chinese people. -
Falun Dafa Turns a Bully into a Kind Man but Jiang's Regime then Imprisons Him
2004-06-06Many people in Yupin County of Guizhou Province know Mr. Zhao Youde. The changes he showed after beginning Falun Dafa practice are so touching that the officers in the police station also admire him. When Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong, Zhao Youde was illegally arrested and has been cruelly persecuted by Jiang's regime. He was locked up and told he would be detained for eight years. Zhao Youde's parents died one after the other, grieving over such wrongs, and having nowhere to appeal for their son's innocence. -
Practitioner Zeng Lingxiu from Sichuan Province Beaten to Death by Police
2004-06-0560 year old Dafa practitioner Ms. Zeng Lingxiu,, was a farmer from Sichuan Province. At around 5:00 a.m. on March 17, 2004, she was beaten to death on the road close to her home by some police who had been monitoring her activities. When her son learned of this, it was already past 8:00 in the morning. Zeng's body had already been taken to the crematory. When her son arrived there, he wasn't able to recognize his mother from her appearance. He could only tell it was his mother from the clothes. One hand and one foot were broken due to the beating. The police claimed that she died of a car accident. However, witnesses, who happened to pass by the scene of the beating, said that the police dragged her feet and pulled her along the road. The scene was too horrible to watch. -
Daqing Practitioner Mr. Wang Chuanping Tortured to Death
2004-06-05Mr. Wang Chuanping, 53, was a laid off worker from the Third Oil Extraction Factory in Heilongjiang Province. He was unjustly detained several times for appealing for the end of the persecution of Falun Gong. In June 2001 he was sentenced to 8 years in prison and jailed in Shaoxing Prison, where he was brutally tortured. As a result, he developed liver problems and had swelling all over his body. The police didn't release him until he was in grave danger. He passed away at the end of April 2004. -
Family Decimated by Persecution: Husband and Wife Tortured to Death, Mother Detained, Father Dies of Grief
2004-06-05In the past several years, simply because of practising Falun Gong and telling the truth, Zhao Yulan's family was fiendishly persecuted by perpetrators from the Qinghai Provincial government. Their homes were frequently and unlawfully searched and their money and belongings were taken away. "610 Office" personnel detained, sent to forced labour or sentenced to prison four people from their family. Within less than half a year, Zhao Yulan's older son and daughter-in-law died as a result of torture. Her younger son has been detained in the labour camp and has been subjected to forced brainwashing. -
The Brutal Torture of Dafa Practitioners in the Guangdong Province Chatou Labour Camp
2004-06-05Dafa practitioners at the labour camp are forced to transcribe letters prepared by the guards, renouncing their practice and denouncing Falun Dafa. The guards brutally torture those who do not comply, using sleep deprivation, forcing practitioners to stand for long periods of time, and hanging them up by ropes and shackles. The also tie up practitioners into positions that cause severe pain. They have exhausted their means of torturing determined Dafa practitioners. Even Ms. Pang Lihui, a practitioner who is over 70 years old, has also suffered these tortures. Guards took her to the notorious so-called "Guangzhou City Law Education School." They covered her mouth with strong, wide tape, wrapping it around her head about eight times. Ms. Pang could not breathe. -
Further Details of the Beating to Death of 62 Year Old Retired Teacher Ms. Zhao Xiaoping by Beijing Police (Photo)
2004-06-04Ms. Zhao Xiaoping was fondly known as "Sister Xinjiang." At 62 years old, Zhao was a resident in Urumqi City and a retired teacher of a Ceramic Factory. She was arrested for appealing against the persecution of Falun Gong. On January 4, 2001, Ms. Zhao was interrogated by the authorities. When she was returned to the cell, her face was disfigured with 3 big bumps on her head. Her body was covered with dirt, she could not talk, and her lips were tightly shut. She was sent to hospital for emergency treatment on January 5, 2001. The doctors found that she was suffering from internal injuries that consisted of bleeding in her liver, spleen, and stomach. She was also diagnosed as having a swollen heart from the trauma she received and kidney failure. As a result of these massive injuries, Ms. Zhao passed away on January 7, 2001. -
Death of Dafa Practitoner, Ms. Xu Jinzhi from Heilongjiang Province, While Detained at Mudanjiang Prison
2004-06-04Dafa practitioner, Ms. Xu Jinzhi, lived in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2002, Ms. Xu Jinzhi was arrested while making Dafa truth clarification materials and the police found Falun Gong flyers in her home. The authorities sentenced her to three years in prison and sent her to the Mudanjiang Prison. On May 25, 2004, Xu Jinzhi's family received a notice stating that she was in critical condition. When her family arrived at the hospital, they saw Xu Jinzhi's emaciated body. They were told she died from a brain hemorrhage. The police didn't allow her family to examine her body and had it cremated two days later, on May 27, 2004. -
Dafa Practitioner Zhang Shengqi from Jilin Province, Dies After Being Subjected to Torture in the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp
2004-06-04Mr. Zhang Shengqi was a 35-year-old Dafa practititioner who formerly lived in Jilin Province. In April 2001 he was incarcerated in the Baishan City Forced Labour Camp. Because he refused to renounce his belief, the guards often brutally tortured him. Later he was transferred to the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp in Changchun City. He suffered all kinds of cruel torture and was persecuted by the authorities there to force him to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa. As a result of the abuse, he became emaciated. In March 2002, he was released on medical parole to his family members care but never recovered and died on February 26, 2004. -
Suizhou City Officials Falsely Blame Falun Gong Practitioners When Unemployed Workers Strike After Failed Appeals to Higher Authorities
2004-06-04The Tieshu Group textile factory in Suizhou City once employed a few thousand workers, but has now gone bankrupt due to corrupt dealings between the factory leaders and the local government officials. In order to be able to support themselves, many jobless workers appealed to higher authorities on several occasions with no result. Finally, the unemployed workers protested by blocking the local railways. Information circulating among the workers said that Mayor Wu Chao was falsely telling the higher authorities that the railway blockings were caused by Falun Gong practitioners. Twenty of them were falsely arrested for allegedly practising Falun Gong and taken to the Hubei Province Denglin Farm (a jail), where the police did not allow visits from their family members. -

Mother of Toronto Resident on Brink of Death from Forced Injection of Nerve-damaging Drugs

Ms. Huang Xin is a retired military examiner. She was sent to the Liaoning Province Female Prison Hospital for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Gong. At the hospital she was injected with nerve-damaging drugs against her will and has lost most of her memory as well as displays slow reactions to her surroundings. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhao Mingxiang Tortured to Death by Police in Shandong Province
2004-06-03Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Mingxiang was 46 years old and lived in Shandong Province. He was forced to leave home for four years because of the persecution. On December 21, 2003, he was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials in Duanbolan Town, Jimo City. Villagers discovered his body in a haystack on December 30, 2003. On May 25, 2004, Zhao Mingxiang's family went to the Jimo City Police Department to claim the body. The police said Zhao Mingxiang died from "hunger and cold weather." Zhao Mingxiang obviously died after suffering nine days of brutal torture at the Duanbolan Police Station in Jimo City. We assume the police disposed of his body in order to escape responsibility.
